CottageCutz - Sweet Cupcake Shop card

Hi Everyone!
It's Olena here today to share with you a Sweet Cupcake Shop card!
I made this card using the Super CUTE CottageCutz dies- Sweet Cupcake Shop dies (4x6) from NEW 2013 Sweet Little Things Collection.

I cut out all the pieces with different colors of cardstock and sponge them with inks.

Using Spellbinder Classic Circle die and Embossing Dots Folder, I created a yellow circle frame.
For base card I used red cardstock 5" x 5".

I added  all  pieces and  die cuts to card front as shown in picture above. I, also, added Fance punch cuts in right and left side of this house.  I think, it will be perfect add to this house.
I decorated card with blue plastic pearls, yellow rhinestones and Stickles.

Birdie in Blossoms

Hi there!

It's Kathy here with you and today I have a Birdie in Blossoms Card to show you using three CottageCutz Dies.

I used the bird from the Bluebird Die, the flowers and branch from the Blossom Branch Die, and the frame from the Oval Doily & Frame Die.

I used a piece of designer paper (Secret Garden - Graphic 45) with a pretty bird and flower image and enhanced it with the dies matching the colors. The bird from the Bluebird Die, was cut with white paper and colored with Aegean Blue Chalk Ink and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The beak and feet were inked with Red Brick Chalk Ink. The Blossom Branch was cut with peach cardstock for the flowers and green for the branch.  The flowers were shaped with a mat and tool kit, inked with Red BrickChalk Ink, and dotted with Buttercup Liquid Pearls in the center. The branch was cut to piece around the lower corner of the image.  The frame from the Oval Doily & Frame was cut with Natural White Cardstock.

I added a bow made with Natural Jute String from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the Bow-Maker. I didn't add a sentiment to this, but a small, short sentiment would be cute on the bottom right or as a tag hanging from the bow.

Here are pictures of the dies I used on this.

I hope this gives you a little inspiration!

Girly Girl Gift Box

Hi Everyone! It's Lisa here and today I have a girly girly gift box to share with you. This box could be used to hold a treasure for a friend and then it would look lovely on a vanity, dressing table or shelf.
I altered a small paper mache box that you can pick up at any local craft store. On the cover of the box I used CottageCutz Ornate Circle Frame, Corset and Mini Pumps
I used some chalk ink and distress ink with sponge applicators to shade my corset and shoes. The feathers are chipboard and were treated  with some mists, inks and distress stickles.

Tiny pearls were added to the corset for buttons and fibers behind the corset and shoes lend a vintage shabby feel.
Edge punching on a contrasting pattern paper add a finished look to the bottom edge of the box.  I also had an old paper bag with some vintage printing on it. I tore pieces of it off, inked the edges and attached it to the sides of the box.

I had a TON of fun with these dies. My mind is always spinning with ideas on how else I can use them!

CottageCutz Vintage Clock

Hello friends!  Today it's Carol for the CottageCutz Design Team.  It's the last day of February.  Can you believe it.  I am still working on a Christmas Album....lol    But for today I have the Vintage Clock die from CottageCutz.  This die is perfect for an Anniversary Card, Retirement Card, or Birthday.
This is such a pretty die.  Brushed Corduroy distress ink was used on the die cut to shade it.  The die cut behind the clock is the Tea Time Doily.  There are two more layers behind the doily which include the Circle and Scalloped Circle from Spellbinders.  The punched border is a Martha Stewart punch.  The lace border is lace from Hobby Lobby and the rhinestones are from Recollection.  Crystal Effects was used on the face of the clock to give it a "Mother of Pearl" effect.    These are the dies use:

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I really appreciate you taken time from your busy day to visit.  Enjoy your day and happy crafting.

Vintage Clock and Cosmetic set for Christmas

Hello everyone, Vladka here!

I like to look beyond the obvious and I just wanted to try to use these Vintage dies for Christmas project. So I made a card with a pocket and a gift bag.

This great vintage clock shows midnight. Christmas night is here. People are in church and you can hear Silent night in the background.

I like to wrap all Christmas gifts and make a little or big packages, but I never try to make a gift bag before. So, this was a great opportunity. Girls like if they get some cosmetic stuff, so why don’t give a little hint what is hidden inside the bag. For this, I used Cosmetic set.

Vintage release really gives you a lot of possibilities and dies are perfect for vintage projects, but with a little imagination, they can be used for every occasion.  Try it and enjoy it!

A Lil' Shabby Chic

Hello everyone , Cheryl here with a Shabby Chic card I designed today using the Beautiful CottageCutz dies from the Vintage Release and Tea Time Release.

I LOVE the look of Shabby Chic its soo PRETTY and I LOVE PINK!!!

CottageCutz Dies Used:

For the Dress form I cut it out in matching dp, the one that is on the top, and then distressed it with distressing inks. I cut the Tea Time Tag out with white card stock and did the same distressing on it. I next took the Oval doily and layered it on top of the Tea Time Doily to give a different look, and love the way that turned out.

For the dress form I embellished it with feathers, and a flower. On the tag I used Seam Binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon and then added a flower to it. The buttons have thread ran through them to give the finished look. Lastly I stamped some vintage Verses and added some swrils to my card.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl
