Halloween Fun

Hello, Marla back with a new CottageCutz YouTube video.  Last year's Halloween release was so much fun.  There were so many fun dies that I didn't get a chance to use and since the release is currently 30% off in the Scrapping Cottage Store, so I thought this would be a great time to share a sweet card using the "Spookie Kitties" and the "Halloween Chair."  I more of a cutsie Halloween girl and these kitties couldn't be more adorable.

Using Water in Your Card Making

Hello, Marla here with another CottageCutz YouTube video tutorial and GIVEAWAY.  It's no secret that I love adding flowers to my cards, so I couldn't let these "Spring Tulips" sit any longer.  I paired them today with the milk can that came with the "Christmas Farmhouse Florals" die.  The container was the perfect size to compliment these beauties.

Sweet Valentine Wishes

Hi, my crafty friends, it's Marla, back with another Valentine's Day card that I am sharing over on the CottageCutz YouTube Channel.  Last week, Pam shared a sweet recipe card using the "Christmas Baking Mice" die.  If you missed it, you can find the post here.

Empathy or Sympathy Card

Happy New Year!   I am happy to be back with you today after a busy Christmas season.  Today, I am sharing an empathy or sympathy card.  These are the type of cards we don't like to make but unfortunately are needed.  I love the classic elegance of this card.  If you don't need an empathy or sympathy card in your stash, you can use the card's basic design for a birthday, anniversary or wedding card.  The sky is the limit. 

All of the specific design details can be found on the CottageCutz YouTube Channel. I will also be giving away the beautiful "Holiday Dove w/Floral" die.  The die was created for the Christmas Part II release, but as you can see the addition of the dove is perfect for the theme of my card today.

The Season of Love

 I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. Marla back again with my last CottageCutz YouTube video for 2022.  As we settle into a long hard winter, we leave behind our warm Christmas cheer and transition into the season of love, Valentine's Day.  
But hold on, don't put away those Christmas dies just yet.  Today's card features the "Christmas Owls" from the Christmas Part I release.  I ditched the Santa hat from the smaller owl and replaced it with the bow from the "Ginger Friends" die.  Finally, I omitted the holly from the branches and magically, we have a winter scene with two "love birds."  I was inspired by the old-world style of the top hat, so I paired these "love birds" with a retired vintage style patterned paper I had in my stash.
