Victorian Lady

Hello CottageCutz Fans, and Happy Tuesday to all!

Today's card features the Victorian Release. LOVE this release and all the dies that come in this collection. On my card today I used the CottageCutz Victorian Lady, Ornate Fence , Flourish Vine, and the largest part of the Victorian Frame.

The Victorian Lady was colored with copics, and then I added some Viva Pearl Pen dots to the dress and her umbrella.  The Victorian frame , works perfect to frame the circle layer I used. Love the look! I also cut the Ornate Fence in white and added the Flourish Vine to it, along with some flowers that I cut out using the CottageCutz Tree of Nature die.. I love the small flowers from this die, they work perfect for embellishing a lot of the CottageCutz Greenery.

CottageCutz Dies Used: All are linked to the Scrapping Cottage Store, just click on each photo and it will take you to the item.
Lastly I used a super old stamp and punched it out with SU! punches. The dp is from DCWV. I added some seam binding and sewing to complete my card. Love the way it turned out, and I had a lot of fun making this card!

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

CottageCutz Days of Spring

Happy Spring and welcome to another edition of Cottage Cutz Designs.  It's Carol here.  For this creation today the Days of Spring Scene die was used.  Isn't it pretty.  Just paint a little glue on the die cut and sprinkle some sparkle and you are good to go with your card focal point.
This die is as sweet as it can be.  Perfect for your Spring Cards.  This one happens to be a Thank You card.  We all need to build up our stash of "thank you" cards.   The Scrapping Cottage has so many possibilities for creating your perfect card.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Hope you got inspiration to create your own "Thank You" cards.  Be sure to check out the beautiful dies available at The Scrapping Cottage.  Until next time, Happy Crafting.    See you soon.  Here is the die:

Beehives

Hi all CottageCutz fans! Vladka here!
Time for weddings is around the corner and it is always good to have some cards on hand when someone comes and ask for them, don't you think? My card is not typical wedding card, but also people are different and I like to create something different, special. So, I used Beehives die from Spring release and added sentiment in Slovenian language which means: "Love is sweeter as honey."
Distress Inks were my best friends for coloring also this time. Did I mention already that I cut out all my pieces out of kraft cardstock paper. This way colors are more intense as if I do the same with white cardstock paper. You can find kraft cardstock (this is 100% recycled cardstock paper) in almost every craft store. I get mine in local craft store.
This is it for today. I wish you all great weekend!

Victorian Tea

Hello everyone and Happy Thursday to all! Cheryl here today with another Victorian Card using the Victorian Release. I am absolutely in LOVE with this release, and Loving all the frames, and corner pieces. Every die is absolutely Beautiful!

On my card I used:
The CottageCutz Victorian Frame was cut out with Brown Card Stock and placed over a oval die cut. Next I cut the CottageCutz Victorian Tea Pot out with white card stock and then airbrushed the greenery, flowers, and then the teapot. I love the look of the airbrushing on the teapot.

The Victorian Rose Vine was cut with Brown card stock, and used as corner pieces, love how they work for this. You could also use them to frame out and plain frame. I love how they will work in many different ways.

Lastly to embellish, I did add some sewing, and some RRR Satin Ribbon, with a sweet little flower in the center. Very simple card to make, this one measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Added ribbon in the middle of card and rhinestones.
Very simple and quick card.
Also, like a option, you can added different sentiment on card or inside, but I think this card cute without sentiments too.

Treat Boxes

Hello everyone, and Happy Friday to all!
Today I am sharing the Easter Treat Boxes that I made for my Son, and for my daughters boyfriend for Easter.

I used the recycled boxes, and made bands for these as well. But on these 2 I used the CottageCutz Chick with Egg die, and the Happy Easter Egg die, both from the Springtime Release. The Ribbon I used is Seam Binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Love the Springtime Release, as there are sooo many go to dies in this release. I really had a fun time making these treat boxes for the kids!

CottageCutz Cross W/ne

Spring is in the air!   It's time to take out those spring colors and create.  It's Carol today.  Here's a creation using the beautiful CottageCutz dies from the recent Spring release.   This die is called the Cross W/Vine You would think of this as an Easter die, but there are more possibilities.  This could easily be used for cards for First Holy Communion, Holy Confirmation, and even a Sympathy card.  By changing up the colors and the papers, you could make some beautiful cards for these occasions.
For the vine copic markers were used to color and shade.  For the little flowers I used Distress ink.  I just played with Barn Red, Lipstick Pink, and Spun Sugar.   It's the same ink  used to create the rose.  I just added Mustard Seed to the center.
For the card base the Spellbinders Majestic Embrace creates the background.   The CottageCutz Bella Leafy Branch is under the pretty Rose.  Hope you have enjoy your visit today.   Be sure to check out The Scrapping Cottage and the new Vintage Release.    Until next time, Happy Crafting.  See you again soon.  The dies used are as follows:

Mr. Snuggles and Flower Pot

Hi, all. Vladka is here today.
Spring is here and also April and funny weather. On Monday when I was creating this card, we had 10 minutes of sun, 5 minutes of rain and then also a little snow. Everything in one. It was really funny and I also had fun with this card. Do you still remember cute little Mr. Snuggles
I've combined this die with Bunny Stuck in Flower Pot and Thank you Expression die. Mr. Snuggles is peeking from the pot and wants to say thank you. Everything was colored with Distress Inks and I used my favorite kraft paper for this card. I hope you like it!
