Sending A Long Distance Hug Featuring Campin' Out Fox

Hello there, Friends! It's Theary Chea here again on the blog. For today's post, I wanted to share a card that I created using some products from the Campin' Out Black Friday Release.

This release has to be one of my favorites. I love everything about nature and being outdoors, so this card that I created was inspired by my love for mother nature.

For more information on how I created this card, Please check out CottageCutz Youtube Channel here.

The Winner of the Gingerbread family from my November 17th video is Debbie Coppersmith. Please contact Mary Marsh at mrmarsh917@gmail.com.

New Baby Card

Happy Tuesday Cottagecutz fans. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and had lots of time with family and loved ones. It’s Wendy bringing you the blog today and I am mixing it up a bit. I love the new camping release and I have made quite a few camping scenes so I thought I’d try something slightly different

I have made a new baby card and just by changing the colours you can use these dies all year round and I think that’s what we want from theses dies.

This is a short tutorial today but I’ll be back on Friday with full tutorial

To begin with I cut the largest ‘Nested Stitched Scalloped Rectangles’. I then took the largest ‘Nested Stitched Rectangles’ and cut it out in green card. You don’t need to cut the full rectangle as I used the  ‘Grass Slimline’ to cut a small border. I then attached this to the card

Next I took a thin slither of brown card to act as a washing line and glued on the card. To fill up my washing line with stuffed animals I used the ‘Campin Out Racoon’ and ‘Campin out Moose and Reindeer’ dies. I cut them in very girlie colours but you could change it to a masculine theme. I attached the animals to the washing line with 1mm foam pads.

Next I took the ‘Campin Out Mushrooms and Rocks’. I cut the main mushroom in pink and used a white gel pen to give them some features. Again these were attached to the card with 1mm foam pads.

To finish I took a folded card to fit the design and attached it with 3D foam pads. I also used the pegs from the ‘Baby Boy Clothes’ to secure the animals to the washing line. I then stamped a congratulations sentiment and attached the the bottom right of the card

I really hope that you like the card today as I had so much fun making it. I wish you a great week and make time for crafting. See you Friday for anther post
Wendy

Beary Fun

Hi everyone I am back again with another post on this beautiful Monday using some dies from the fabulous Black Friday release.  I used "Campin Out Bear w/Banjo" and "Campin Out Mushrooms and Rocks" to make my card today.
I first used Autumn themed paper which I felt went along with these dies perfectly.  I used kraft colored cardstock to mat the patterned paper against.

I diecut the dies using colored cardstock for my "Sunflowers"

I then used distress inks to add some shadow to the diecut pieces.  For the sunflowers themselves I used Vintage photo in Distress.  For my bear I used Vintage Photo in Oxide to give it a tad bit lighter shading.

I colored the mushrooms using my copics pens in R29, R24, R89 and R85
I hope everyone enjoyed my post and be sure to check out our Youtube channel "Campin' Out Black Friday Release Christmas Slimline Card| New GIVEAWAY and Winner Announcement - YouTube

Peace On Earth Christmas Card

Happy Sunday Scrapping Cottage friends! Melinda here with another project share. Today I am sharing a Christmas card I created with the new Black Friday Release Dies and one of the new Christmas Die releases.

Here is a look at my finished card.

My card size is an A2 top folding card. I started with a white card base.

I used a piece of blue cardstock for the mat. I then used some Sapphire ink to ink the edges of the blue cardstock to create some depth.
I then used the Campin' Out Mountains and Tree Die. I cut them out in white. I used a gray marker to give the mountains some color. I then layered them onto a piece of white cardstock for a white base.

I then added in some of the trees from the same die as well as a large layered tree from the die set.

In this shot you can see where I used the stars from the Moon Stars Die. I added them randomly along the edges of the card. I then added in the Peace on Earth Die to the center. I then used my gel pen to add some dots to give the night sky more stars.

S'more Fun

Hello CottageCutz friends! Thanks for taking the time to stop and visit with us today. It's Mary Marsh here bringing you the Saturday edition of the Blog.

IT'S NEW RELEASE TIME! Our annual Black Friday release is in the store, and you can pick it up at a great bundle price of only $49.95 or the individual dies at a 30% savings. There are 14 ever so cute new designs that can be used year round for your cardmaking.

We are also having a Black Friday blowout sale with savings of up to 85% on selected dies. So shop early for the best selections. The sale ends Friday,  December 3.

Today for your viewing pleasure, I have a design featuring several of the Campin' Out dies. I made a birthday card for the 4 year old next door. We were over a couple of months ago sitting around their firepit and making s'mores. Maddie just loved us being there and talked non-stop for 3 hours. So I thought a card with a fire and marshmallows would be a cute card for her.

Design Steps:

I decided to make a nighttime card in the slimline design. I found some perfect designer paper for the background. It already had the night sky and stars on it. I cut it from the largest Nested Stitched Rectangles Slimline die. The card base is white and measures the same size as the designer paper.

white card base: 3 1/2" x 8 1/2"
designer paper: 3 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Next, I cut the images. I used the Campin' Out FoxCampin' Out Hedgehog and Mouse and the Campin' Out Sun & Moon.

For the next step, I used the Hills Slimline die to cut a slope for the ground. I stamped the sentiment in chocolate chip ink.
Now that all the elements are prepared, I am ready to start card assembly. I attached the slope with double sided tape and the images with dimensional adhesive.
I thought the card looked like it needed something else so I cut a tree from the Campin' Out Trees die. Took some white acrylic paint and splattered it around the card, added a few more yellow stars and some sparkle with clear wink of stella.
And, that's my sample for this week. I hope I have given you an idea for another way to use these new dies. See you next Saturday!

Reminder: The CottageCutz You Tube Channel is up and running again. We have new videos every Wednesday. Plus there is a giveaway on the channel. Details on the channel. Check it out here.
