Bunny Tree Cottage Happy Easter Card - Giveaway

Hey Krafty Friends, Jen from Katahin Krafts, back with another CottageCutz YouTube video on the CottageCutz Channel.  I crafted my fun Easter scene using "Bunny Tree Cottage", "Spring Sentiments", "Spring Chicken", "Little Flowers" and "Bunny Express Carrot Cars" dies.

I love creating scenes using elements from several different die sets, even if it's just a small element like the Easter eggs from the "Bunny Express Carrot Cars."  I was excited to add the vine from the "Spring Chicken" sign to the Bunny Tree, I loved how well they fit together!

You can find all my card instructions over on the  YouTube Channel!

While over on the channel, make sure you like and comment for a chance to win the "Bunny Tree Cottage" die!

The winner of the "Playful Piggies" die from my last video is Katherine Lavender, the details for collecting your giveaway prize are over on YouTube!

Thanks for stopping in, and happy krafting!

Mother's Day in the Bunny Tree Cottage

Hello Scrapping Cottage friends! Thanks for taking the time to stop and visit with us today. It's Mary Marsh here bringing you the Friday edition of the Blog.

We have a brand new release of dies in the online store. Your slimline cardmaking is going to get a lot easier. We have 9 Slimline designs and they are on a 25% off sale. These are wonderful, basic dies that should be a part of every card maker's collection especially if you are liking the new slimline style.

The Circus, Spring and Safari dies are also currently on a 25% off sale. The DT is using dies from these collections along with the new Slimline dies to create our card samples.

Today for your viewing pleasuring, I am using the Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Slimline die along with the Bunny Tree Cottage dies and I created a Mother's Day card. My next door neighbor has 2 little ones and this will go to her. Her little 3 year old loves to bake with Mommy so I thought this scene would be perfect for her.

Design Steps:
I started my card by cutting the Bunny Tree Cottage in different colors of cardstock. I cut 2 of the little bunnies and cut their outfits in blue and pink. My neighbor has a little boy and girl. Instead of the Mama bunny holding the pie, I put it in the hands of the small bunny. So she is presenting it to Mama for a Mother's Day gift.

Next I cut my background panel. I used the 2nd largest Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Slimline die and cut in white cardstock. I sponged tumbled glass distress and mowed lawn distress inks on the panel. I also used the Clouds Slimline die and cut in white cardstock then sponged it with tumbled glass distress ink.
I stamped my Mother's Day Sentiment in an indigo blue ink directly on the clouds.
Now that the card elements are done I am ready to start assembling my outdoor scene. I attached the clouds with double sided tape. The tree and cottage door with glue dots, the grass tufts and mushrooms are attached with Ranger multi matte adhesive. The bunnies are attached with dimensional adhesive. I also cut a flower pot & tulip and put it in the hands of the little boy bunny.
To finish off my card, I cut a medium purple card base 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" and scored at 2 3/4" and attached the image panel to the base. I also added a couple of mushrooms at the tree base and front door to the cottage.
That's it for me for this week. I hope I have given you an idea for using both the new Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Slimline die and the Bunny Tree Cottage. See you next Saturday!

Easter Egg Hunt

Hi!

It's Anja here. I have my last Easter card for you today.

For this project I used:

- Cottage Cutz dies (Bunny Tree Cottage, Easter Egg Hunt),

- Distress inks,

- white card base (11x15 cm),

- white card stock for die cuts,

- black pen,

- paper glue.

First I cut and colored the bunnies and all the other pieces.

Next I cut and colored the eggs and the sign.

Then I did the background.

Last I arranged all the pieces on the card base and glued it together. And my card was done.

And that's all from me for today. Have a nice Easter Sunday and see you again next week.

Anja Z.

Bunnies Secret Cottage

Hello Scrapping Cottage Friends,

Happy Monday!!

It is Pam sharing with you on the blog today!

I am finishing up my Easter cards for friends and family.   So for today I am using Bunny Tree Cottage.  These little bunnies have a secret cottage in the woods.  There are so many wonderful details to this sweet die.  I am sure it will keep the recipient gazing at it for quite some time.

I cut out 3 frames using the largest of the Pierced Wide Rectangel Frame set.  Glue the frames together and cut out the pieces for the scene using the Bunny Tree Cottage die.  Shade and assemble your pieces
For the background I used blending brushes to create the sky and the area behind the door. I used an A2 card base and a slightly bigger piece of purple glued to the base.  Glue the background inked piece to the purple card stock and then pop up the frame scene on top.  I put a few more pop dots behind each bunnies head and some under the tree branch for support

Stamp the sentiment and layer it onto purple card stock then pop to card and you are done

I am just about done with my Easter cards and I have had so much fun deciding which cards are going to which family member.  I hope you are having fun crafting too!

Blessings and Take Care

Pam

Bunny Tree Cottage

Hello Scrapping Cottage friends! Thanks for taking the time to stop and visit with us today. It's Mary Marsh here bringing you the Tuesday edition of the Blog.

We have a brand new release of dies in the online store. It's our Spring Release with 22 new designs. Everything you need to create Spring, Easter, Birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thinking of you cards and so much more.

The Design Team has been showing samples using these new dies. So if you haven't seen them check back on the blog for lots of great ideas. The dies are currently on sale at 25% off so check all the new designs in the online store for some great selections.

The Safari & Circus releases are still available at 25% off as well. There is also a St Patrick's Day sale going on until March 18th. You can save up to 60% off on selected designs.

Now onto my card for today. I am featuring the new Bunny Tree Cottage die and I created an Easter card. No tutorial today but I do have some card details for you.

My card colors are from the Splitcoaststampers color challenge #835. I am the hostess and I chose purple posy, night of navy and coastal cabana for the challenge colors. Optional is to use designer paper.
For my card I started off stenciling a brick background - soft suede ink (neutral) on kraft paper (neutral).  The bunny window scene is cut in the challenge colors . I used designer paper on the bunny outfits and the wallpaper (it's a bit light in this photo).

I used the Spring Grass die and cut in a dark green cardstock (another neutral). I added some Easter eggs (2018 Mr Peter Rabbit die) and tulips (2017 Hello Spring die). My bunny kisses phrase is from the 2019 Bunny Kisses and Easter Wishes die. I cut in coastal cabana cardstock and shaded with the same color ink.

The card base is 4 1/2" x 5 3/4". I didn't have cardstock that size so I used a hinge technique to make it larger. Instructions for the technique are here.

Well, that's it for me for this post. I hope I have given you a fresh idea for a way to use this new die. See you on Saturday!

May your day Bloom with Happiness!

Hello!  This is Sukie and today I'm sharing a slimline card for my design team post.  I created a cheerful scene with several of the new Springtime die sets.  These dies are currently on sale too!

I lightly inked a stencil to create a subtle look of brick in the background.  Next I created the Spring themed scene by adding die cuts from the Cat in Spring Window and Spring Bicycle at the focal point of my card.  I had to do a bit of creative fussy cutting and ink shading to give the bike a unique look.  The Bunny Tree Cottage die set added the oversized tree, the partial tree branch, the grass and mushrooms to the scene.  The fence pieces are from the Picket Fence Border die set which were trimmed down to fit on each side of my card.
Here are the die sets used on my card, available in the store:
