CottageCutz Valentine Mini Album

Greetings CottageCutz friends!  Today it is Carol here with a Valentime Mini Album created with the adorable CottageCutz Dies.  My cover features Mr. Love Bug and the Flourish Love Heart that he is mounted on.  If you look at my heart shaped mini, it is abstract.  That is because I purchased a heart box from the dollar store and used it as my template.  I am making the box to match this mini to hold some Chocolate treats.  I'll show you that at a later date.
The first page is decorated with the Elegant Envelope.  They're are a couple cute tags inside.  The second page has the Fancy Floral Corner #2 to hold the sweet little tags.

Page three is a mat to hold a photo.  Page four uses Confectionery Bag, Small to hold a tag and behind that is the Sweet Floral Heart and hot pink glitter.
Page five has the darling Sweet Heart Die that will hold a photo.  Page 6 is also designed to hold another photo.
Page 7 uses the Flourish Love Heart which is mounted on a heart that opens to reveal a place for a photo and a pocket with more tags.   Page 8 is a pocket that holds 2 tags made from the Sweet Floral Heart
Page 9 features a pocket of tags decorated with the Sweet Heart Die.  Page 10 is another pocket that has been decorated with the Filigree Cupid die.
Page 11 is a pocket the holds the Classic Petite Envelope.  It is decorated with the Sweet Heart die and Sweet Lovebirds.  For the last page the Lovebirds are gracing the Elegant Love Heart.
So grab some CottageCutz dies and make your sweetie a cute little mini for Valentine's Day.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Happy Crafting.  Here are the dies I used:

Cupid Love

Hello everyone, hope you all are doing well! Time to get ready for Valentine's Day. It will be here before we know it! The CottageCutz NEW "Sweet Love" Release is perfect for Valentines Day or any day!

On my card here I used the beautiful CottageCutz Sweet Love Frame, to frame out the Filigree Cupid, and Love Blooms die cuts.

I cut out my CottageCutz Filigree Cupid with the matching design paper in blue. Next I used glitter to cover him, I thought it would give a sweet glittery look to him :) For the CottageCutz Love Blooms heart, I used the same dp, but used the back part of it. and then colored over it with copic. Next I used some micro bead/glitter to cover the blooms of the heart. The CottageCutz Sweet Love Frame was  cut using the Brown Card Stock.

*CottageCutz Sweet Heart Border*
I love how this border works perfect to do a border around the page. I think its design is absolutely Beautiful, and made it super easy for me to frame my card. I love this when borders work in many different ways! I also used it as a border on the front of my card.

Supplies Used:
CottageCutz Sweet Love Release
Glitters
Dp/ Crate Paper from AC
Ribbon & Flowers/ Really Reasonable Ribbon
Stamp /SU!
Heart is from a button pack.
Sewing to complete my card

Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

BEE MINE

Good morning! Judy here to share with you two of my favorite things -- bees and valentines!

I love Valentine's Day -- almost more than any other holiday! It must come from my incredible love for chocolate :) The love for bee things is a little different -- I am very allergic to bee stings, but for some reason, just love the dies, stamps, and little bee knickknacks I find. As long as they aren't real, I am good with them!
I had originally started to make a typical yellow and black card using the Bumblebee Mini Die, but then I took a pink turn (which happens frequently since it's my favorite color) and made my card into a valentine instead.
The Scalloped Doily provided a fun background for my pink flower. The bees are buzzin' around to wish you an early Happy Valentine's Day~!

Another Sneak Peek!

Good morning and welcome to The Scrapping Cottage Blog.  I have another little sneaky peeky for you today.  There are some wonderful things headed your way for Valentine's Day from The Scrapping Cottage, and this is one of them.  They will be available for purchase very soon, so get your wish lists made!!  ;)   The postage stamp die is one of my favorites of the coming release, and there are 11 adorable stamp images that can be used in the center of the die cut.  Today I'm using another one of my favorites, and that's this cute little Love Frog.  Isn't she sweet?  I say "she", because there are eyelashes drawn on her, and I even exaggerated those a little more with my black Micron pen.
I embellished the edge of the die cut with some red and white twine, and although it's a little difficult to see, I think you can make out the paper piercing I did around the edge of the image on the red card stock.  The big red bow and pop dots give this lots of dimension, and I found some red metal heart stickers in my stash of goodies to dress up one side of this card.  The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored with Copics.  Is she cute, or what?  No sentiment needed here, because those little froggy arms wrapped around that conversation heart pretty much says it all.

This postage stamp die is so versatile, and makes a wonderful addition to a card, scrapbook page, or altered item.  I'm thinking that images for many holidays would be perfect with this die.  Hmmmmm...  What do YOU think?  Have a blessed day, and a very safe and Happy New Year's celebration!!!!

Love ya,
Lorie
