Foxy Fall

Happy Friday Cottage Cutz fans!  It's Jeanne today with a cute fall card made with one of the new Christmas dies!  I made a small notecard size card using the cute fox from the Holiday Gnomes w/ Fox die set.  This card is also for this week's Clean and Simple challenge at Splitcoaststampers.  The challenge this week is to make a CAS card with an element that begins with "F".  Fall and Fox - I have this one covered.
I first cut all the pieces from fall colored card stock and patterned paper.  I'll admit that the leaves were some that I had left over from a previous card.  If I have left over die cuts, I store them in the envelope with the die so I'll have them handy if needed.
I used a sponge dauber and added some shading to the fox, then assembled him.
Using the third smallest circle from the Stitched Circle set, I cut three Pumpkin Pie and one white circle.  From the plaid paper I cut one circle using the second smallest of the Nested Scallop Circles.
I stacked the plain circles with the white on top and then glued those to the plaid scalloped one.  The fox was glued on top.
I added the medallion, some foliage and the sentiment to a 3.5 x 5 inch note card.
For the finishing touch I added a few matching rhinestones.  I love my bling!  This little fox is so versatile.  Without his hat he is perfect for fall, but add his hat and he's great for Christmas!

Be sure to visit the online store - the new Christmas dies are wonderful!

Pumpkin Latte!

Hello Scrapping Cottage Friends!

It is Pam creating with you today!

It is time for all of our very favorite flavors and spices!  I don't know about you but I love the pumpkin scones at Star Bucks.  And of course if they don't have the scones I settle for a delicious cup of pumpkin latte!  Oh I love fall!!!

With all of the wonderful colors, smells and crisp air who can resist autumn.  This fabulous season is my inspiration today.

Designer Steps:

 1.  Using the Mr. Snuggles die and the Pumpkin Pie & Latte die cut out all of the pieces using white, cream and brown card stock
 2.  Shade the bear piece with TH Vintage ink and color the cup using your favorite markers.  I used my Copics
3.  Assemble the bear and cup set aside
 4.  Use a white A2 card base, cut a piece of brown card stock just slightly smaller then the base front, Cut a piece of checked DP 4 x 5 1/4 and a piece of leaf DP 5 1/4 x 2.  Make a brown bottom layer slightly bigger for the 5 1/4 x 2 inch piece of leaf DP.  Use the 4th from the largest Pierced Rectangle and cut it on white card stock
 5.  Layer the Leaf DP on top of the brown and add the raffia ribbon and bow
 6.  Stamp the upper right hand corner of the white Pierced Rectangle with Happy Fall and then pop the bear onto the rectangle
7.  Glue the brown and checked paper to the white card front and add the strip of leaf DP.  Next just pop up your little bear panel and your card is complete

Fall Card

Hello!  This is Sukie and today I have a fall themed card to share for my design team post.  After such a hot summer, I'm definitely ready for fall which inspired this card!
I found the perfect fall themed papers in my stash.  The colors are so vibrant and fun.  I especially love the yellow and green mixed with the burgundy!
I used a couple of punches from my stash, one to create a border and the other to punch a scalloped circle for my card.
I used the Flatbed Truck with Accessories, Fall Phrases, Pumpkin Pie & Latte and the Mail Tag Set dies to cut out the pieces for my card.
I created my card base with the patterned papers, added the scalloped border and layered the tag on top of the background.  A small twine bow was used to accent the tag.
Next I placed the Flatbed Truck in the center of my card.  The "fall" sentiment was added to the tag along with the tiny pumpkin on the scalloped circle.
Here are the dies used on my card, available in the shop:

Autumn Memories

Happy Friday Cottage Cutz fans!  Its Jeanne today with my last card before Thanksgiving!  This card uses the Country Candles dies along with a few from the Autumn release. The Autumn release dies are on sale for a limited time so be sure to stop by the online store!
I started by die cutting the lantern from a "galvanized tin" cardstock, the candle, flames and bow from vanilla, and the glass from velum.  I used leaves that I had left over from last week's card!  I had already used a sponge to color the edges of the leaves.
Next, I colored the vanilla pieces with Copic markers.
I carefully adhered the velum window to the back of the lantern using Multi Medium Matte.
I cut a gold panel the size of an A2 card - 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches, and a 5 1/4 x 4 inch panel from brown Co'ordinations cardstock.  This cardstock was popular several years ago and has a different color interior which shows when embossed and/or sanded.  Today, I embossed the panel and used a sanding block to reveal the interior color and enhance the embossing.
I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink and used the third smallest stitched oval to cut it out.
The lantern is popped off the embossed panel using foam dots and I used linen thread behind it.
I glued the sentiment below and slightly to the right of the lantern and then glued on my leaves. The embossed panel is glued to the gold one and both are adhered to an A2 card base.

I hope you enjoyed my card today.  My next post will be after Thanksgiving and I wanted to get in one last autumn themed post!

Pumpkins Everywhere

Happy Friday everyone!  It's Jeanne today and I have a fall card that I entered into the October 25 Fusion challenge.  It is a combination theme/sketch challenge.  When I saw the challenge I knew that these dies would be perfect!
The challenge:
To start, I die cut the pumpkins, pile of leaves and the pie from the Pumpkin & Vines and Pumpkin Pie & Latte dies using various colors of card stock - Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake and white.  I ended up die cutting more leaves than I needed but have saved those for another project.
I then used a sponge dauber to add depth to the edges and colors to the leaves.  I ended up changing my pie plate color to Lost Lagoon after I picked out my patterned paper.  I decided the blue gave it more of a pop.
I made an A2 card base from Crumb Cake and cut the circle from one of the patterned papers using the middle die from the Double Stitched Circle die set.  I used the coordinating paper and cut a rectangle 2 x 4 inches.
My pie became the oval in the sketch.
Finally I adhered everything together and added a few sequins.
This card came together very quickly thanks to the sketch.  I'll be making several of these as Thanksgiving cards.

The new Autumn 2018 dies are on sale for a limited time at the online store.  Be sure to drop by check them all out!
