Gift tags as mini cards

Hello everybody, Vladka here!

I have new project for you. This time I want to show you my two gift tags and they can also be used as mini cards.
Basis of the first tag is made from Homemade tag die and I embellished it with Home Baked Stamps and with word Love, made with Tweet Love die. The inside of the tag hide some sentiments, flowers and a little greenery.

For second tag I used Oval Doily for the basis die and added birthday wish in the inside.

And here are all dies on one place. Click on the photo will take you to the store:

I wish you beautiful Sunday!

CottageCutz post - Pansy card

Hi Everyone!

It's Olena here today to share with you a Beautiful Pansy oval card! I made this card using the Super CUTE CottageCutz dies- Pansy Seeds and Oval Doily & Frame .

On this card I used the gorgeous CottageCutz Pansy Seeds die to create my own pansy flowers. I cut out  4 times flowers and leaves using purple card stock, and then I sponge them with craft ink. Next, I used Zip Dry paper glue to give them a 3-D look.

I used the gorgeous CottageCutz Oval Doily & Frame die to create oval doily shape. Then, I stamp dots on oval shape with stamp using orange craft ink.
The base card  was cut with Spellbinders dies. I, also, cut banner with yellow cardstock and stamp sentiment "MOM".
I added  flower and leaves to card front as shown in picture above.

Happy Birds

Hi everyone!

It's Kathy here with you today with a Happy Birds card for you! I love this Bluebird Die with the bird, branch, and flowers! You can use each separately or all together!

You can click on the photo for a closer look

I couldn't decide whether to use blue or lavender on this, so I decided to use both of them! I cut all the die pieces in Solar White Cardstock and colored them with VersaMagic Chalk inks (Eggplant, Hint of Pesto, and Aegean Blue). I arranged them around the Oval Doily & Frame Die and placed it on a white mat embossed with a folder. I added some Buttercup Liquid Pearls to the flower centers, adhesive pearls and a twine bow.

Here are the dies I used on this:

Birdie in Blossoms

Hi there!

It's Kathy here with you and today I have a Birdie in Blossoms Card to show you using three CottageCutz Dies.

I used the bird from the Bluebird Die, the flowers and branch from the Blossom Branch Die, and the frame from the Oval Doily & Frame Die.

I used a piece of designer paper (Secret Garden - Graphic 45) with a pretty bird and flower image and enhanced it with the dies matching the colors. The bird from the Bluebird Die, was cut with white paper and colored with Aegean Blue Chalk Ink and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The beak and feet were inked with Red Brick Chalk Ink. The Blossom Branch was cut with peach cardstock for the flowers and green for the branch.  The flowers were shaped with a mat and tool kit, inked with Red BrickChalk Ink, and dotted with Buttercup Liquid Pearls in the center. The branch was cut to piece around the lower corner of the image.  The frame from the Oval Doily & Frame was cut with Natural White Cardstock.

I added a bow made with Natural Jute String from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the Bow-Maker. I didn't add a sentiment to this, but a small, short sentiment would be cute on the bottom right or as a tag hanging from the bow.

Here are pictures of the dies I used on this.

I hope this gives you a little inspiration!

Plumeria Doily

Hi everyone!

Kathy here!  Today is my first post as a designer...so exciting!  For my project, I made a card using the Plumeria & Leaves Dies to create the flowers and the Oval Doily & Frame Dies.

For the frame, I used 2 different papers for the inside and outside and inked the edges to give it some depth.  The nice thing about this is you can use anything for the sentiment, preferably girlie on this one!

For the embellishments, I cut some leaves and flowers, shaped them, inked them, and arranged them around the doily frame.  Then I just added some adhesive pearls, trim, and a bow!  I love these 2 die sets, there are so many things you can do with these!

Here are pictures of the Sets I used here:

I hope this gives you a little inspiration!

More Tea Time Fun With CottageCutz

Hello and happy Saturday!  Lorie here today with a couple of cards I've been working on since I last posted here.  I've been having plenty of fun with this Tea Time Release, and the fun continues.  For the first card, I went with somewhat of a cameo theme, by combining the CottageCutz Oval Doily and Frame die with the CottageCutz Teapot Mini die.  I simply cut everything with the desired color card stock, and added embellishments, along with the liquid pearls, which was a quick and easy way to give it a  special little "extra".
The next card was a fun one to make that also showcases the CottageCutz Oval Doily and Frame die.  Some pretty patterned paper, and some strategically placed pearls give this SWEET birthday card the perfect amount of bling.  The tea cakes were cut using the CottageCutz Tea Cakes 4x4 die, and they were colored with Copic markers.  The sentiments come from Peachy Keen Stamps.
Here's a closer look at the detail of these sweet tea cakes.  I used Stampin' Up! Crystal Effects to make the ganache frosting look extra shiny.   Some coarse glitter on the fruit and flowers would have been a nice touch, too, BUT it would be best to do that BEFORE  the frosting, which needs plenty of drying time.

Thanks so much for stopping by The Scrapping Cottage Blog today.  It's always wonderful to have you, and I wish you a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend.  Happy Crafting!

Time For Tea

Good morning and happy Sunday!  It's Lorie here today with a card that is inspired by one of my favorite outings.  That would be going to tea, and one of my favorite places to take tea is  at the Victorian Country Inn.  My card is inspired by the rich jewel tone colors that Miss Barbara has exquisitely included in her beautiful decor at the Inn.  Click on the link to see all the lovely details of this beautiful little country piece of heaven!

For this card, I used the CottageCutz Oval Doily and FrameTea Time Border, and  Small Tea Cup, CottageCutz dies.  I found this beautiful K&Co. paper that reminded me of the tea room, and for embellishments, the pearl flourishes and pleated ribbon seemed like the perfect additions.  This tea party release from The Scrapping Cottage is wonderful!  There are so many gorgeous dies to choose from, and the creative possibilities with them are limitless.  I just LOVE them!!!

So happy you could drop by today.  Hope you're enjoying a beautiful weekend!
