Halloween Shaker Easel Card

Hi Everyone...welcome to the weekend.  Today I wanted to inspire you with this Halloween Shaker card I created.  I love creating shaker cards...so much fun.  I wish I could show you better in the photo how the black glitter shakes around in the frame, pictures just don't do it justice.

You can see bits and pieces here in there that haven't fallen down yet, but you still just don't get the whole effect.

Want to know all the great dies I used for this card, here is the complete list.

Have a great crafty rest of the weekend...

Happy Day!!!

Today is hump day of the week and I hope all of you have a HAPPY DAY! I created this card with the  Airplane with Banner Die. Having a little boy in the house you know I had to make two airplanes...one for my card and one for the card he made beside me during scrap time. What precious times.

I also used the My Little Shoebox matching patterned paper ....it all blended just perfect. Don't you love it.

Remember to have a Happy Day and I'll see you soon.

How Many Dies Can You Use?

Hi Everyone, Lori here with a little project I created that just kept on going.  I started making a mini book the other night with some of our new dies.  I planned on doing just a couple of dies, but I was enjoying myself so much I just kept going.  When all was said and done I used eight dies and it was so much fun.

I also used the new Halloween Collection from My Little ShoeBox and it was the perfect compliment to the new die collection.  Below are all the photos of the pages and at the end you'll find a recipe with all the dies used.

Summer Fun

Hi Everybody. With the heat of the season in full gear it's hard not to think of summer fun.  Outdoor parties, afternoon pinics and breezy nights at an amusement park.  So our new carnival collection is so awesome, in fact I couldn't stop creating so I have two cards for you today.

My first card uses the Carousel Horse Die .  I used Mcgill paper bloom tools to curve the body out and make it 3-D then I added all of his detail.  The tickets from the Ticket Booth Die were perfect for adding sentiments.

My second card I fell in love with the Airplane Ride Die. How stinkin cute is it...LOVE IT!

For the leaves of the rosette cluster I used the Orchid Flower Leaves and it really finished off the cluster perfect.  This collection is just so much fun and I know you'll have fun playing with them yourself.

See ya next week,

Ready for the Journey

Hi, My name is Lori and I am a happy fun loving Southern girl who lives in Western North Carolina.  I’m blessed to have two precious little boys who are the light of my life, fun as they are, they do exhaust me.   I’m truly in love with my family and God and feel so blessed everyday to have been given this great life.  I adore crafting and have always been involved in the arts in one form or another…I started with pottery in high school,  moved to metal in college and then switched to paper crafting 10 years ago when my first son was born.  I still love to incorporate metal and other mediums into my paper crafting every chance I can get.  One of the things I love the most about my life is where I live….right next door to my best friend, my sister Gini.  We share a passion for scrapping and look forward to tomorrow because you’ll get to meet her then, she’s the best.  We are so thrilled to be able to share this design team experience together…what a journey it will be.

Today I created this lovely little circle card using  Pink Peony Flower and Ornate Circle Frame dies and  The Made with Love stamp set.  I adore making handmade flowers and the Peony die was so much fun to work with.

Remember to stay tuned tomorrow for Gini’s post…her project is adorable!!!! It’s a must see.
Hugs,
