Hello Cute Witchy Die Cut Card

Happy Tuesday crafty friends,
I hope you are having a wonderful day. Today I am sharing a super cute, quick and easy card I created featuring some fun Cottage Cutz dies! Here's what I created.

My cute and quick card is a standard 4.24 x 5.5 top folding card.

Here's a closer look at the fun hello card. Hello comes from the Spring die cut collection.

Here's a closer look at the cute little pumpkin. I used some glossy accents in the eye nose and mouth to give it a little extra sparkle and shine.

Here's a closer look at the darling little witchy. You can see after coloring her in, I used some Stickles glitter glue for some extra decorative touches.

Here are the pieces of the Witchy die cut. I started with white pieces and then used y markers to color her.

Hello Slimline Card With Flower 1 New Release

Hello Cottage Cutz Friends!
Melinda here with you, and today I am sharing a pretty slimline card I created with the amazing new Flowers & More release from Cottage Cutz!
Okay, I don't say this too often, but this release is a MUST HAVE for your creative collection! Sooooo many fantastic dies in this new release! Here is my project for today!
I created this simple yet pretty card featuring the Flower 1 die from the new release! It is such a great sized die and very, very easy to put together.

Here's a closer look at the two flowers. I cut them both out in plain white cardstock. I then colored them in with my markers.

For the base of the card, I started with a piece of white cardstock measuring 7x8.5". I scored and folded it to make it a side folding card base measuring 3.5 x 8.5". I then cut a piece of pink cardstock for a mat. I cut that 1/8" inch smaller than the base. I then cut out the largest scallop stitched slimline die from that set and then two of the rectangle stitched slimline dies from that set all in white cardstock. I then cut two mats for the larger two bases. One in the patterned red paper and then in the same pink patterned paper. For the smallest stitched rectangle, I left it plain. I then layered all of them together adding foam tape under the scallop stitched mat and the second stitched rectangle mat to give them just a little lift. I then put the pretty flowers on the card and added some sequins.

Here's a closer look at the bottom portion of my card.
To finish off my card, I cut out the smallest double stitched oval die from that basic set and the word hello from the hello spring bunny cottage die from last spring's release. I cut both of them out in white cardstock and then used the same color red marker to color in my hello so that it would match my flower.

The card came together quickly and can be reproduced easily! Here is a look at the fabulous collection!

Spring

Hi everyone welcome Monday.  I am here sharing my card using Hello Spring Bunny Cottage.

I scored my white card to 5x6 and then used a gingham patterned paper to cover my card front.

I die cut the pieces on XpressIT paper and colored the images using my copics but not all the images

I used teal cardstock to mat the cottage with to bring the color to life and then colored the rooftop and door with my copics.

Lollipop Box and Cards Set

Happy Terrific TuesDIE Scrapping Cottage friends!
Melinda here with you for another fun Tuesday. My project features a couple of dies from the marvelous new SPRING RELEASE along with some others!  Here's what I created.

I created a set of three 4.25 x 4.25 note cards and a little "Lolli Box"

To create the Lolli Box

I started with a square piece of paper that measures 3.75". I scored it on all four sides at 1.25"
Once all four sides are scored, I proceeded to make some cuts.

Here is how I trimmed it. I cut a slit up to the first line on the score line that is to the right. I then snipped a slight angle off on both sides of the corner. Then I turned the piece a quarter turn to the right and repeated this process. I did for all four sides. I also trimmed just a bit off of each corner. This way it will fold up much easier and remain flush.

Once all the cutting was done, I added adhesive to the opposite side of the cut flaps. See photo. Notice the tabs are bent forward. You can see the adhesive and the way I cut them at an angle.

I then layered a white home onto a kraft cardstock home. The only reason I did this is so that looking at the finished box from the back side will make this seem much more cohesive.

Here I am coloring the bird houses.

Here's a view of the box once it is assembled. It does fit the lollipop pretty good. It is a tootsie roll lollipop.

Here is where I added mats to 3 of the sides. There are just 1" mats.

Here's a look as I was assembling the die pieces to create the adorable Bunny Cottage. Once I finished, I glued it to the front of the box.

Here is the finished Lollibox. I added the "tree and sign" from the Spring Chicken die set. The top of the tree is from the Carrot House die. I cut it out in some cute Doodlebug patterned paper.

Here's a closer look at the Pink Home. I put a sweet little brown bunny in this one. I added some dew drops to the top left corner of each card. Just for a little something extra~

Here's a closer look at the Purple Home. I went with a gray bunny here.

Here is a closeup of the card with the Yellow home. I did another little brown bunny here.

Here is one last look at the cards and the Lolli box. I think this set turned out very nice.
