Summer Birthdays

Hi Friends

I have so many friends and family who have birthdays in the summer! So I am getting a little head start with this cute cupcake card! I am using the Pedestal Stand w/Cupcakes and the Trellis Background.  It is so cheerful and bright! I just love it!

Design Steps:
1. Use an A2 white card base, cut a large Pierced Rectangle Frame in white, cut the Trellis Background in white also.
2.  Use the Pedestal Stand w/Cupcakes and cut out the following colors of card stock: light pink, dark pink, turquoise, red, light green, dark green (leaves), silver, cream, dark brown and light purple.  Assemble the cupcakes with a fine tip glue
3.  Glue the Trellis to the front of the A2 card base and then glue down the large frame
4.  Glue the silver pedestal together as shown above
5.  Add the cupcakes, sentiment and the sequin to complete your card

Love You Mom

Hello Friends

I am making a few Mother's Day cards for our church's annual boutique sale.  I decided to go with a slimline design to best display all of the fun dies I used.  The dies for this card are Pumps MiniElegant Hat Box and Love You Mom Phrase.

Design Steps:
1.  Using the following dies Pumps MiniLove You Mom Phrase and Elegant Hat Box cut out the following colors of card stock: Pink, black, white, green and silver.  Assemble with a fine time glue.  I cut out 5 additional large pink flowers, 2 additional small flowers and one additional white flower for decoration
2.  The card base is white 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 folded, use the Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Slimline die and cut out the black layer glue to the card base.  Use the Windows Slimline  die and cut out a piece of white card stock.  Cut out a piece of polka dot pink DP 2 7/8 x 7 7/8 and glue it to the back of the windows slimline.  Then glue to the black scallop rectangle as shown above
3.  To the top window glue down the hat stand and then glue on the hat
4.  Glue the sentiment plus a flower to the center window as shown above
5.  On the bottom window glue the shoes to the top of the hat box as shown above
6.  Add some additional flowers and rhinestones and your card is complete

Easter Critters

Hello Friends

Just finishing up my Easter cards.  This one will probably go to my great niece and nephew.  I am using several dies for this card.  The dies are Spring Bunny with Giant Carrot, Hatching Bunny Chick and Spring Chickee in Basket.  I decided to make it a slimline using the Windows Slimline and Pinking Shear Edge Slimline.

Design Steps:

1.  Use a white card base measuring 9 x 4, cut a piece of blue 8 7/8 x 3 7/8, cut a piece of white using the Pinking Shear Edge slimline die, cut a piece of checked DP 2 7/8 x 8 and using the Window Slimline cut a piece of blue.  Glue the blue to the card base and then glue down the white piece with the pinking shear edge
2.  Using the following dies Spring Bunny with Giant Carrot, Hatching Bunny Chick and Spring Chickee in Basket and cut these colors of card stock: green, light yellow, bright yellow, orange, light pink, dark pink, white and blue.  Assemble with fine tip glue
3. Using the Window slimline glue the animals in place as shown above.  Then glue the plaid DP to the back of the window and glue to the card front as shown below
4.  Decorate with added flowers, leaves and ladybugs.  Add the sentiment and rhinestones and your card is complete
