CottageCutz Focus Week-Holiday Treat Holders

Hello everyone and welcome to the final day of our Holiday Treat Holder Focus week!  It's Carol here today.  For the last project I wanted to share this really sweet Owl in Pumpkin die.  This treat holder is an altered Glassine bag.  To create, just use some pretty fall papers, a spellbinders oval die, and a Martha Stewart Border punch glue to the top and bottom.  A little seam binding ribbon and a tiny clothespin will top off the embellishments.  Aren't these cute?
There small but no worries.  You want to know why?   They are going to be placed at the table at each place setting and they will hold a "little" treat.  Want to know what it is????  lol  Well how about some movie tickets for Thanksgiving evening.  Isn't that fun.  After dinner, football, and washing dishes what better way to spend the evening watching a great movie.  This little holder is the perfect surprise.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Sure to appreciate it.  Be sure to leave a comment for your last chance at the prize today.  Happy Crafting!

CottageCutz Focus Week-Holdiay Treat Holders

Hello friends and crafters. It's Carol here.  Today is a fun project share for the CottageCutz Focus week featuring Holiday Treat Holders.   These fun treat boxes are what is called a Pyramid Box which creates this fun tree shaped box.  The front of the box opens once you untie the ribbon at top and can be filled with goodies and/or a gift card.  Super cute and a fun way to give a gift.
This box uses the CottageCutz Wind Up Mouse die.  All the poinsettia are the CottageCutz Poinsettia and Holly die.  The December 25th stamp is from this year's Michael's dollar bin.  The star is a marvey punch on gold glitter paper.
The tree bases are empty thread spools.  They are altered with gold glitter washi tape and glued in the middle on the bottom of the boxes.  The trim around the box is a Martha Stewart Border punch with gold bling glued on top.
This box features the CottageCutz Holiday Reindeer die.  All dies were cut with various colored cardstock and paper pieced.
The last box features the Snowman Cupcake Die from Cottagecutz.  He is super adorable.  I love his peppermint buttons.  He was shaded with a couple Copic markers in B000 and B001
This is how the box looks when it is untied and opened.  It holds a good bit of items depending on what you place inside.
Thank you so much for stopping by for some Holiday Treat Holder inspiration.  It was a pleasure to share with you some ideas.  Until next time.....Happy Crafting.  Here are the dies used.

CottageCutz Focus Week - Holiday Treat Holders

Hello everyone from Olena, and welcome to CottageCutz Focus Week

On the CottageCutz blog we will be sharing Holiday Treat Holders, leave a comment as you will be entered to WIN a Gift Certificate to the Scrapping Cottage Store.

For my HolidayTreat Holders I used a clear plastic treat bags from local craft store, CottageCutz " Frosty Friends Border" die from Holiday 2015 collection and candy.

First, cut piece of red paper to 3" x 3.1/2" and fold crease to make base for top of treat holder. Next, cut border out using white card stock, sponge with blue craft ink and glue to red background. Glue background to clear bag with double tape. Very easy project for school.

Don't forget to put candy to the bag.

Hello everyone, and welcome to CottageCutz Focus Week!
On the CottageCutz blog we will be sharing Holiday Treat Holders, leave a comment as you will be entered to WIN a Gift Certificate to the Scrapping Cottage Store.

Cheryl here today with 2 treat holders I made!

For my Thanksgiving Treat Holders I used a piece of card stock scored it 3 times to make a triangle type holder. Put a slit in the top, so it could hold a candy, super easy!

To decorate the front I used the DARLING "On The Farm" Release from the Scrapping Cottage, and then colored them with copics. Added some flowers, and ribbon and done!

All CottageCutz Die photo's are linked below. Please just click on one of the photo's to take you to tat item :)

For the tree here above I used the Airbrushing system with copic markers.

For the tree above, I used some paints to give it a different look

Thank you for looking, and have a lovely day!
Hugs,
Cheryl

CottageCutz Focus Week-Holiday Treat Holders

Hello every and welcome to a project for Focus Week at CottageCutz.  It's Carol here today. We are making Holiday Treat Holders for inspiration for the week.  This treat holder is fun, fast, and inexpensive.  It's made with a paper bag.  If you would like to see how to create this I have an explanation here.
The paper bag is folded and stitched, then layered with paper and embellishments.  You can fill both pockets with candy, or just one pocket and make a fun tag for the other pocket.  All the treat holders have the North Pole Tag Topper and the Poinsettia & Holly die.  This treat bag uses the Merry Christmas Filigree Die.
For this treat bag the CottageCutz Santa Giving Gifts die is the main focal point.  Don't you just love that Santa peeking out of the pocket.  He looks so super cute.  If you are thinking of making these the Santa's come from Walmart-3 for a dollar.
For this treat holder has the CottageCutz Santa with Tree die.  The designer paper used for these treat bags is Authentique named "Believe".
Last but not least, this treat bag holder uses the Elf with Toys die.  All the dies were cut with cardstock and only distress inks were used to highlight them.  Thank you so much for joining me today and viewing these treat bag holders.  Just want to share a little inspiration to help you with your gift giving needs.  Until next time......Happy Crafting.  Here are the dies used.
