CottageCutz Victtorian Teapot

Greetings friends and papercrafters.  For today's CottageCutz creation is this gorgeous teapot card using the Victorian Teapot from the Victorian Die release.  My heart just goes pitter patter whenever I think about using teapots and cups for papercrafting projects.
For this card, a small chipboard teapot shaped mini album was used to trace the teapot onto lightweight chipboard (cereal box).  The teapot was covered with pretty designer paper on both sides.  The Victorian teapot was mounted on the CottageCutz Tea Time Doily.   The Vine Flourish was used to accent the roses.
The little button on the teapot lid was something I found in my stash. The steam flowing from the teapot was painted with glue and glittered. Victorian Velvet was the color of the distress ink used on this card.  Thank you so much for stopping by today to view this creation.  It is appreciated very much.  Until next time, Happy Crafting.  See you again soon.  Here are the dies used:

Lock and Key

Hi all. Vladka here today!
I still have some dies from Victorian release which I didn't show you yet and today it is time for Victorian Lock and Keys. Keys are strong symbol and can open the door, our soul, heart or mind. And most of the time we alone are the solutions of our problems. But it takes time sometimes to figure this out and this is the same as with keys as this quote says.
Lock and key are cut out from gray card stock and I added some Glossy Accents to get shine look. For a little color I also added a little heart.
This is it for today. I wish you great day!

Todays card is for SCS challenge Free for all, we are to use the word JUNE for our recipe recipe, so I used the letters for each items below.
J=June card(1 of them)
U=Underwater fun
N=Neon Fish
E=Echo Park Design Paper/Embellishment (Double Points??) hehehehe

I cut both of the CottageCutz fish using white card stock, and I flipped the 1 fish so it was facing the other fish. I thought it would be cute that way.
  • Fish are airbrushed using copics-B29,R39,YR09,YG05,RV23,Y08
  • For the water I used-BG15,B04BG72,BG23
I thought this design paper was super cute, and just had to use it for this card. I added a bit of sewing, and some ribbons, buttons, and a worm for the fish to feast on...hehehe

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs

CottageCutz post - Hello card

Hello Everyone!!!

  Today I am sharing with you my new Summer card I created with beautiful
 NEW Tropical Release.

For this project I used "Flamingo" and "Hibiscus Flower" dies.

First, I made hot beach background using different colors of cardstock.

Then, I cut "Flamingo" and "Hibiscus Flower "out couple times using pink and cream cardstock. For sun I used regular circle punch. Glued all cutting parts on beach background. After all, I stamped sentiment and decorated with rhinestones.

CottageCutz A Walk in the Park

Hi there CottageCutz lovers!!!   Today's card is CottageCutz die overload!!!  But-it's a scene created of daydreams of spending a day in the park.
Let's take a look at the back panel.   It's the lovely Bella Spring Tree all in bloom with pretty pink flowers.  It's framed with the pretty Ornate Fence die.  The Springtime Bicycle has been leaned against the fence.  The Fancy Daisy Vine was used for the greenery against the fence.
In front to the tree is the comfy and inviting Victorian Bench.  For the pretty grass and flowers the Spring Meadow Border was used.  The Elegant Arbor is framing the Victorian Bench.  To the right of the Victorian Bench is the Vintage Street Lamp.  Perfect for staying in the park after dusk.  In the front we have Mama Goose to round out the Park Scene.
Some days you just have to let your mind take you where the dies are calling.  Hope you have enjoyed your visit.  Be sure to check out The Scrapping Cottage for all the dies you need to create your fantasy scene.  Until next time, Happy Crafting.  See you soon.  Here are the dies used:

Rainbow Butterfly

Hi all. Vladka here today!
Victorian release still occupies my mind. It contains so much beautiful dies and this Fancy Victorian Butterfly is one of them. Because it is so big, it can be the focal point and I decided to cut it out of different color cardstock to get this rainbow effect.
I like how dimensional turns this out. For a card base, I used cream cardstock, added the whole butterfly on it and stamped the sentiment. And of course, I could not resist to use little heart.
This is it for today, I wish you all great start in new week.
