Hedgehog Gift Card Holder

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I have a quick post today with an adorable Hedgehog Gift Card Holder!  Wouldn't this be perfect for a boy's birthday gift?

I used the Large Confectionery Bag to make the pocket using Sports Mat Pad (K & Co) that is double sided with the orange on the inside.  The tag is the Fancy Insert Tag die cut with blue card stock.  I decorated it with the adorable Hedgehog Mini and Round Mini Balloons using scraps of black, browns, yellow, and orange card stock.  The sentiment is Teeny Tiny Wishes from Stampin' Up.  I inked the edges of the tag and all the die cut pieces with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and used Natural Jute from Really Reasonable Ribbon for tie on the tag.

Here's a photo of it inside the holder.

CottageCutz Sweet Cupid

Hello everyone, today I made a card using the beautiful CottageCutz Filigree Cupid from the "Sweet Love" Release. LOVE this beautiful release and all the beautiful CottageCutz dies in it.

for my Cupid I cut it in white, and then added some SU! Glitter to it. Next I cut the beautiful "Sweet Love Doily" in Pink and then layered a scalloped circle and then a circle on top of it. For the CottageCutz Love Blooms, I cut it in Pink as well and then used the same glitter for on top of it. I LOVE the look it gives to both the cupid and the Love blooms.

Next I used the CottageCutz Sweetheart Border, its one of my Favorite borders. I LOVE the way it frames the layers. So I cut 4 pieces and then glued them to my layer for this card.

Lastly I added some sewing to my layers, and then some pearls to the corners. Super simple card, as I made this just a few moments ago :)

All photo's are linked to the Scrapping Cottage Store
and will take you to each CottageCutz.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!!
Hugs to all!!
Cheryl

CottageCutz Valentine Card

Hello friends!! It's Carol here today. With Valentine's day fast approaching it's time to share some creations featuring the CottageCutz  Sweet Love Collection.  What beautiful lacy dies they are.  For my card I used the Elegant Love Heart, Sweet Love Doily, Sweetheart Border, and Sweet Flourish.  Doesn't it look so lacy!  I used some glittered roses and flower bling I picked up at Michael's.  And the other thing I wanted to mention was how ADORABLE that Sweet Love Doily is.  It has the works Love, Kisses, and Hugs designed into it.  That is just to cute for words!
Thanks for visiting today.  It was great to have you stop by.  Wishing you love, and joy and most of all creative happiness and inspriation.  Until next time-Bear Hugs and Kitty Kisses!  Here are the dies I used:

Flourish Love Heart

Hi, Vladka here today!

It is so nice when you walk to the hills, and you see small, cute, idyllic cottages. Here in Slovenia they mostly have a red and white checkered patterns on curtains and shutters or doors have carved heart in the middle.

I´ve used only the part of the shutters where the heart is located. I cut it out twice - first piece I colored with red Distress Ink, and left the second one as it was. I also cut out the shape of the heart from the card base to get the opening. Then I  glued the first die cut on the front side of the card and the second one inside of the card, but not directly on the red one but a little bit on the side. For this I used a brand new die from CottageCutz  Sweet Love release: Flourish Love Heart. Sentiment is stamped on one part of the Homemade Tag die cut. I like this wooden look of the card, I hope you like it too.
Have a great day.

I Love You

Hello crafty friends from Simona.

Here is another card from the LOVE series cards... :)
To make this card I used again gorgeous NEW dies
and

All the dies were cut out from designer paper and plain
red card stock. Then I glued the peaces together.

I glued the hearts together only in the center
to achieve a 3D effect.

For the background I used some designer paper
from my stash.

As a final touch I added a strip of card cut out
with the Martha Stewart edge heart punch and drew
the dots with the white gel pen.

Hope you enjoyed today's post.
Have a great day and see you next time :)

Hugs,
Simona

Sweet Flourish

Happy Sunday everyone!

I have a new card for you today using one of the new CottageCutz dies, Sweet Flourish,  from the Sweet Love Release!

There are lots of dies in this new collection that I love, but I really like using this Sweet Flourish all by itself for a clean and simple look!  I cut the die cut and made the card base using Early Espresso Cardstock.  The mat is Cherish Designer Paper by Authentique that I cut so the flowered sentiment would be in the top right corner.  I then stamped a sentiment (Well Scripted by Stampin Up) on on the bottom right using Dark Chocolate Ink by Palette.   I added a small piece of Early Espresso to go across the card under the piece of lace trim, then the Sweet Flourish piece.  Petal Pink Liquid Pearls were added to the hearts on the Sweet Flourish, then a bow and pearl brad to finish.

Here's a close up of the Sweet Flourish for you!
