CottageCutz Nutcracker

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday to all! Today's card features the sweet CottageCutz Nutcracker! I absolutely Love this one. I also used the CottageCutz Winter Pine Branch

For the Nutcracker I cut him out all in white card stock, and then colored the pieces with copics. He was super easy to put together. I love the colors of Christmas and thought he would look perfect in Red & Green, with Gold accents.

Next the CottageCutz Winter Pine Branch was cut using AC card stock in 2 different greens. I then added some flowers on top. The design paper is layered with MS border punches, and I love the look it gives to the layers on here. No Ribbon on this card. I added buttons instead :) heheheheh

I LOVE all the CottageCutz Christmas dies that have been released for this year too. They are all soo Beautiful!!! Also be sure to check out the Winter Release found HERE!

CottageCutz Winter Cardinal in the Snow

Holly Jolly greetings to you my dear friends.  It's Carol here today and I would like to share with you a CottageCutz creation made with the Winter Cardinal die, Winter Pine Branch die, Winter Pinecone Die, and Elegant Holly Corner Die. Are you dreaming of a white Christmas?  We don't get a white Christmas here in the South.  As a matter of fact, it was 80 degrees here on Saturday.  So I have to find creative ways to make my creations look snowy and frosty so I can enjoy a white Christmas.

 

For flowers and leaves I used lots of snow and glitter.  The pine-cones also have brown sparkly glitter.  I painted the greenery on the Winter Cardinal die with smooch paint.  This was so fun to create.  Thanks so much for dropping by during you busy Christmas preparations.  I sure do appreciate it.  See you soon.  Here are the dies I used:

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Hi, all! Vladka here!

I just can´t wait for perfect night with a lot of snow, when everything is so peaceful and beautiful. Till then, I have this little card, which I made from white cardstock and just one Scrapping Cottage die: Snow Swept Border. This card also can be some kind of continuation of Simona´s card in previous post. On her card, Santa is flying through the night and here deer observe this. :) 

I cut it out twice. From the first die cut, I cut out the deer and all trees and colored them with Distress Inks and added them to second die cut. I also colored the card background and stamped it with snowflakes. And here it is:

Santa & Reindeer Flying

Here I am with my 1st December post for

The Scrapping Cottage Blog.

This handmade card is so simple and quick  and you can

easily mass produce it. You really don't need much
to create special handmade cards for your loved ones...

Today on 6 of December we celebrate Saint Nicholas Day.

I read in a WikipediA (The Free Encyclopedia on the Web),

 this is a festival for children in many

countries in Europe (19 December in most Orthodox countries).

First I stamped the white cardstock with the snowflake 

background stamp. I used VersaMark pad and 

sprinkled clear embossing powder over it.

Then I heated the embossing powder with the heat gun.

For the moon I cut out a circle with the circle punch and

used the double sided tape to stick it onto the background cardstock.

Then I used Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink pad to sponge/color

the whole cardstock. After I finished coloring I removed the

circle and wiped gently the whole background with a clean paper tissue.

For the top layer I used quarter of an inch larger white cardstock

and a Spellbinders Labels Twenty Five die to cut out the window 

(you can use any die you have at home to cut out the window). 

Before I glued the top layer onto the card with 

3D square foams I dry embossed it with the 

dot folder and distress the edges with the Tim Holtz distress tool.

At the end I added Santa & Reindeer Flying cut out and stamped

Wishing you a magical Christmas sentiment on the inside 

of the card. I used the red cardstock for the Santa die and 

distressed the edges with distress ink black sooth.

Hello Friends! Happy Day, today I have a new post

for you, this time I created a Christmas gift tag also

Elegant Reindeer gift tag

Hello Everyone from Olena!

  Today I am sharing an Elegant Reindeer gift tag I created with beautiful 
CottageCutz Collections of dies.

 

 For this project I used Fancy Insert tag and Elegant Reindeer dies.

 

 First, I cut tag out using red card stock. Then, I created winter scene on tag using snowflakes stamp and glitter and glue for snow. Next, I cut reindeer out, sponged the edges with light blue craft ink and glued on the tag using foam tape. I, also, added  ribbon and embellishments to tag front as shown in picture above.

Grandma's Goodies Tag

Happy Monday everyone!  It's Kathy here with you today with a cute gift tag I made using the Fancy Insert Card/Tag and In the Kitchen Clear Stamps by Cottage Impressions!

This tag die comes in handy for lots of things and I thought it would be perfect as a tag for baked goodies!  I LOVE the images from this stamp set, they're so cute and fun to color!  (Unfortunately, I just realized the stamp set is retired now!)

Here's a close up of the pie and cookbook images.

Aren't they cute?  I stamped them on white cardstock with black ink and colored them with pencils.  I then fussy cut them which was very easy, and inked the edges a little with black.

I die cut the tag using Visions of Christmas paper by K & Co. stamped it with "Grandma's Goodies" sentiment from the set, and inked the edges with brown ink.  I added the images to the tag with pop dots and added some baby rick rack.  I punched a hole in the tag and added some white jute for a tie and then added a bow, button and twine.

Santa´s Chair

Hi, Vladka here. 

Do you wondering where is Santa, when you are looking at this card? He is in his workshop of course. He doesn´t have time to relax now. But after Christmas, this will be his favorite place again. But till then, he needs to organize all gifts and deliver them to all good children and adults.

Also for this card, I used different Scrapping Cottage dies:  Santa's Chair & Boots, Holly Berry Shape and  the sign from Homemade Christmas Gift Set.
