Jolly Penguin

Happy Friday everyone!

Kathy with you and today I have a Christmas card I made using the Jolly Penguin CottageCutz Die from The Scrapping Cottage!

Aren't these little guys cute delivering presents on their sleigh?  I love the little one sitting on the sleigh with his candy cane!

I used a bunch of different colored cardstocks for the die pieces and a little bit of designer paper called Botanical Noel by Recollections.  I inked and shaped most of the pieces before gluing them together.  I added an extra sleigh to go under the sentiment and added some adhesive pearls to embellish it.  I embossed the upper part of the white mat with Perfect Polka Dots to make it look like it was snowing behind the penguins, I then matted it with Ruby Red Cardstock from Bazzills and popped it on a green card base using Forest by Coredinations.

Here is a picture of the Jolly Penguin Die I used.

It's A Boy...

Hello everyone from Simona!

For today's post on The Scrapping Cottage Blog
I prepared a card for a new baby boy with
beautiful mix of CottageCutz dies:

I love making baby cards... :).
All the dies were cut out of white cardstock and
colored with Distress Ink Pads. I love the color effect
you get with this technique of coloring.

Here is a close up photo of beautiful CottageCutz die cuts.
The CottageCutz dies are so easy to use and it doesn't matter
if you use only a single die or you mix and match few of them,
you always end up with a beautiful result.

Do you know someone who is expecting a baby or just had a baby?
Hope you feel inspired to give it a try to CottageCutz dies.
They won't disappoint you... :).
Once you'll try them you'll be hooked on them... :).

Thank you for stopping by today!

Hugs,
Simona

Build-A-Christmas Stocking Tussy Mussy

Hello everyone, Cheryl here today with 3 Tussy Mussys I made for a 12 day of Christmas swap i'm in. For these 3 I used the CottageCutz Build- a -Christmas Stocking, and the CottageCutz Winterland Holly. LOVE the look of these. I will be adding some candy inside of all my Tussy Mussy's/

The tussy mussy was made using the Toilet Paper Rolls, I covered them in design paper around the outside and also added design paper on the inside of the top part. Next I added some really reasonable Ribbon Brown Crocheted lace, and Brown Seam Binding, and then added the stocking and Holly, and lastly the ribbon bow and tag. My CottageCutz Build-A-Christmas Stocking was colored with copics and then I added some Glitter to the top part of my stockings.

I have others that I have made for this swap, a total of 13, and will have to share them later :)

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

CottageCutz Thanksgiving Placecards

Greetings everyone. It's Carol here today.   Thanksgiving is fast approaching.  I wanted to show you some placecards that are made with the beautiful Fall Harvest 2013 CottageCutz release.  These were so fun to make.  This placecard used the Harvest Oak Leaf, Elegant Harvest Leaf, Harvest Leaf, Harvest Vine, Fall Owl Border, and the Filigree Pumpkin Vine.
The dies for this one are the Harvest Vine, Fall Tree, Winter Wonderland Deer, and Fall Owl Border.
This place card features the Harvest Vine, Fall Owl Border, Harvest Sunflower, and Cat on Pumpkin dies.

For this place card the dies are Harvest Vine, Fall Owl Border, Harvest Oak Leaf, Elegant Harvest Leaf, Harvest Leaf, and Hoot Owl.
As you can see you can make all of these coordinate together by using the same design, color, and cardstock.  You can personalize them by using different die cuts.  Wouldn't these look great on you table.  Thanks so much for visiting today.  I really appreciate it.  Happy Crafting!  Here are the dies used:

Autumn wreaths

Hi, Vladka here!

I adore wreaths. They can be symbol of victory, hope, eternity and a lot more. But mostly we use wreaths for decoration, especially in autumn and winter time. Did you made some already?  I did, from paper and not just one, I made two :)

One is already on card and second is waiting. Maybe I will add twine and hang it somewhere in my flat or I will use it on another card.
The one on a card is embellished a little bit more. Here I used Build-A-Grapvine Wreath die and also added some more leaves cut from: Leaf Mini, Maple Leaf Mini, Oak Leaf Mini and some greenery cut with Harvest Fall Corner die.

Great week to everyone!

Beautiful Fall Farm Scene

Hello everyone, and Happy Sunday!
Today's card was designed forThe Scrapping Cottage using the Beautiful CottageCutz Farm Fall Die & Really Reasonable Ribbon's Seam binding/Hemp/and buttons.

I absolutely Love this fall scene, and think dusting the background just gives it a little added color. I used Really Reasonable Ribbons Seam binding in brown, and an orange color. Next I love the look of the hemp ran around the front of my card and over the scene. I did add a nice layered hemp bow over it. I also ran the hemp through the button, to look like it was sewn on.
