Romantic cage

Hello everybody, Vladka here again!

In the past all kind of photos with different motives were my inspiration for creating cards or any other projects. It was time to search again. Actually I didn´t search, I just saw this one and idea was here.

Cage is cut out with Whimsy Bird Cage die and it is embellished with trellis and flowers, cut out with Trellis and Vines die. I wanted to create romantic and nostalgic look and also Fancy Floral Scroll die helps me wit it. Die cut combination with white card stock seems perfect combination. I like the gentle look of the card at the end. I hope you do too.
Have a nice day!

Flying by with a Merry Christmas Hi!

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with CottageCutz Flying Kris Kringle! He is sooo cute I just had to use him for my card here today.

I cut all the pieces out in white and then colored with copics. I find that shading is easier that way for me. However on the CottageCutz Elegant Holly Corners I did cut those in green and then distressed them with a duster and ink. The Merry Christmas is from the Newly Released "Homemade Christmas Gift Set" found here, I also colored it with red copic markers.

My double bow was designed using Really Reasonable Ribbon, and then a santa hat button.

All photo's below are linked to the Scrapping Cottage Store!

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

CottageCutz post - Felt Mittens card

Hello Everyone from Olena.

Today I am sharing a Cute Red Felt Mittens card I created with Beautiful

For this card I used red and white felt from craft store (Jo-Ann).
I cut out 4 times the mitten using red and white felt. The white top part of mitten I did sew to red mittens using red thread.

Then, I did sew the baker's twine to the top of mittens. Decorate mittens with craft glitter.

I, also, used Beautiful Doily die cut for my card.

Hello Everyone from Olena.

Jolly Cardinal

Happy Thursday everyone!

Kathy with you and today I have a Christmas card using a new CottageCutz die called "Jolly Cardinal". Is he cute or what?

I just LOVE birds, and cardinals are definitely one of my favorites! As soon as I saw this little guy, I know I HAD to have it! I love the scarf and little ear muffs, too cute!

Using the Jolly Cardinal Die, I die cut red for the body and green and white for the branch. The remaining pieces were cut with white cardstock and colored with chalk inks.

I used aqua for the card base and red and white for the mats. The white mat was embossed on the upper portion only, stamped with a sentiment, distressed a little and glued to the red mat. Then I added ribbon and popped the mat on the card base. To finish the card I added a snowflake button and a bakers twine bow!

Here's a little close up of the Jolly Cardinal! So cute!

Fancy Floral Corner and Buttreflies

Hi, Vladka here! This time I want to show you something more romantic. I think that Fancy Floral dies are perfect for those who love to create more romantic and gentle projects and are perfect accessories also for LO. I used two dies: Fancy Floral Corner #2 and Butterflies. I didn´t use a lot of colours on purpose, just white and cream.
For stamping on the background and for distressing I used Old Paper Distress Ink and this little heart I "steal" from Trellis and Vines die cut. So, this could be perfect card for some romantic soul or for wedding.

I´m sending you the best wishes from the Croatian coast, where I´m spending my vacation. Have a great day!
