Yum, More Christmas Cookies

Hi, Lois here with my last Christmas card of the year.  A couple of weeks ago I made a card using the CottageCutz ornament dies and Peachy Keen face stamps, dishing up a plate of gingerbread cookies.   After I made the card, I thought, "Wouldn't it be fun to have someone take a bite out of one of those cookies?"  Thus, the idea for today's card was born.

Supplies for this card:

Cream cardstock base (pre-cut) 10" x 6 1/2", folded in half
Green cardstock - 4 3/4" x 6 1/4"
Patterned paper - 4 5/8" x 6 1/8"
Kraft cardstock
Red cardstock (scraps)
Green cardstock (scraps)
Kraft-colored cardboard
White detail embossing powder
Versamark ink
Doily
White gel pen
Red craft paint and brush
Scallop Circle punch

Cut three of the smallest star ornaments and three of the smallest circle ornaments from Kraft cardstock; then cut six of each from the cardboard.

Using the punch, cut out the "bite marks" from one Kraft circle and two cardboard circles -- ensuring that the punches are the same size.  Then "build" the cookies by gluing two cardboard pieces and one Kraft piece together.   After stamping and embossing the faces on each of the cookies, add some extra icing with a white gel pen.  Paint a touch of red on the candy canes.

Cut the holly leaves and sentiment.

Construct the card, leaving an open space on the doily to show that the cookie had originally been there.

Merry Christmas

Hello everyone!

It's Donna here again with CottageCutz  and Peachy Keen Stamps to celebrate their new release of face stamps that work well with the CottageCutz Christmas ornament dies. TWO NEW SIZES of Face Stamps have been added to their release, 1 5/8" and 1 7/8" to fit the super fun ornaments by CottageCutz. Please stop over at Peachy Keen Stamps because Kathy is offering some promotional pricing on her new stamps sets that will go perfectly with the CottageCutz dies.

Here is my card using the Peachy Keen stamp sets Ornament 1 1/8" Face Set.  I am using the Cottagecutz Nested Ornaments: Star.  I am using the smallest star of the set.

Here is how I put my card together:
  1. The card is an A2 card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,
  2. The black layer is 4 x 5,
  3. The next layer is 3 7/8 x 4 7/8, I embossed the branches and added some wink of stella to give it some dimension,
  4. The star ornament is die cut from the smallest die in the Nested Ornaments: Star set,
  5. I colored the  face with copics. I used YG13 for the eyes, YR68 for the nose, and R29 for the mouth.  The cheeks I used R00,
  6.  finished my card off by adding the sentiment by CottageCutz "Merry Christmas".

Closer look at the star ornament, I added some clear wink o stella around the edges.

Lantern with holly

Hi everyone, Janja here!

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love all the events and moments that come along with Christmas. New release of Christmas dies are already available. They are so beautiful. For sure you will like them.
As the first one I chose the die lantern with holly vine.

For the card we need:
- white card base: 5.3 x 5.3" (13,5 x 13,5 cm)
- patterned paper: 5 x 5" (12,7 x 12,7 cm)
- patterned paper with the appearance of wood
- white and color cardstock
- Distress ink: Rusty Hinge, Barn Door, Aged Mahogany, Lawn Mowed, Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo,  Walnut Stain
- Memento ink: Cantaloupe, London Fog
- white pigment pad
- glossy accents
- crackle clear paint
- embossing ink pad and transparent embossing powder with glitter
- double-sided foam tape

We cut out all the elements available by the die lantern with holly vine and shadow them.

Sprinkle the sentiment Merry Christmas and lantern with transparent embossing powder with glitter, and treat them with hot embossing technique. On red holly berries apply a few dots of glossy accents.

Shadow the patterned paper with yellow and gray ink on the place where we attach lantern. We will use it for the background of a card.
Now we start with the frame. Choose a patterned paper with the appearance of wood. Cut it out by the size of 4.65 x 4.65" (11,8 x 11,8 cm). In the middle, cut out the opening with the largest die of the square set
Cut the frame in diagonal lines and shadow all four sides of the frame with Distress ink: Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain. Re-assemble the frame.
In the end coat the frame with a crackle clear paint.

Brush the surface of the frame with a sponge here and there with white color. Apply it also to lantern and sentiment.
All the elements for the card are now prepared. It only remains to assemble the card.
To begin assembling the card first apply adhesive foam tape to the back of the frame. If we look on the card from the side, we see the foam tape, so color it with matching color of the frame.
Composed card.

Christmas Memories Album/Video

Hello everyone Cheryl here  today , and I'm sharing my entire "Our Family Christmas Memories" Mini Album, using LOTS of CottageCutz Christmas Dies.
For the front cover I used the Sweet CottageCutz "Santa & Friends" Die, along with the Fireplace,  Deer Flying, Winter Wonderland Sleigh. I also used the Vintage Bells

For this next page I used the CottageCutz Vintage Bells, Sleigh Expressions Die "Our Family"  To see how each page is interactive please see my VIDEO below.

For this next page here, I used the Sweet CottageCutz Holiday Dove Die. Another beauty from the Christmas Release.

Here is another Interactive Page. For this one, I cut several of the CottageCutz Holiday Floral Spray, and used the flower to layer for each one. Love the look I was able to achieve using this beautiful die.

Next up is another Interactive Page, using envelopes to create a mini within this mini album. I used CottageCutz Vintage Bells, CottageCutz Bells, CottageCutz Woodland Pine Trees , CottageCutz Holiday Village , Stamp  and Merry Christmas from the CottageCutz Homemade Christmas Giftset.

For this page I used more of the Stamps from the Homemade Christmas Giftset, and Santa & Friends.

On this page here, I kept it pretty simple. There is room for 1 photo on the front, and then the tag will hold 2 more.
