Oh No Kitty Double-Window Card

Hello everyone! It's Janet and it's my turn to share a project video with you. I hope all our U.S. fans enjoyed a few days off and lots of time with family and friends! Likely among all that you visited with there were people recovering from a cold or some other ailment. It seems so many people are suffering with something or other right now.

There's no better way to make someone feel better than to receive a cheery get well card from someone. Well, we have that covered! You've been seeing lots of the new get well projects from our talented design team lately and I'm showing another twist on the Oh No Kitty die. This kitty is so darn cute with all of his little owies bandaged up! I couldn't help but use it on a project.

Click on the thumbnail link to learn how this double-window card was made. It's a little tricky to cut the windows so they are centered over each other but pretty easy once you learn a few tips.

If you'd like to see all twelve of the Get Well themed dies in the new release, click on the thumbnail link below. These dies and many others found in the Scrapping Cottage site are on sale through December 1st. Don't miss it!

Gingerbread Spice

Hi Cottage Cutz fans!  It's Jeanne today with a sweet card.  I decided to use pink and pastel green instead of traditional Christmas colors so this could be a thinking of you card, birthday card, or in more traditional colors a Christmas card.
I've collected gingerbread men for years so there are several of this year's Christmas release that I think are really special!  This card uses two of them.
To begin, I cut a piece of background patterned paper to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch to fit on my A2 card base.  I die cut a white panel using the largest of the Nested Stitched Eyelet Rectangle dies.  Then I cut a 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch strip of white card stock and laid down a piece of washi tape.  I used the white base because otherwise the washi tape got lost on the dots of the patterned paper.
I die cut the main pieces of the image from a few colors of card stock and the smaller pieces from white.
I used Copic markers to color in the small bow, whisk and tip on the pastry bag.  And I sponged the edges of the girl, her dress and pocket, and the bowl with their corresponding colors of ink (Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding and Mint Macaron - the names of the ink and the subject matter is making me hungry as I write this!)
I used a stamp from the Sweet Gingerbread stamp and die set for the sentiment. It is stamped in Baked Brown Sugar.
I adhered the panel to the card front at a slight angle using foam tape.
My final step was to glue the gingerbread girl down and add the bowl and pastry bag.  To give them some dimension I used foam dots underneath them.

Christmas Shine!

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Friends!

It is Pam sharing with your today!  I am loving this new die Lantern with Pine Boughs!  I decided to use some gold card stock to really make it pop! I love how the green and red look against the gold.  The colors are so beautiful together.

Design Steps:
1.  Using the Lantern Die cut all of the pieces out using the following colors: red, gold, light brown, dark brown, green, cream and yellow.
2.  Use copic markers to add some shadowing to the pieces

 3.  Cut out a white large Cottage Cutz Scalloped Eyelet Rectangle and assemble the pieces onto the rectangle
 4. Cut an A2 white card stock base and a gold snowflake piece of DP 4 x 5 1/4.  Glue the DP to the white card base then glue down the Scalloped Eyelet Rectangle
