Love You Mom

Hi! It's Janja here with a card for moms.

- CottageCutz dies: Polar Bears w/ Birch Trees, Arctic Polar Bear & Cub, Tree, Fall Fox & Hedgehog, Love You Mom Phrase
- blank card: 5.3 x 5.3" (13,5 x 13,5 cm), folded
- patterned paper: 5 x 5" (12,7 x 12,7 cm)
- colored cardstock
- colored ink pads
- markers
- glue, double-sided adhesive tape, self-adhesive foam pads

I cut out all of the pieces from colored cardstock. I used different shades of ink pads and markers to further emphasize the cutouts.

I cut out the phrase Love You Mom twice.

Then I trimmed the patterned paper and prepared a blank card.

The cutouts are attached to the background with glue and self-adhesive pads.

Polar Birthday

Happy Friday!  It's Jeanne today with a birthday card using two dies from the Arctic Animals release.  I always need birthday cards, especially masculine ones.  These dies are great because they can be used for both men and women!
For my basic design I used a sketch from Splitcoaststampers.  Although I changed the proportions of the elements of the sketch the basic layout is there.
https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/card-sketches-f41/sketch-challenge-774-11-6-19-a-t631199.html
I cut all the pieces from white cardstock and then used gray, mint and blue ink to shade the pieces.
I used two shades of purple to blend a panel for the background, then dry embossed the "snowfall".
I took some white craft ink and lightly went over the raised dots to make them more snow-like.
I cut my three panels - the bottom layer 5.5 x 4.25 inches, the snow panel 3.375 x 4.25 inches and the purple panel 4 x 3 inches.  The bottom striped paper is double sided and in the end I decided to use the dotted side as I thought it emphasized the snow theme of the card.
The sentiment is heat embossed in white. Although I intend to use this as a birthday card, the sentiment could be used for a variety of reasons.
I glued all elements to an A2 card base but popped the polar bear up using foam.  I use A LOT of foam when I pop something off a card.  I like it to feel solid underneath and not bend.
Finally I added a few snowflake sequins.  I hope you have enjoyed my card today.  I had fun making it.

Polar Bear Fun!

Hello Friends!

I have a few cards that I am making for winter birthdays.  Luckily my birthday calendar is pretty empty in this busy month!!

I am using the Arctic Polar Bear and Cub die and as you can see it makes a very sweet card!

Directions:
 1.  Using the Arctic Polar Bear and Cub die cut the pieces out of white. And for the Evergreens use the Arctic Snowy Trees die and cut the pieces out of white and green

2.  Assemble the trees using your markers to color the trunks
 3.  For the background use a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of blue glitter card stock, the sky is a piece of DP cut 3 3/4 x 5 and the snowbanks are cut free hand out of white glitter card stock

4.  Glue the pieces to the blue glitter card stock and then to the A2 white card base.  Add the trees and the polar bears to the snowbanks

Husky and Friends

Hello Friends

Our new release called Arctic Animals is just so cute!  And you have just one more day to catch the Black Friday sale.  The discounts are amazing.  So hop on over to the online store!!

I hope you are all ready for Christmas!!  I have a friend who's birthday is close to the holiday and she is a dog lover.  So I made her a card featuring our sweet Husky pup. He is part of the Arctic Animal release.

Design Steps:
1.  Cut all the pieces out of white using the Husky w/ Sled die.
2.  Color and shade all of the pieces using your favorite markers.  I used Copics

 3.  Assemble the Husky and his sled
 4.  Using the Arctic Polar Bear and Cub die cut the pieces out of white card stock
 5.  Color and shade the pieces with your markers
 6.  Use a white A2 card base, cut out a piece of blue card stock just slightly smaller then the  front of the card and then cut a piece of DP slightly smaller then the blue.  Cut a piece of white glitter card stock 2 x 5 1/4.  Glue the DP to the blue card stock and the white glitter card stock to the center of the DP
 7.  Place dimension squares to the back of the dog and sled
8.  Pop the die cut to the glitter card stock as shown.  Using the Expressions Let it Snow die cut it out twice using purple card stock.  Glue the pieces together and add to card as shown below.  I added Glossy Accents to the words

I Can Nearly Wait til Christmas!

Hello!  This is Sukie and I'm back for my design team post with this sweet Christmas card.  I used two die sets from the new Black Friday die release for my card.  These dies are still on sale over in the store.
I cut out the adorable polar bears from the Arctic Polar Bear & Cub and Arctic Moose & Polar Bear die sets.  I cut out an extra scarf so all three bears would have a scarf.  I also used a left over piece from the Icicle Border die set and cut it into two pieces.
I created the card base with a snowflake paper layered with some patterned paper.  The icicle border was adhered along the top edge with the thinner scrap added along the bottom edge. Everything was matted on a black card base.
The first polar bear was placed on the left side of my card and the other two bears were added on the opposite side.
I heat embossed a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Winter Wishes stamp set on a hand cut flag.  The sentiment flag was placed above the polar bear as a finishing accent.
Here are the die sets used on my card, available in the store:
