Merry Christmas

Happy Sunday everyone!

Kathy with you and today I have a couple of Christmas projects to show you!  The first is a very simple card I made for MY Christmas Cards this year!  I wanted something elegant and simple...this is what I came up with!

I just love the white and red combination on this showing the beautiful Elegant Flurry Snowflake Die cut.  Very easy card to put together!  I used a red card base and a white mat partially embossed with a snowflake die.  I stamped a sentiment on the bottom, wrapped some red ribbon around the mat, then added the snowflake and a bow!

My second project is a gift card holder I made using the Fancy Envelope Die, my new FAVORITE die!  It's perfect as a gift card holder, I love it!  I know I'll be using this one a lot!

To make the holder, I cut the envelope with white cardstock and again with some Christmas designer paper (Botanical Noel by Recollections).  I trimmed the designer paper piece to cover the flap and another piece for the back (taken from the inside of the pocket).

The Poinsettia Spray was cut with various cardstock scraps that were shaped and slightly inked.  I also cut a bow with red cardstock using the Homemade Christmas Gift Set and added a button with a twine bow.   I also cut an additional poinsettia flower to decorate the flap with a couple of leaves.

These are the dies I used:

CottageCutz Shabby Chic Christmas Stocking

Have yourself a Shabby little Christmas.
May all your decorations be white.
Hang a tattered little star upon the highest bow,
and have yourself a Shabby little Christmas now!!!
Hello friends and bloggers It's Carol here today.    It's now just about that time before Christmas when I realize I have planned more craft projects than I know I can finish or handle.  I was procrastinating about this project knowing I had cards to make to get in the mail and a project to show you today. I got out my little Christmas note cards that I purchased from Michaels, got some white paint, cheese cloth, kraft cardstock, a couple of dies, glitter and punches and went to town.  This card goes together fast.  I am not kidding.  I will have made 8 cards in two nights.  That is fast for me!
Not only that, this will cost 66 cents to mail instead of $2.50 to $3.00 per card that I normally spend.  This is so much fun to make.  If I don't have paint up to my elbows and on my face and glitter all over the place, I am not having fun.  This was fun!!!!    Thanks for stopping by.  Sure do appreciate it.  See you soon!!!  Here are the dies I used:

Chalkboard style

 Hi, all! Vladka is here!

This time I have two cards with chalkboard style  for you. I love this style and I´ve used it before, but I wanted to try it also with CottageCutz dies. I combined different dies from different releases: Christmas, Harvest and from the last Winter release which is so playful. Here are both cards:
First one is combination of Wreath, Mittens, Winterland Holly and Bow dies. First two are cut out from black cardstock and embossed with white powder. Winterland Holly and Bow are coloured with Distress Inks.
Second one is combined from Snowflake, Ice Skates and Poinsettia dies. Also here are Snowflake and Ice Skates cut out from black cardstock and embossed with white powder and Poinsettia is coloured with different Distress Inks.
Holidays approaching very fast and I have so much to do till then. I have to hurry up.
But I still have time to wish you great day and don´t forget to have fun!

Winter Tag Set

Hello everyone! It's Simona with you today.
Christmas is approaching so fast and since I'm going to need some
tags for the gifts, I decided to make some. For my tags I used
beautiful NEW dies from the

I cut the dies out of white card stock. Then I colored them with
Copic markers and Distress Inks.

For the tags I used Santa & Reindeer Tag Set. I cut the
tags 3x out of white card stock and 3x out of various design paper.
Then I glued them together and distress the edges with walnut stain
distress ink.

I added eyelets to the tags and attached the die cuts
onto the tags with some 3D foam squares.

I appreciate you stopped by today!
Thank you for looking and see you next time.

Hugs,
Simona

Poinsettia card

Hello Everyone from Olena

Today, I am sharing with you my Holiday "Poinsettia" card I created with Beautiful  CottageCutz Collections of dies.

For this card I used only one Ornate Poinsettia die.

I cut Poinsettia out three times using white card stock. Then I cut leaves and swirls out using scissors, sponge the edges with light pin color of ink and glued second image on first using double foam tape. Next, I cut big flower out, sponge the edges and glued on second image using foam tape too.

For background I stamped small snowflakes and sentiment "Merry Christmas".
Decorate card with white and pink ribbons, yellow rhinestone and orange Liquid Pearls.

Have a Wonderful Day.

Elegant Christmas Bell

Happy Thursday!

Kathy with you and today I have a Christmas card for you using the Elegant Christmas Bell, Holly Berry Mini, and The Homemade Christmas Gift Set dies from The Scrapping Cottage.

For my card I started with a red base and added a white mat embossed with a snowflake die.  The Merry Christmas sentiment is cut using The Homemade Christmas Gift Set and red cardstock.  I ran it through my XYRON Create-a-sticker machine to make it easier to adhere to the card.  The Elegant Christmas Bell was cut with red and green cardstock and gold designer paper from Glad Tidings Mat Stack.  I glued the bell to the mat and then added branches that were inked with green and shaped a little.  The bow was inked with red and shaped it a little before adding it the to bell with pop dots.

I wrapped the plaid ribbon around the mat and added a bow made with the Bow-Easy.  I used the Holly Berry Mini with red and green cardstock to add holly to the bow center after shaping them a little with my fingers and a stylus.

To finish the card off I added a button with a floss bow.

These are the dies I used.
