Baby Screen Card

Hi, Lois here with a card I made using the brand new Baby Dies, which are so very cute.  And right now they're 25% off, so be sure to go over to the store site and check them out!

Supplies used on my card are:

Pink cardstock - 11" x 5 1/2", scored at 3 3/4" and 7 1/4"

Dark pink cardstock (3 panels) - 3 1/4" x 4"

Patterned paper (3 panels) - 3 1/8" x 3 7/8"

White cardstock large enough to cut pieces

Scrap of pink and dark pink large enough to cut circle pieces

Various Copic markers for coloring die-cut pieces

Punches to cut border top and legs

CottageCutz dies - Baby Animal Mobile, Baby Girl Tag Topper, Pram, Stork w/Baby Mini

To start my card, I cut the pink cardbase 11" x 5 1/2", scored at 3 3/4" and 7 1/4", and punched the border top and legs.  You could use any border punch for the top; mine is an EK Success punch that has small moons and stars.  There are many different punches you could use to cut the legs.   I used the Modern Label punch from Stampin' Up.

Then  I cut the dark pink matting pieces and pattern paper . . .

. . .  and adhered the dark pink pieces onto the three panels of the screen.

I cut out  the various pieces from white cardstock, except for the tag topper, where I used scraps of light and dark pink.

I colored the various die cuts and constructed the pram, stork and baby, and tag topper.  I decided that it would be easier to construct the mobile directly on the panel rather than pre-make it, although I did "build" the animals that had several pieces (the giraffe, zebra and lion -- as well as the sun).

I then glued the pram to the first panel, built the mobile on the second panel, and glued the stork with the baby and the tag topper to the third panel . . .

. . . and adhered all three panels to the card.

Layered Die Cuts Card

A very Happy Easter to all !!!
I am Anita here and for today's post , I have a layered die cut card that mainly uses different types of oval designs. You can check them out here at the store. There is a whole new range of new baby dies also now available and shipping at 25 % discount so do not miss it.

Here is my card.

To make this card, just follow the picture tutorial below.

Cut two pieces of die cut in white card stock using these dies.

Adhere each die cut together to add a little thickness to the die cut. Distress with Oxide inks

Cut a card panel 5.5 inches by 4.25 inches and emboss in an embossing folder.

Adhere the base oval die cut after distressing the embossed card panel with worn lipstick oxide ink. Distress the oval lightly with Peeled Paint  Oxide ink.

Distress more die cuts and layer them as shown using Foam tape.

Add glitter to the Songbird Die cut

Score a card base 5 inches by 6.5 inches at 1/4 inch interval on the scoring board.  Add the green ribbon. Distress with oxide ink. Add the layered card panel. Insert  a CottageCutz Victorian corner die cut at the two corners. Add the best wishes sentiment die cut. Add a bow and pearl stick pins.

Sleeping Bear On the Moon!

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Friends!

It is Pam and I am so happy to be sharing with you today because I am using one of our new release Baby Dies called Bear on Cloud and Moon!  All of the new release baby dies are so incredible and very detailed!

1.  Use a white A2 card base cut 3 mats.  Blue mat is 5 3/8 x 4 1/8, white mat is 5 1/4 x 4 and checked mat is 5 x 3 3/4

2. Glue layers to the white card base

3. Next cut a piece of yellow card stock 4 3/4 x 3 3/4 and border punch the edge. Layer with solid blue 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 then with star paper 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 

4.  Before mounting to the card add the ribbon

5.  Using the second to the largest Pierced Rectangle die cut out a white piece of card stock and layer it onto blue card stock then glue to the card front as shown

6.  Using the Bear on Cloud and Moon die cut out all the pieces: moon sparkle yellow card stock, bear brown card stock, cloud and base of hat blue card stock, top of hat and blanket star paper, bear face tan, bear nose black and tassle out of white.  After cuting out and assembling the pieces add highlights with colored pencils

7.  Using pop dots mount the moon, cloud and the bear to the front of the card glue on the blank, and hat

8.  Add the rhinestone stars

CottageCutz Cross With Vine

Hello, Scrapping Cottage friends!  Happy Wednesday!  This is Beverly Polen from Guneaux Designs, and I am pleased to be a guest designer today!  Because Sunday is the Easter holiday for Christians, my card share for you is an Easter card that showcases the CottageCutz Cross With Vine Die.  But before I discuss the card, I want to draw your attention to the new CottageCutz Baby Release for April.  These new dies are adorable, and I encourage you to check them out.  For a limited time, you can enjoy a 25% discount on the dies!

Here is the Easter card I made for your enjoyment.

If you would like to make the card, please follow these instructions:

• Cut out the cross, vine, and flowers using the CottageCutz Cross With Vine Die.
• Color the cross, vine, and flowers (I used Copics Sketch Markers), and attach the vine to the cross.  (I started with pink flowers following the image for the die but changed to white.)

• Cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of white card stock and use the third to the largest CottageCutz Double-Stitched Oval Die to cut an oval in the center of the card stock.  If desired, emboss the negative piece.  The oval cut out will not be used.

• Cut an oval from a piece of purple designer paper using the same die.

• Cut out three ovals from white card stock using the second and third largest dies from the Double-Stitched Oval Dies.  Glue the three ovals together.

• Cut out and color two vines and grass using the CottageCutz Grass, Trees, and Vines Die.   
• Also, using the CottageCutz Cross With Vine Die, cut and color purple flowers and attach them to the vines.  (Note:  After finishing the card, I decided to add a third vine with flowers.)

• Cut a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of purple card stock, fold in the middle for the card base, and begin assembling the card.
• Adhere foam tape to the back of the piece of white card stock with an oval cut from the center. Attach this to the center front of the card base.  

• Attach the purple designer paper oval inside the oval on the card front.

• Attach foam tape to the piece of grass and adhere it to the bottom of the cross.  
• Attach foam tape to the cross and adhere it to the center of the oval on the card front.
• Attach the three glued ovals onto the card front.
• Attach the vines with flowers around the oval.
• Add a sentiment.  I added one inside the card.
