Spring Chick A-Dee Z-fold Card/Coloring Video

Hello everyone today I'm sharing a Sweet Cottage Cutz Spring Chick-a-dee from The Scrapping Cottage! I've also done a video showing how I colored her and with what colors.
My card is the opposite of the Z-Fold card, when open it should fold like a Z but i wanted to do mine a little different, so it folds in :)
I love Cottage Cutz Spring Chick-a-dee, she is sooo cute, and super fun to color. I almost was going to use the Dusting technique i love doing on these but decided to color with copics today.

Ive added some pearls to both their dresses, and to the flower by the mailbox. The LOVE is stamped from Cottage Cutz Vintage Key.

mailbox was dusted with Tim Holtz Colors-
The Post was dusted in-Tea Die
Mailbox=Spun Sugar
Letter in Mailbox=antique linen
Grass=G99,G24,YG13

Copic Colors I used for Spring Chick-a-dee
For Spring Chick=YR31,Y11,Y08
Cheek Color=R20
Beak and Feet=YR09,YR15
Dress & Hat=RV34,RV23
These colors were used on this Spring Chick-a-dee below. and all the chicks above, the only color i cant remember is the one on the front of the card, since that green was used on the hat a few days ago. I think for the dress on the front I listed it in the video below. :)

Hope you enjoy my video!
I did forget to show how i add the cheeks in the video since it was running out of time, but I just add them with R20 and if you want to soften them use the clear blender copic. I didnt soften them in these. I also added some white gel pen to the cheeks.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

"Sweets" Funky Fold Card & Video

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday to all! Cheryl here with my Funky Fold card and another Cottage Cutz "Pink Peony" Video using the Cuddlebug die cut machine. Ive also used 3 of the Carnival Releases for my card  :)
I'm LOVING the new Releases they are sooo SWEET! Its the Carnival Release and all the new die cuts are perfect for cards,layouts, and albums :) I LOVE THEM ALL and so will you :)

Here is a picture of the inside, I added some of the borders from Boardwalk Canival Silhouette, it reminds me of Santa Cruz California, and I will be heading there this month :) cant wait!! I also used on the inside the cotton candy Cottage Cutz and the tickets from Ticket Booth. I figured you could add your own writing on them :) sweet messages... hehehehe
For my Funky Fold card today I used:

For my card I wanted to go with a soft girly look. Not your normal ticket booth, but I thought for a little girl this card would be perfect :) The video I have on the #3 peony is done real easy with 2 diecuts pieces,airbrushing,and a pearl and glue. You can use any tool for the folding of the flower, I chose to use the quilling tool.
If you would like to try the Funky Fold Card, its super easy and fun to make, I have a couple video's that you can view here :) that I did last year.

I hope my video was helpful, and hope you all have a lovely day :)

I'm SEW Excited!!

Hello everyone I'm Cheryl, and I'm SEW excited to be part of The Scrapping Cottage DT!  I LOVE working with these DARLING die cutz, they are all sew sweet!! I'm also honored to be working along side of such wonderful,talented designers!

Now for a little bit about me :)
I just turned 41 this week, and I've been married for 21years to the best hubby in the world! He supports my crafting like no other, and also helps me whenever needed in my craft room. He has also designed a few cards for me as well, he is SEW SWEET!!!  We have 3 children, 2 cats, and 1 little dog :) Ive been crafting since I was about 16 years old , I started scrapbooking in 1996 or shortly before my youngest was born. I then started card making in 2006 shortly after our move to Utah. I have always LOVED crafting, no matter what kind its been :) Currently I design cards,layouts,mini albums,altered items, and so on :) Crafting is a LOVE, and Passion of mine, and its sew relaxing!

Today Im going to share a card and tag I made using the Cottage Cutz Dies:
I also have a video to share on how I put together my dress form and it is below :)
For my card I used the SWEET dress form dicut(LOVE THIS) and decorated it with vintage lace, and some trim. Ive also used the same dress form for my tag as well, only changing the stand a bit. The stand on my tag was distressed with ink, but everything else is the same. I also used the spool of thread for a tag to add some writing.
Hehehehe I have to warn you that at the end of my video I didn't notice that I was adding the tulle to the backside of my dress form...hehehehe sorry!!! You will want to add it to the front :) Hugs to all!!!
