Sea You Soon

Hello Friends

I am sharing a fun little under the sea card today with some adorable creatures.  The dies I am featuring are Seahorse and Jellyfish The card is a slimline using the Slimline Window die.

Design Steps:

1.  Using the Seahorse and the Jellyfish die cut out the seahorse in light mint and dark mint.  Cute out the jellyfish in peach.  I inked both creatures in coordinating colors.  The fish, sand and the seaweed are from an older die called Tropical Fish.  Assemble the creatures with a fast drying fine tip glue

2.  Cut a piece of white card stock for the slimline card base measuring 3 1/4 x 8 1/4 when folded.  Cut a piece of blue card stock using the Window Slimline die.  Cut a piece of water DP 3 x 8

3.  Glue the DP to the back of the blue window slimline frame.  Add the sand to the bottom and the seaweed as shown

4.  Glue the panel to the front of the white slimline card base

5.  Add the seahorse, jellyfish and small fish to the card front as shown above.  Stamp your sentiment and layer onto green card stock.  Glue to the card front and card is complete

Happy July 4th

Hello Friends

I thought I would make one more 4th of July card.  I am using the Patriotic Eagle w/Top Hat and a little wagon (Mouse with Garden Wagon) filled with stars (Patriotic Pennants).

Designer steps:

1.  Use an A2 white card base, cut a piece of blue 4 1/8 x 5 3/8, cut a piece of dotted blue DP 4 x 5 1/4

2.  Using the Patriotic Eagle w/Top Hat cut out the eagle in brown, whtie and yellow.  Using the Mouse with Garden Wagon cut out the wagon in red, black and silver.  Using the Patriotic Pennant cut out stars in red, white and blue.  Edge the eagle with coordinating inks.  Assemble with fine tip glue

3.  Glue the dotted paper to the blue card stock and add the ribbon.  Glue down the wagon and the eagle

4.  Add the stars to the wagon.  Stamp your sentiment and layer onto red and blue.  Your card is complete

USA

Hello Friends

I usually send out a few Happy 4th cards so I thought I would get started especially since this 4th is celebrating our 250th!! I am using 2 dies from our 4th of July collection.  The USA Phrase and The Patriotic Pennants are represented on this mini slimline card.

Design Steps:

1.  Using the Patriotic Pennants die and cut out the two dogs in a light tan, black (nose), and blue and red (the collars).  Shade the dogs with a matching ink.  Using the same die cut out the banner in red, white and blue.  Next cut out the stars in red, white and blue.  Assemble the pieces with a fine tip glue

2.  Use a white card base measuring 6 1/4 x 3 1/4 (folded).  Cut a piece of red 6 1/8 x 3 1/8, cut a piece of DP 6 x 3.  Glue the pieces to the card base.  Using the Slimline Grass cut a piece of green and glue to the bottom of the card

3.  Pop up the pups and the banner as shown above

4.  Use the USA Phrase and cut it out in red.  Line the back of the letters in white.  Glue to the card base as shown above.  Add a few sequin and your card is complete
