Happy Wednesday! I'm back for day two and another video for you. When working with wedding ideas, I can't help but think back to my own newlywed days. These thoughts were part of the inspiration for today's anniversary card.
My tri-fold card features the Honeymoon Car die and the Nested Stitched Scallop Rectangle and Circle sets. The three panel design allows for a window in the first panel to peak into the second panel which holds the car. The third panel has the final mat and sentiments.
Today's YouTube video walks you through how to create the three panel base, cut a window and a coordinating frame, use your rectangle die to make sentiment mats, a demo on creating the metallic brush stroke stamped background, and a few dry and heat embossing tricks and tips. I have to admit that I would have been happier with this card if I had used the same color on my window frame as was used on the sentiment mat but that detail doesn't interfere with the tutorial. Now I have an excuse to make another card with that improvement! Click on the YouTube thumbnail below to watch this quick instructional video.
It was fun to share two projects with you this week. See you next month and for those of you in the USA, enjoy the Labor Day weekend!
