It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. It's Carol here today. How about some shabby chic cards for today's project share with these beautiful Cottagecutz dies. Lots of white cardstock and glitter really make for a festive card.
For this card the super cute Trees 4 Sale die from CottageCutz is the main focal point. The
Christmas Greeting die was cut on black card stock. To create the background, a snowflake embossing folder was used on kraft cardstock that was cut with a round Spellbinders die and then a white ink pad was run over the design. The holly leaves are Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Punch.
The Santa's Sleigh die for this card was cut on white cardstock and painted with glitter glue and sprinkled with glitter. The snowflakes are Martha Stewart punches that have been glittered and layered.
This is the
Christmas Tree in Window die. It was glittered to. Some cheese cloth has also been sandwiched in the layers for a fun wispy feel to shabby it up. The card bases are from the $1.50 bin at Michael's.
