Summer and Lemonade Go Together!

Hello Friends,

The summers in Arizona is extremely hot so I thought I would do a card with one of my favorite thirst quenchers LEMONADE!  This card will probably go to another person who live here in the desert who needs a little summer boast! I am featuring the Lemonade StandGarden Bicycle and the Fresh Lemonade Phrases.

Design Steps:
If you would like to see a video this link will take you to Splitcoaststamper side step tutorial.  HERE

1.  Line up the short side of the card stock at 3 inches on a paper cutter.  Start at 1 inch and cut all the way to 6 1/2 inches
2.  Score the 2 1/2 wide section of the card at 4 1/4 inches
3.  Score the 3 inch wide section at 1 inch, 2 inches, 3 1/4 inches, 4 1/2 inches and 6 1/2 inches
4.  Fold the score line on the 2 1.2 side at the 4 1/4 mountain style
5.  To decorate the card front I used the following colors of card stock and dies for the cuts: Garden Bicycle (blue, black, silver) Lemon Branch (yellow, green) Lemonade Stand (wood grain DP, yellow, blue, white, and green) Lemonade Phrases (black light yellow, dark yellow, white and green) Grass Slimline (green) Fall Tree (brown, green and yellow)

6.  Cut a piece of wood grain DP 2 1/4 x 4 1/4 and glue to the left side of the side step card.  For the grass the front pieces are 1 x 3 and 1/2 x 3, middle step is 1 1/4 x 3 and 1 x 3, back step is 2 x 3.  Decorate the left side with the Lemonade Word Phrase as shown
7.  Add the trees to the back step, the lemonade stand to the middle step and the bicycle to the front step

Time for Adventure

Hello Friends

It is Pam sharing with you today!  CHRISTMAS IN JULY SALE SAVE UP TO 65%!! CHECK IT OUT HERE!

The card I am making today is for a retirement celebration.  It is designed especially for a sea loving guy.  He can hardly wait to enjoy sailing and traveling to exciting places in his new found free time! I am featuring the Pirate ShipShip's Wheel and Map & Spyglass dies.

Design Steps:

1.  Using the following dies: Pirate ShipMap & Spyglass and Ship's Wheel cut out the following colors of card stock: red, black, yellow, Kraft, and gray (Pirate Ship) light blue, cream, parchment, red and navy (Map and Spyglass) Kraft (Ships Wheel)

2.  Shade the pieces and then assemble with a fine tip glue

3.  Using the 5th and 6th from the largest Pierced Square dies cut out 2 squares in white.  Using the 3rd from the largest Pierced Rectangle die cut out 1 rectange in white.  Run the pieces through an embossing folder and then blend with blue ink

4.  Arrange the pieces on the rectangle and squares and then glue down

5.  The base is an A2 Kraft card stock, followed by cream colored card stock cut 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 and the top layer is black card stock cut 4 x 5 1/4.  Ink the edges of the kraft and cream card stock and glue together.  Add the black layer on top of the cream card stock.  For a little added texture I dyed cheesecloth with some TH Vintage Photo ink and placed it on top of the black card stock

6.  I was able to attach the cheesecloth by placing a good amount of glue on the backs of the rectangle and square pieces.  Add the sentiment and your card is complete
