Holiday Cocoa & Holly Jolly Moose /2Cards

Hello everyone, Cheryl here today with 2 Christmas cards to share!  IAbsolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this Christmas Release from the Scrapping Cottage! Today I'm sharing 2 simple cards.

1st up is CottageCutz Holiday Cocoa!
For my card here I colored the Cocoa cup and deer with copics, then added some branches. Super easy! Next for the card base I used 2 different design papers, and added some ribbon across the center for a border. Lastly I added a bow, brad, and sticker to complete my card.

Super SIMPLE Christmas Card!
I colored the moose with copics, and added some branches, and viva pearls for berries. The Dp is Peppermint Express line.

Ribbon is actually Seam binding , I love the pattern on it, so had to use it for this card :) Tag is from Bundled up, a sheet of paper I cut up.
Lastly I added some sparkle brads to the corners

Thank you for looking and hope you all have a Merry Christmas!
Hugs
Cheryl

CottageCutz Christmas Cards

Hello everyone, it's Carol here today.   Christmas is in full swing here and today's post is just in time to share some of those last minute Christmas cards to send to family and friends.  CottageCutz dies are not only adorable, but the make quick work of a Holiday card and lend lots of details to the focal points.  This card features the Nutcracker die.
These cards are created on Christmas cards from the $1.50 bin at Michael's for the base.  For this card the Potted Poinsettia for the focal point and Poinsettia and Ivy die from CottageCutz.
So you can see the different looks you can get with these beautiful dies.  For this card Santa on Chimney is used.  These cards use all the same basic colors of black, white, and designer paper from Authentique "Believe" pad.
Reindeer Pulling Sleigh from CottageCutz is the main focal point for this card.  A switch up of the flower and sentiment gives another look to this same basic design.
Now that you have seen how many cards worked up, you know that once you have your basic design planned out, they go pretty quickly.  Perfect for last minute cards you need to get out.  This one used the Santa's Naughty/Nice List.
Almost all of these CottageCutz images were cut on glittered paper.  Another easy peasy hint for finishing up a few extra cards to send to those you didn't know were going to send to you this year.  For this card the Christmas Stocking was used.  Thank you for stopping by today.  Hope this gives you some ideas for whipping up some cards to finish your mailing list.  Until next time, Happy Crafting.  Here are the dies used:

CottageCutz Santa List Easel Card

Greetings everyone. It's Carol here today. Welcome to another CottageCutz project using the dies from the Christmas 2015 Release.  For today, we have a beautiful Easel card.  The colors Red, Black, Gold and White were chosen for the card from a MAMBI Christmas pad from last year that I got at Michael's.

The CottageCutz dies used for this creation are as follows:  Santa's List, Santa Pulling Sled, Poinsettia and HollyChristmas Greeting, and the Santa Reindeer Border.  A Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page was used along with Gold, Red, White, and Black Cardstock.  A snowflake embossing folder was used in the background and a Recollection Flower.
Isn't this Santa cute.  He matches the Santa List so perfectly that he just needed to be on this card.  What a fun project.  It was quick too as the black cardstock images just speak for themselves!
Thank you so much for joining me today and viewing this fun card.  Until next time....Happy Crafting.  These are the dies used:

Framed Nativity Scene and Bethlehem

Hi all. Vladka here!
Today I have something different for you. I created some "pictures" and put them into the frames. This can be used as Christmas decoration, especially if you don't have other Nativity Scene.
So I made two: one with Nativity Scene from last year Christmas release of CottageCutz dies and Bethlehem from this year Christmas release dies. I also used Peace on Earth expression die.
Both die cuts were cut out of black cardstock. Background is white cardstock stamped with text stamp and with Iced Spruce Distress Ink. Really easy and quickly made. So, there is still a little time to add some additional decoration and it is perfect if you make it by yourself. So, have fun!
And you will find one more great decoration idea in this post from Carol - her ornaments are just great!

CottageCutz Christmas Ornaments

Hello everyone.  It's Carol here today.  For today's project share here are these pretty altered wood ornaments from Michael's  They are wooden frame ornaments that have been painted white and then painted with glue and sprinkled with glitter.
The gold glitter paper has been cut with a oval Spellbinders die that matches the opening of the frame.  The Holy Family die was cut on black cardstock and mounted in the center of the frame.  The Poinsettia and Holly die frames the focal point.
The Angel Boy and Girl CottageCutz die was used on this ornament.  The flowers were created by cutting on white cardstock and distressing with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.  The center is a gold bead and the Holly was cut on gold paper.  The berries are from a Dollar Store floral pick.  The gold bling at the top of the ornament is a Michael' embellishment.
This ornament uses the Praying Angel Die.  She's so pretty isn't she.  I just love these ornaments.  After I created these I loved them so much I wanted to make more.  But when I went back to Michael's they didn't have any more of these frames.  Hope you got some inspiration to make your own ornaments.  Thanks for stopping by today to view this project.  Until next time......Happy Crafting.  These are the dies used:
