Cards with Ornaments

Hi, all. Vladka here. 

Today I want to show you two similar cards with two beautiful CottageCutz dies: Ornament - Nativity and Ornament - Reindeer. Both die cuts are embossed with red embossing powder. I just add "Peace on Earth" expression to the first card, cut from black cardstock and embossed with white powder. 

Second card is more special, is actually a shaker card. Because of delicacy of the die cut it would be difficult to use foam tape. So, I cut out the motive one more time from fun foam. But because I have it just in green color, I colored it with red. I used just edge of foam die cut. Also here I add expression, but this time "Happy Holidays".

Deer Snowflake Scene card

  Today I am sharing with you my new Holiday 2014 card I created with beautiful CottageCutz NEW Christmas 2014 Collections of dies.

 

 In this season of 2014 the CottageCutz Company have a huge Winter Collection of dies. Two of these I used for my Christmas card. 

 

 For this card I used acetate (window) film sheet for base card.

 
 Cut all images out (Deer Snowflake Scene and Woodland Pine Trees), sponge with craft ink and glued on acetate base card using clear craft glue. But, also, you can use glue dots or clear tape.


 Added sentiment on front of card and stamped snowflakes inside card.

I have another project with "In the Woods" dies. You still have a few days left to get them on the sale in the Store together with other dies.  Be sure to check it out.  Today I'm showcasing following dies: Cute Penguin, Earmuffs & Mittens Mini, Scarf Mini, Winter Boots Mini and Winter Hat Mini. 

I remember as a child how I liked the stories which had pictures of some objects instead of words. And this was idea here and so I used die cuts of Mittens, Scarf, Boots and Hat instead of words. But this is just the beginning because card has also second page. I used brad on the upper left corner which helps to open the front page on the side. Text also begins on the first page and it continues on second one where cute little penguin invite you to have some winter fun together.

CottageCutz.

It's that perfect little gift that is quick and easy to alter and just gives it the extra detail that makes it special.  This little note holder has a magnetic strip on the back that makes it easy to place on your refrigerator.  And guess what, it comes from Michael's!!!  I bet you knew that was coming right!!! Black Friday 2014 "In the Woods" Relaese/Preview Day 8

Welcome to day eight of the preview of the beautiful CottageCutz BLACK FRIDAY "In The Woods" Release! Vladka here today. This Release consist of 14 New CottageCutz Dies and it is already on SALE for an AWESOME Price for Black Friday!!! 

The whole Week the CottageCutz Designers already showcasing different Dies from this Beautiful New Release. So, don´t forget to check previous days too and take a look at all beautiful Projects. You wont want to miss this Release!

For my card today I am showcasing 8 new dies: Moose and Pine Trees, Teardrop Trailer, Sun and Cloud, Cute Fox, Moose & Bird, Puppy in Bag, Campground and Bear and Sign. I combined all of them with some older dies into one project, so called Camping Journal. Above is the front page, where I used also following dies: Spring Tweetie, Build-A-Grapevine Wreath and Splish Splash Alphabet. Fox is peeking through and when I open the first two pages it looks like this (here I used also Hedgehogs die):

Next two pages show camping place by Day and at Night:

And here are already 5th and 6th page with the Dog (here I used also Library Pocket die) and the Home under the Sun:

And last but not least, two Moose pages. The whole journal is made out of kraft paper and I used different Distress Inks to colored everything. CottageCutz dies have so cute motives that is really fun to work with them. They are telling the stories by themselves.

Black Friday 2014 "In the Woods Release" Day 7

Hello everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Today is Day 7 of our CottageCutz Black Friday Previews for the "In the Woods" Release! This is a absolutely darling release, and there is also CottageCutz "Critters" Release", and you can see the entire Release HERE and its now on SALE!

For my card today, I used the sweet CottageCutz "Cute Penguin" and "Moose's and Pine Tree's" dies. I cut them both out with white cardstock. and colored them with copics. Next I added snow to the tree's using the Viva Pearl Pen in ivory. For the hat, and ear muffs I used a tinsel glitter, and I love the look of this.

The design paper I used is some Old Basic Grey Christmas design paper. I added some pearl half backs, and a sticker sentiment to complete my card for today.
