CottageCutz Springtime Friends

Hello everyone and Happy Thursday to all! Today I have a springtime card to share using the DARLING CottageCutz Dies from the "Garden Delight Release" from the Scrapping Cottage found here.

On my card I used the DARLING CottageCutz "Springtime Friends" die, and cut all pieces in white, then colored with copics. LOVE these little friends as they are super CUTE!!!

Next I cut the tree in white as well, then colored all the flowers, butterflies, and bird with copics as well. I next added some pearls to the centers of all the flowers in tree. Love how this one turned out. The CottageCutz Sweetheart border is from the Sweet Love Release and I LOVE this border die, its perfect for all my cards and projects!

The Design Paper is some that I bought at the American Craft warehouse sale, so I wanted to use it, as it reminds me of springtime :)

I thank you for stopping by and hope you have a super awesome day!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

CottageCutz Chocolate Cupcake Card

Chocolate Cupcakes-yum yum!!!  At least these have "NO CALORIES"!!!    Oh what fun it was to make this card.  Someone very special was on my mind when I was designing this.  The wonderful Teaparty Gals at splitcoast stampers are having a teaparty for my dear Mother.  You can read all about it here.
The theme for the party is Chocolate, Cats, or Angels.  I used the beautiful CottageCutz dies from the Sweet Love Collection.
It was fun to color my images with distress and smooch ink.  The cupcakes are the Sweet Filigree Cupcake and Floral Cupcake.  For the border pieces the Sweet Cupcake Border and Fancy Lace Border were paired together.  They look really cool together.  The Fancy Floral Corner #2 was used along with Lace Flower Doily from past collections.  Lots of layers-just like I love it.  Stitching and distress ink along with glitter and bling and I was a happy camper in my craft room creating this.
Thanks so much for dropping by to see my creation today.  If you have time this week, please come and play the Teapot Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.  Until next time, Happy Crafting and see you soon!

Sweet post

Hi all, Vladka here!
Today I have two cards for you. For both of them, I used dies from Sweet Love release. The first one is pink cake on old wooden cake pedestal. Now you already know me and you also know that Distress Inks are my best friends, when I´m coloring die cuts. This was not an exception. For wooden cake pedestal I also used white tempera to get this old look. But the most important was die and here I used Sweetheart Tiered Cake die. Cake was cut out several times and for lower part I used three of them: two were colored with pink and to all of them I made scallop borders and glued them together.
The second one is bowl full of strawberries and for this one I used Strawberry Delight die.  Bowl is cut out and stamped with little flowers. For background I used another die: Sweet Love Frame. The inside part of the die cut, which is actually die scrap, is really nice piece of paper with nice border and I didn´t want to throw it away, so I used it as background. I just stamped on it with gingham pattern stamp. And I also used die cut behind the bowl. Strawberries are colored with Distress Inks.
This is it for today. Have a sweet day!

CottageCutz Mr.Snuggles /beary cute LO

Hello Friends, today I have a Layout to share of my Son. This one is Called "Beary Cute" he was sooo darling when he was little...heheheehe and he still is. For this LO I used CottageCutz "Mr. Snuggles die for the Bears on my layout.

CottageCutz Mr. Snuggles is from the Winter Release from The Scrapping Cottage, and was cut using white card stock, and then dusted with distressed ink. I added pink cheeks and some white dots with a gel pen. Next I did his eyes with black Viva Pearl Pen.

The design Paper is another I bought at the American Crafts Warehouse Sale, its the Pebbles line. LOVE this!! Also used some stickers I bought there as well. Lastly I added some sewing to complete the page.

This page was pretty simple to make, as there is just the photo's matted and then I used the punches to punch out all the circles for the "beary cute". For the little banners by the bear at the bottom, I cut those and then added stickers to them, super easy!!! I will be adding this page to my Son's album. Love that I am getting some of the pages completed.

Thank you for looking and hope you have a wonderful day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

CottageCutz Altered Valentine Box

Happy Valentine's Day!  It's Carol today with an altered heart shaped box I picked up at from the Dollar Tree.  I had a blast creating this sweet little heart to fill with Valentine candy.  This box was originally red.  So that the color wouldn't show through the pink and white paper I chose to cover the box with, I painted this box white.  The paper is recollection and I cover the inside and outside of the box.
The Sweetheart Border die was cut six times, painted with Gesso and sprinkled with glitter.  After they dried I applied them to the top and bottom of the box along with a string of iridescent pearl trim.

On top of the box I used the Flourish Love Heart cut from white cardstock and also painted with Gesso and  glitter.  For the vine between the roses I used the Sweet Flourish.  The flowers were hand made.  I was experimenting with distressing the edges of the petals.  I love how much texture I was able to achieve on the petals.  In real life it gives them a fuzzy look.  I also painted the flowers with Gesso and sprinkled with glitter.  The box is topped off with a butterfly from the Fiigree Butterfly Trio.
As promised here is my little mini album that coordinates with this box.  Thanks for stopping by today to view my project.  I sure do appreciate it.  Happy Crafting.  See you soon.  Here are the dies I used:
