CottageCutz Corrugated Harvest Boxes

Hello CottageCutz lovers.  Carol here with today's post.  It's Harvest time and my favorite time of the year.  The Cottage Cutz Harvest 2013 collection is just beautiful for creating those fall projects you'll want to share with family and friends.  As promised, I am back with a project that shows you what to do with the corrugated cards from the Michael's card and envelope sets.  On Saturday I showed you the envelope, this is what to do with the card.
Aren't these boxes super cute.  They are 3" x 3" and can hold sweet treats or little cards and envelopes.  Whatever you decided, these are sure to please anyone who receives them.  Imagine how pretty this would be on a plate for Thanksgiving dinner. For this gift box I used the Filigree Leaf Pumpkin, Maple Leaf Mini, Oak Leaf Mini, Fall Vine, Sprig Vine Mini, and Leaf Mini.
This box was created with the beautiful Fall Tree, Fall Vine, Hedgehog Mini and Sprig Vine Mini.  I just love the Sprig Vine Mini.  It reminds me of beautiful ferns.  And, don't get me started on the trees in this collection.  They are amazing.  I cut my tree with brown cardstock and painted the leafs orange and green smooch ink.  It looks amazing IRL.
Here is the inside of the boxes.  You can find the tutorial for making these here.  They are super easy and make up in no time.  So if you want to make them for your Thanksgiving dinner table-you still have plenty of time!  Thank you so much for visiting today.   My next project for CottageCutz will be another cute item for your Thanksgiving table setting.  Be sure to check back on November 19th for that.  Happy Crafting.  Here are the dies I used:

Owl always Love you

Hello everyone, today I wanted to share a Fun Fall Card using CottageCutz dies and Really Reasonable Ribbon.

For my card today I used the Sweet CottageCutz Harvest Owl, and I almost was going to add some gems to him, but decided for this card not to. The background behind my Owl is dusted with 3 different distressed inks. Next I used the Fall Vines as layers for some greenery, I thought the owl would look cute over the distressed background. The "Owl always love you" sentiment is from Victorine Originals. I added some mini ric rac for a bow, and to wrap around my card front. the Hemp bow is natural hemp 20lb. Love the camping design paper from BoBunny it works perfectly for fall!

Supplies Used:
BoBunny camping dp
Victorine Originals Stamped Owl sentiment
Really Reasonable Ribbon/Mini Ric Rac in chestnut and moss green
Buttons
Distressed inks for the background

Thank you for looking and hope you have a wonderful day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Cottage Cutz Harvest Treat Boxes

Hi CottageCutz lovers, it's Carol here today!  Need a fun little gift box/pouch?  Well I have just the little item for you.  And to top it off, these are SUPER EASY to make.  I see you over there saying, yeah she says easy-maybe for her.....right....lol  Well let me tell you these are really envelopes.  Yes, that's right envelopes.  The kraft envelopes you find at Michael's with the corrugated cards inside.  So you say great, love these but what am I going to do with all the leftover cards?  Well, I will show you on November 11 what to make with the card.  Hint....Hint....If you love these, you will love what I show you next!!!!!

Let's begin with the Sunflower.  I have a thing for Sunflowers.  This was created with the Cottagecutz Harvest Sunflower, Harvest Vine, and Harvest Fall Corner.  I also used the Harvest Oak Leaf, Elegant Harvest Leaf, and the Harvest Oak Leaf from Cottagecutz.  I created my sunflower with the Sunflower Spellbinders die and mounted the Harvest Sunflower on a Spellbinders Tag.
For this pouch I used the Harvest Vine Border, Harvest Fall Corner, Harvest Apple Tree, and the Harvest Apple Basket.  I used some lace trim from my stash and a fabric flower for decoration.  It even has apple designer paper covering the envelope.

Have you noticed that Owls seem to be all the rage this year.  I have seen some of the cuties Owl Christmas decorations.  So I just had to make an owl pouch.  I used the Fall Owl Border, Harvest Fall Corner, the Harvest Owl and the Sprig Vine Mini.  The flowers are Recollection and I used some bronze glitter on my die cuts for sparkle.
This is what the inside of the pouch looks like.  You can fit a good bunch of stuff in there.  Aren't these really cool.  I have seen quite a few of these on YouTube.  The tutorial for how to create these can be found here.
Thanks so much for stopping by today to see my project.  I sure to appreciate it.  Remember to come back on November 11 and I will show you want to do with the cards.  You'll be creating some cute little projects in no time.  Happy Crafting!!!  These are the dies used:

Cupcakes

Hi everybody! Vladka here with you today!

The same die and two cards for different occasions.  I used Cupcakes and Toppers die and created one with Halloween theme and the another for birthday.
Here is the first one which was fateful for witch, because she didn´t navigated very good with her broom and she ended in the cupcake :) I found the sentiment on the Pinterest and I think is funny and perfect for this motive.
The second one is cute and perfect for simple and quick birthday card. The sentiment is in Slovenian language and it means: "Friendship is not the big thing, is a million little things."
Enjoy your day! See you soon!

Flip Christmas Ornament Card

Beautiful Wednesday everyone!

Here I am (Simona) with a new Flip Christmas card for
I love making different shapes of cards and
this is one of them.
Any symmetrical die will work for this style of the card.
I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Twenty.

For the base of the card you need a thicker DP
that has pattern on one side and is blank on the other.
Since I didn't have that I cut two pieces for the base,
size 4 1/4" x 11". One out of white paper and the other
one out of pattern paper and glued them together.

As a focal point I used CottageCutz Snowflake Ornament die
and cut it out twice out of glitter paper. You want the ornament
to look the same on both sides ones you flip/open the card.

When you are making this style of cards you have to be careful
to pick again a symmetrical die. This is important when you
glue them together and they fit perfectly.

I kept the card pretty simple and just added
Merry Christmas greeting from the
also cut out of glitter paper.

Thank you for visiting again! I really appreciate it!

Hugs,
Simona
