Spring Floral Basket

Hello everyone from Simona!

Here I am with a new post for The Scrapping Cottage Blog.
Today's card was made with gorgeous new die
Spring Floral Basket from the NEW Garden Delight Release.

I fell in love with the Spring Floral Basket  die the moment
I saw it. Here is how I used the die on my card.
I cut the die out 2x out of the Bearly Mine Digi paper
(1x pink, 1x green). I snipped the basket from the whole die
and glued it on top of the whole pink die. I also cut out the
green butterfly.

I cut the corner die 2x out of different shades of pink paper.
I cut out the butterflies and glued them on top of the whole corner
die. I used liquid pearls on the butterflies.

I distress the edges and added a satin ribbon and a bow with
a brad. I wanted to try something different so I took a pink
copic marker and colored in the tulips. I did the same with
the leaves, but used the green marker. To get that special effect
I used Glossy Accent on the tulips and let it dry.

I am very happy with the final result and I hope you
found some inspiration in today's project.

See you all next time!

Hugs,
Simona

Garden Delight Bird Gift Card Holder

Hello everyone, Cheryl here today to share a Gift Card Holder made using the Beautiful New CottageCutz Garden Delight Bird from the CottageCutz "Garden Delight Collection"

I started off with a premade card that I purchased for super cheap, and it was already shaped at the top, and had the pretty blue tones. I used scor tape to close the top of this card, and then cut my CottageCutz Tea Time Doily out with white card stock. Next I cut blue and white circles for the area where my sentiment is stamped. I did do a little distressing in blue around the sentiment. Next I cut 2 of the CottageCutz Sweetheart Borders, one for the front of my gift card holder, and the other for the tag for the inside.

The beautiful CottageCutz Garden Delight Bird was cut with white card stock, then colored in green, blue, and pink Copic markers.

Below are the CottageCutz Dies used

Lastly I decorated the front with big bows using Really Reasonable Ribbon in Blue Satin. The roses are a resin, or plastic, but were brads, and I hot glued them onto the bows and the gift card.

Thank you for looking and have a super awesome day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Happy Valentine's Day ornament

Today I am sharing a Elegant Valentine's ornament  I created with Beautiful
Lacy Heart Doily die (4x4).

First, I cut Heart Doily 4 times. Then, I stamped 4 times sentiment on pink card stock and punch it out.  Sponged the edges with yellow craft ink and glued in the middle of Heart Doily.

After this, I folded hearts on half and glued the edges together make a 3D ornament shape. I also, put the white string in the middle of ornament.

Decorate ornament with white pearls, ribbon, button and tassel.

Sweetheart Lovebirds

Happy Sunday everyone!

Today I have a darling Valentine's Day card for you using the Sweetheart Lovebirds CottageCutz Die from The Scrapping Cottage!

Aren't these little guys adorable?  I think they are the cutest thing!

To make my card, I cut all the die pieces with white card stock and colored them with chalk inks and make up applicators.  The colors I used are Perfect Plumeria, Thatched Straw, Aloe Vera (VersaMagic), and Mocha Mama (Powder Puffs).  I also shaped some of the pieces a little with my McGill Tool Kit & Mat.  Here's a close up for you.

I used a white card base and added a white mat embossed with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder (SU).  The sentiment (Teeny Tiny Wishes - SU) is stamped with black ink.  I made the bow with Cotton Candy Baker's Twine (Really Reasonable Ribbon) and my Bow-Easy.  I glued one of the little flowers from the die on the bow center.  Then I added some adhesive pearls to finish!

Hey lovelies!!!  It's Carol here today to share with you a creation with CottageCutz dies that features the Sweet Love Release Collection.  This is so sparkly in real life.   The Filigree Cupid is absolutely adorable from this collection.  It's framed with the Sweet Love Frame and I used the Sweet Floral Heart, Elegant Love Heart and the Sweet Heart.   When I was cleaning off my craft table I found the Fancy Lace Border that I had cut and hadn't used for a project so I used it on this card.
All the other layered hearts are from a mixed package of pretty glittered hearts I got at the "Dollar Store".  They have some cute embellishments this year.  The hearts from this collection are so pretty with the different sizes and designs.  They make for fun accents to a Valentine's Day card.
Thank you for stopping by today.  We really appreciate it!   Happy Crafting.  Here are the dies I used:

Mr. Snuggles with big Flower

Hi, Vladka here!

Finally we have snow and winter here. The whole December and first part of January we had spring actually – the birds were singing, plants started to grow... It was really strange. But now it is all as it should be.

And because of the white outside, also my card is white. Only die cuts are colored. This  Mr. Snuggles is so cute and I purposely gave him this big Flower with stem. He really tried hard to bring the flower and this is what I wanted to achieve with this motive. I think it is really cute. And what do you think?

Enjoy your day!

Sweet Lil' Teacup Trio

Hello everyone, Cheryl here today to share a card I made using the Darling CottageCutz "Teacup Trio" and "Sweet Love Doily"

I absolutely LOVE these dies from this collection, they are absolutely so darling. The little CottageCutz Teacup Trio is perfect for making a Border too! In my second photo you can see, I made a border out of the Teacups, and I LOVE how they look all lined up next to each other.

For the Sweet Love Doily, I wanted to layer it, so I did, I used circles to layer on top, and then added the CottageCutz Teacup Trio. All the Teacups are cut in pink, then distressed with pink ink, and the accents are colored with copics.

These are the CottageCutz Dies I used:

I Kept this card pretty simple, by just doing the 2 layers of design paper, then adding my image to the center. Next I added the border, then my BIG Gingham Bow....hehehehee The ribbon I used is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. For the rose in the center, that was given to me by my mom.

Thank you for looking and have a super wonderful week!!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl
