Flip Christmas Ornament Card

Beautiful Wednesday everyone!

Here I am (Simona) with a new Flip Christmas card for
I love making different shapes of cards and
this is one of them.
Any symmetrical die will work for this style of the card.
I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Twenty.

For the base of the card you need a thicker DP
that has pattern on one side and is blank on the other.
Since I didn't have that I cut two pieces for the base,
size 4 1/4" x 11". One out of white paper and the other
one out of pattern paper and glued them together.

As a focal point I used CottageCutz Snowflake Ornament die
and cut it out twice out of glitter paper. You want the ornament
to look the same on both sides ones you flip/open the card.

When you are making this style of cards you have to be careful
to pick again a symmetrical die. This is important when you
glue them together and they fit perfectly.

I kept the card pretty simple and just added
Merry Christmas greeting from the
also cut out of glitter paper.

Thank you for visiting again! I really appreciate it!

Hugs,
Simona

Hello Everyone from Olena
Today, I am sharing a cute owl card  I created with Beautiful NEW Fall CottageCutz Harvest Collections 2013.

For this card I used NEW "Acorn Owl" die.

For background I used patterned paper from DCWV "The Pumpkin Patch". First, I cut owl out using different colors of card stock and sponged edges with different craft inks.

Next, I assembled and glued image together. Decorate owl with ribbon and small buttons.

Added image to card and stamped sentiment "Thanks". Decorate card with Dew Drops and rhinestones.

Grapevine Wreath

It's Kathy here with you today!  I can't believe it's November already!  Time is going by so quickly, before you know it will be Thanksgiving!  With that in mind, today I have a Thanksgiving Card to show you that I made using Build-A-Grapevine Wreath and Fall Owl Border, 2 new CottageCutz Dies from The Scrapping Cottage's Harvest Release.

To make my card, I started with a French Roast card base and added a mat of Very Vanilla Cardstock embossed with Rebecca Embossing Folder and inked with brown.  I cut the wreath with a bunch of scraps of browns, greens, oranges, and reds, shaped and inked the pieces and assembled them together.  The owl border was cut with French Roast and Quicksand Cardstock.  I taped the back of the Quicksand pieces so that the punched pieces would stay in place, then glued the French Roast border over it.  I then cut the border in pieces so I could add the owls around the wreath.  I also added a couple of extra acorns and a jute bow and button with twine in it to finish it off!

Here's a close up of the wreath and the little owls.  These little guys are so cute!

These are the dies I used on this:

Lil Monsters Bash 1 Card

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with the CottageCutz Lil Monsters Bash 1, absolutely LOVE these lil monsters.

For the monsters I cut them out in white, and then rubbed them in glue, then dipped them in Black Gala Glitz, and another glitz. Love the look this glitter glass gives to the little monsters, super fun and super easy to decorate them up!

The treat bag was colored with copic. The big bow was made using 3 different ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

For the border on the one layer I used the CottageCutz Spiderweb Border along 3 sides of my layer. Love the look of this.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

CottageCutz Vintage Tin Ornament

Hello Papercrafters!  No doubt about it!  I just adore this sweet little Bear!  He is from the Homemade Christmas Gift Set along with that sweet Poinsettia.  I was in the Dollar General the other day perusing the Christmas Ornament isle and came across these vintage tart tins.  They are adorable, so I had to buy a selection of the different colors.  I knew I was going to alter them to my personal taste.
I used watercolor paper to create my bear.  Not only do I love the way it took the distress ink, but I love the texture it has.  It just adds a little "extra" to the attractiveness of the bear.  I also used a nice chunky glitter for his hat and rhinestones for the holly berries.
My bells are from my stash that I had back in my sewing days.  They have to be 20 years old....lol  They were tarnished somewhat.  I just painted them with glue and rolled them around in silver glitter.  I love how they look.
I just love the Winter Pine Branch die.  It is my go-to die for wispy pine branches this season.  The little snowflakes were punched with a Martha Stewart punch.    Thanks for stopping by today.  I appreciate it.  Happy Crafting!  Here are the dies I used:

Halloween in frame

Hello everybodi, Vladka here!
I have to admit, this is my first Halloween creation. :) In our country it is not so popular, but it was fun to create something different. So I made this Halloween deco with wood frame, which I colored with white acrylic paint first and then also with black one.
I used different dies from Scrapping Cottage Halloween releaseHaunted CastleSpooky Ironwork Sign and  Spooky Iron Fence. I colored all die cuts with distress inks or with Copics and used also a little white tempera. When everything was done, I put everything together and for the final touch, I used a little gauze and wrapped it around one side of the frame.
Really funny dies to play with and I think it can be used for many occasions not just for Halloween. I need to use them again. :) Have a nice day!

Double Twisted Easel Card

Hello everyone...

Simona here and I am happy to share with you a new card
This time I created a double twisted Christmas
Easel Card with beautiful CottageCutz dies:

I cut the Christmas Angel out of white cardstock and used
my Copic markers to color it. The other dies I cut out
from various papers - glitter paper, Graphic 45
Christmas paper and white cardstock.

The little bells are from the Wedding Chapel .

The Christmas Angel was so easy to put together... :).

The card folds flat and it fits into regular DL envelope
(110mm x 220mm).

Thank you for stopping by!

Hugs,
Simona
