Floral Frame and Springtime Bird

Hello everyone!

Here I am (Simona) with a new project for
The Scrapping Cottage BLOG.

Today's card is showcasing beautiful CottageCutz dies from the

I decided to make a pocket card with a window frame.
I knew that the Floral Frame (Elites) die will be perfect for this.
The other two frames I cut with my Cricut machine.

First I made the pocket out of white cardstock. Then I glued DP
to the front of the pocket and after that I cut out the window with
the Spellbinders die Label 1. The floral Frame (Elites) was
cut out twice of white speciality stamping paper and sponged
with Distress Ink Shabby Shutters.

Bella Springtime Bird (Elites) was cut once out of white
speciality stamping paper and sponged with Distress Inks
Dried Marigold, Spun Sugar and Peeled Paint.

I cut out again The floral Frame (Elites) from the white
speciality stamping paper and sponged the flowers with
Distress Inks Dried Marigold and Spun Sugar.
Then I cut the flowers with scissors and glued them
on top of the other flowers.

I also used Martha Stewart punch.
The sentiment was stamped with Rich Cocoa Memento Ink.

Hope you feel inspired by today's project... :)
...and THANK YOU for stopping by!

Hugs,
Simona

Butterfly Spring Floral

Hi there!

Kathy here with you, and today I have a clean and simple card, which is extremely rare for me! Actually, this may be the first! The die I've used is the Butterfly Spring Floral from CottageCutz's new Bella Spring Release.  I love how delicate this is!

I used Solar White Cardstock for the diecut and colored it with VersaMagic Chalk Inks and makeup applicators. I really love this technique of coloring! I cut a second butterfly with a tiny piece of cardstock, colored it and glued it on top of the first one on the body only so the wings flap up. (You can see it a little better if you click on the picture.)

This is the die that I used:

Dragonfly Sachet Tag

We have some SAD news to share with you today.
Today is Lisa's Last post with us here at CottageCutz. We will Greatly miss her Beautiful Creations!!! Lisa we have enjoyed having you as a part of the CottageCutz Design Team hun! Best wishes to you !!!

Hi Everyone! It's Lisa here to share a sachet tag I created with my CottageCutz Ornate Dragonfly Die, Scalloped Doily and the Large Confectionary Bag Die.

Tags make great substitutes for cards. You print out a sentiment and add it to the back or use the tag itself to hold a gift or little surprise!

I used just the outside of the dragonfly die. I love the delicate filigree look of it. I layered it over pattern paper and cardboard with the scalloped doily peeking out underneath.

The back of my tag was colored with misting. I cut a piece of tulle and wrapped up some lavender. The cute Confectionary Bag was the perfect hiding place for my sachet. The bag on the back of the tag can hold a gift card, note, photo... whatever you can imagine!

Thanks so much for stopping in today! Hope you enjoyed my project.

Shabby Chic Bella Tweetie

Greetings Friends and Paper Crafters.  Today is a CottageCutz creation made with some dies from the Elites Bella Collection and the Spring Showers Collection.
Aren't these Elites dies gorgeous.  They are so delicate looking and feminine and add such graceful lines to your creations.  They cut beautifully in the Cuddlebug and are a joy to work with.  I just love them.
As you can see I used the Bella Spring Corner on top of Spellbinders Labels 20 with a white paper lace doily cut in half underneath.  The Spring Tweetie bird was mounted on the Doily mini and adhered on top.  The Bella Spring Corner was also used in the left hand corner.  The bottom die is the Bella Floral Border.  The Bella Leafy Branch is adhered under the rolled Bity Blossom Rolled Rose from Spellbinders.  A Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Punch set was used to frame the card.
For the tag the Bella Spring Tulips and the little tweetie from the Garden Tabs, Set of 3 was used at the top.  Brush Corduroy Distress Ink and diamond stickles was used on the edges.  Want2Scrap Bling rhinestones was added for some glitz!

White Victorian Window

Hi everybody, Vladka here!

I'm taking you from the door to the window. This Victorian Window die is so beautiful and other girls form our DT already made beautiful projects out of it.  I used kraft paper for the whole card and created also "stone" out of it. Tempera and Distress Inks were really helpful here :)

When I was thinking what to create, I got the picture in my mind: an old house made from stone with old white window. Look through the window inside the house open the view on old wallpapers with flower pattern. A little greenery around the window shows that no one lives here for a long time, because everything is so overgrown. That was my picture in my mind and it is up to you to decide if  I managed to recreate this with my card. I was really enjoying when making this project.

Find or make yourself a little place of your dreams, inside or outside of the house and enjoy there.

Baby Girl Announcements

Hello everyone & Happy Friday to all!!!\
Cheryl here today with BABY Announcement Card's to share using CottageCutz darling Mini Flower Die.

I made 2 of these, as they were soooo much fun to create. I think they would be darling to send out for announcements, and add the baby photo to the inside as well. Sure do wish I would have made these when my kids were born...hehehehe

For the inside I stamped an OLD SU! stamp, its perfect, it has all the details of the baby, and room to write.

This is the DARLING CottageCutz Flower Mini I used. I colored it with copics, and layered it 2 times to make it 3-D.

I hope you enjoyed my post today, as I enjoyed making these!
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl
