Vintage Sewing Machine

Hooray for the weekend.  Hope your weekend is all you want it to be.  It's Carol here today with some of the new Vintage release dies.  This card is made with:
The edges of the paper have been sewn with a real sewing machine.  The paper punched lace at the top is embellished with real buttons with crochet thread bows to compliment the real lace at the bottom.  The mini dress form is mounted on a teabag folded flower that looks like a quilt square in real life.  The camera just did not pick up the lovely dimension.  A button was attached to the center of the dress form and another bow made from crochet thread was attached.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful "crafty" weekend!  Here are the dies used:

BEE MINE

Good morning! Judy here to share with you two of my favorite things -- bees and valentines!

I love Valentine's Day -- almost more than any other holiday! It must come from my incredible love for chocolate :) The love for bee things is a little different -- I am very allergic to bee stings, but for some reason, just love the dies, stamps, and little bee knickknacks I find. As long as they aren't real, I am good with them!
I had originally started to make a typical yellow and black card using the Bumblebee Mini Die, but then I took a pink turn (which happens frequently since it's my favorite color) and made my card into a valentine instead.
The Scalloped Doily provided a fun background for my pink flower. The bees are buzzin' around to wish you an early Happy Valentine's Day~!

Bathroom Layout or Wall Art

Hello friends!  Janice here to share an 8x8 layout or wall hanging.  This would be so cute hanging in a bathroom or used for a layout for a bride or prom girl getting ready for the special occasion.  I used dies from the latest Vintage Release.  These are all so pretty and feminine.  I used CottageCutz Vintage Bath and CottageCutz Shabby Chic Powder Room.  I used white cardstock and metalliic cardstock to cut the pieces.  I used Copic E-40, Brick White on the tub, sink and towel.  I used B00 Frost Blue on the mirror.  The background paper is from DCWV Linen Closet.  The shower curtain is from a remnant purchased from JoAnn's.
Thanks so much for stopping by.  I will be back on the 27th with more vintage projects

Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Good morning everyone!

Welcome to CottageCutz Blog!
This is OlenaToday is my second post as designer!
I wanted to share my NEW LOVE card. I made this card using the Super CUTE -CUTE CottageCutz - Oval Doily &Frame dies and Filigree Butterfly Trio dies.

On this card I used the gorgeous CottageCutz Oval Doily &Frame die to create Oval doily shape. Next, I cut out Butterfly from Filigree Butterfly Trio die set, sponged the edges and glued on Oval frame.

Next, I stamp sentiment with craft ink and glued on paper tag and then on my card. I decorated card with plastic pearls.

Love on wings...

Here is my (Simona) second post for Scrapping Cottage BlogThis time I created a card with the theme LOVE. It can be used for many different occasions such as Valentine's day, Wedding or to express you care deeply for someone.

for my card.

The card size is 6"x6".

The dies CottageCutz Dove Shape (3x3) and CottageCutz Lock & Key Shape (3x3) were cut out of white cardstock. I distressed a dove lightly on the edges with Distress Ink - Pumice Stone. I colored the lock and the key with Copics in grey tones from light to dark.

To add some sparkle to the dove I used Tattered Angels Glitter Paint - Chandelier and for the locket and the key I used Glossy Accents. I also used a white gel pen and Liquid Pearls - Petal Pink. For the sentiment I used Cottage Impressions Frame 1 Lettering Clear Stamps (4 items) - Be Mine.

For more inspiration see my blog.

Till next time...Simona
xoxo

Flower Shop

Hello everyone!  Kathy here today!  I'm back with my second creation for CottageCutz!  This time I've used the adorable Flower Shop Die to make a cute pink and white shop.

This was so much fun to make!  I used white, pink, and a little bit of brown cardstock.  I scored white cardstock for the shop base.  I used pink, green, and brown inks to shade the edges of the pieces.  I made the sidewalk using the awning piece with brown cardstock which I think came out kind of cute!  The "trees" in the background are just lace I placed upside down.  The twine is a sample I recently got with an order from RRR...I need to set some more of this for sure!

Here's a closeup of the shop...

Here's a picture of the Flower Shop Die:

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed my project!

Wheels

Hi Everyone!
It's Lisa here!
Today I am sharing a layout I created.
This is I photo I had taken back in the fall when my family and I went on our annual pumpkin patch picking. The farm we went to had their wheelbarrows all lined up like this and I thought it looked really cool!

Once again I have used the beautiful CottageCutz Leafy Foliage Die.
This leaf die has become my new favorite! On this layout I cut the leaf branches apart and placed them around my flowers.

I created my my flowers using the CottageCutz Tropical Flower Die.
I cut three 3 of the large flowers and the sprayed them with a glimmer mist. I crinkled them and used some chalk ink on the edges and folds. I cut 6 layers of the smaller flower and layered them. The innermost one I scrunched up for a very fluffy center. I love working with this die. So many possiblities!

I hope you enjoyed my layout and it inspires you to try out these two fabulous dies!
