Hockey Bunny Valentine
IT'S NEW RELEASE TIME! The Winter Release with 15 new designs is in the online store. They are perfect for creating cards for all your winter celebrations. I think they work great for Valentine cards. You can pick them up on a limited time 30% off sale.
Today, I am using the new Winter Hockey Bunny to create a masculine Valentine card. I have little boys that I send Valentine cards to so this will be a cute one for one of them. I like to make non-traditional cards for this holiday, and I thought this image would work great for a boy or even an adult man.

Now that my card elements are prepared, I am ready to start assembly. I attached the card layers to the base with double sided tape. Since this is a Valentine card, I decided to place the hockey bunny in the center of a heart. I used the largest heart from the Heart Set and cut in white cardstock and attached with dimensional adhesive. After I attached the heart, I realized I forgot to stamp the sentiment I wanted. So, with the help of my MISTI I was able to get it stamped and even did a 2nd stamping. I used pacific point ink. The Hockey Bunny is attached with glue dots.
To complete my card, I used the Hugs w/Shadow die and cut a sentiment and then scattered a few hearts. They are cut in the rich razzleberry color. I used the Be My Valentine Puppies die to cut the hearts.

Winter Fun
Hello Scrapping Cottage Friends
I am working with our new release called Winter with 15 snowy fun designs! I decided to use 3 of the dies and made an adorable box card perfect for my friend who loves all the winter activities! I am using Winter Penguin Snowboarding, Winter Hockey Bunny and Winter Bear on Sled.
Here are the design steps for this cute little box card. (For the first few steps I am using kraft card stock so you can see it a little better. Then I will switch back to white)
2. On the top half of the card cut down to the center line and stop. On the bottom half on the 1/2 inch score line make a diagonal cut all the way to the top and remove that piece as shown
This box is so much fun to make and it is sure to delight whomever you decide to send it to! I am including a link to a video done by Sandi MacLver on how to make the box just in case!
And just to remind you we have a wonderful YouTube Channel for more inspiration. Check it out HERE
