CottageCutz Halloween Treats

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing a Treat Box I decorated up, for my Niece!
I used the Super SWEET CottageCutz Halloween Gothic Gate for the bottom of my box! I LOVE this gate, it was super fun to color up and put together!!  I colored the gate with Faber Castell Pit Artist Pen, and then added some stickle to the gate. Next the pumpkins were dusted with Tim Holtz ink.
I also used other Faber Castell to color with.

For the top of the box i tied some Tulle that I sprayed with Glimmer Mist Black. My box remains empty until I can get back to the store to buy the yummy candy to put in this :)

The Big bow is a Hair bow I made using all Really Reasonable Ribbon. I glued it onto a hairpin piece. For the center I added a brad, that I glued on.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!!
Hugs,

Spooky Halloween Calendar

Hello everyone, and Happy Friday to all!
Today I'm sharing my Spooky Halloween Calendar for the Month of October, its  a Calendar month for my 2013 Yearly Calendar project I'm making for The Scrapping Cottage using all DARLING CottageCutz dies.

On my Calendar I just had to use the New CottageCutz "Hocus Pocus Halloween Release" from The Scrapping Cottage.

I decided to use the super sweet CottageCutz "Bats on Branch" and the DARLING  CottageCutz "Halloween Owls"

For the CottageCutz Bats on Branch, I ended up airbrushing them with copics, and then added black pearl eyes to each of the bats.
Next for the Super DARLING and spooky CottageCutz Halloween Owl I airbrushed him too, and then used the Faber Castell Pit Artist Pen in warm grey. Next I used the Faber Castell Gelato in Silver.

Behind the bottom Photo Matt I used Really Reasonable Ribbons Web Netting and thought it was a perfect touch for this layout.  I also did sewing in black, as I love to sew on my projects.

CottageCutz Haunted House

Look at this Haunted House.  I have been wanting a really cool Haunted House for a long time.  I have had my eye on the PSX Haunted House forever but the price of that has been outrageous on the auction boards.  But along comes this CottageCutz die and I am in love-it's perfect.
To make the Harvest Moon I die cut the second largest circle in the Spellbinders scalloped and circle sets.  I then distress inked with Rangers Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Barn Door.  The Ghost are from my stash of K & Company Die Cuts, the pumpkins are K & Company Stickers.  The spider corners, the bats, drippy goo, and the fence are Martha Stewart punches.  The "Boo" Sentiment is a Recollection sticker.
The haunted house and all the black card stock was painted with glitter glue and black glitter was applied.  This is that very cool die from CottageCutz that I used for the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I really appreciate it.  Have a wonderful day!

CottageCutz Halloween

Hello friends!  Today's card features 3 dies from the CottageCutz Halloween Release.  I used the tree from The Witches Clothesline, the CottageCutz Spiderweb Border die, and the CottageCutz Cat on Pumpkin die.  I used some textured cardstock to cut the pumpkin and the leaves from.  The cat was cut from white cardstock along with his hat, then colored with Copics.  The tree and the spider web were cut from black cardstock.  I assembled the card, and tied some gingham ribbon to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed this scenic card.  Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by!

CottageCutz :: Happy Halloween Puppy

Good morning, CottageCutz fans!  I hope this beautiful Sunday is treating you well.  It's Lorie from The ThINKin' Spot here today with my first CottageCutz Halloween card with the newest Halloween dies!  Woohoo!  This is my favorite time of year for both being outside, AND creating.  I guess it must be the weather, because it's absolutely gorgeous, as are all of the Fall colors we'll soon be enjoying!

I received some wonderful CottageCutz dies in the mail this week from the Halloween Release at The Scrapping Cottage.   Here's my card for today...
Isn't this little costumed puppy the sweetest little Halloween pup ever?
I used Basic Grey Paper and combined it with some glittery orange card stock, along with some of my favorite embellishments and ribbon.

Here's a closer look at this cutie.  I cut him out with white card stock and colored him in with Copic markers.  I didn't get a photo of my markers this time, but for the puppy, I used C1, C3, and C5,  and for the spots and hat, I used C1-C9.  The hatband is done with V01,V04, V06, and V09.  The moon and star were both colored with Y21 and shaded with Y23.  After I had this all colored, I added some sponging to the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in vinatge photo.

Now, a look at the CottageCutz dies I used with direct links to find them in the store.

Just Married!

Hello everyone , Cheryl here with a Wedding Card using the Beautiful CottageCutz Dies from The Scrapping Cottage.

On my card I decided to use the super sweet CottageCutz Just Married Car (4x6) and then cut the car in a glitz white, and the bumper and tail light surroundings in a light grey design paper. My accent color for this card is pink, so I made everything else on the car pink.

Next I used the CottageCutz Wedding Border and doubled it up with Pink and Black to run across the right corner of my card

I used the CottageCutz Baby Frame, and the CottageCutz Magnolia Doily to layer for behind my car.

CottageCutz Dies Used:

Wedding Horse and Carriage

Hello CottageCutz lovers!!!  Today it's Carol here with a little something from the Wedding Collection.  Isn't this horse and carriage yummy.  I see so many uses for this super terrific die-it's not just for Weddings.  I know you have a sweet little girl in your life that would love this on a Birthday card.  It's a princess carriage for sure.
Just look at this Wedding border.  The images are amazing in it.  It coordinates perfectly with the beautiful Celebration Cake-I think it is just so pretty.  For my card I die cut the two dies and used some glitter glue ant white glitter  on them to make them sparkle.  The back ground is just a piece of recycled corrugated  card board distressed with some Picket Fence Crackle Paint and sprinkled with more glitter.  I used some tulle for the bow and a few pearls.  Here are the dies I used:

Hope you are having a great weekend.  Thanks for taking a look at my creation.  We'll be back again soon with more exciting creations with the CottageCutz dies!

CottageCutz Just Married Car

Hello friends!  Today's card features the CottageCutz Just Married Car.  I used glossy cardstock for the car thinking it would look like a brand new shiny car.  Well I finished assembling the car and was ready to make the card when I spilled water on my desk and also some droplets got on the die cut.  Rather than start over, I covered the area damaged by water with glitter then used some fun Valentine paper to complete the card.  When you have a mishap, what creative things do you try to fix your blunders?  I think the glitter worked for my "car accident".

Hope you have a wonderful day!
Hugs and smiles,
Janice
