Hersheys Nugget Treat Box

Hey crafty friends,
Melinda here with you and I am very glad you stopped in today! It's another Terrific Tuesday!
It's my turn to share here at the Cottage Cutz blog. So here is what I came up with. I created this fun Hershey's Nugget treat box with a fun message panel. Take a look.

Here are my elements, ready to put on my box.

Here's a closer look at the sentiment. I used the fun sentiments from two die sets. The Warm and Wishes are from a retired die and the birthday is from the Sentiment, Happy Birthday die. The balloons came from the Spring Party Car die from last year's spring release. I layered all of those onto a colored paper mat that is on top of the second to the largest double-stitched rectangle die in that set. I cut that out of white cardstock.

Here is a closer look at the adorable Merry Moose. While he was a Christmas die, he works perfectly for the cold weather too! I tucked his hat behind his antler and left off the pom pom to make it look less "christmasy".  I cut him out of all white cardstock and then colored him in. I would say that I do that with my dies about 75% of the time. I love coloring them in.
This is the back of the treat box. The finished outer size of the back panel shown here is 5.5 x 5.5. I didn't put an additional panel after the colored mat, but you could easily do so and write your personal note here.

Stay tuned, tomorrow I will share the template and tutorial on how to assemble the box!
