CottageCutz Jolly Penguin Tag

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with a CottageCutz Jolly Penguin Christmas Tree Tag, using the Tree & Stamp from the CottageCutz Homemade Christmas Gift Set Box, and then the Penguin from the "Christmas Cheer" Release found HERE!

The CottageCutz Jolly Penguin was cut using all white card stock, then colored with copics. Next I used some Flower Soft in Polar white for his Santa Cap.

The Christmas Tree tag is from the Homemade Christmas Gift set Box and  was cut out using green scrap piece of card stock, then I distressed the edges, and used the To: and From: stamp also from the Homemade Christmas Gift Set Box . I then added some twine, and a gingham bow to the top.

CottageCutz photo's below are LINKED to the Scrapping Cottage Store for easy findings :)
Just CLICK on the photo below

I left the string long enough to tie to a present for Christmas! Love how EASY this was to make! Perfect too for all your gifts!!!

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Winterland Village Tag Holder Box

Hello everyone and welcome to my CottageCutz Design Team project.  It is Carol here today and I have  a four matchbox drawer tag holder.  For the focal point, I used the Winterland Village Die, for the bottom lace, Fancy Lace Border, and for the accent under the pointsettia, Crystal Flurry Snowflake.
The Winterland Village was distressed with Tea Dye Distress ink and then glitter with a pretty shiny glitter.
The poinsettia are from the Michael's Dollar bin from last year.  I put a little extra stickles on them.  The Pearl bling is from Want2Scrap.
This measures 9-3/4" x 3-1/2 inches.  For the top and bottom use some light chipboard such as cereal boxes to give a bit of strength to your project.  Be sure to cover both the bottom of the top cover and the bottom of the project.   This box was inspired from a pin from this site.
The drawers are filled with tags from the Homemade Christmas Giftset.  Here are the Gingerbread, distressed with Tea Dye Distress Ink and holding a little Recollection HoHoHo sign.  Aren't they cute!
In this drawer there is a set of mittens with a little Holly accent.  The mittens were cut with red cardstock and then little scraps were cut again to make the cuffs.
In this drawer are the snowman.  They have been accented with little Recollection Snowflakes.  The hats were cut with scrap black cardstock and adhered.
In this drawer are the sweet Christmas Trees.  They have a little seam binding bow tied at the top.  In each drawer there is a set of 4 tags, but it could easily fit more.
Don't you think this would make a fantastic gift to a special friend.  Fill it with these adorable tags and she will love you for taking care of her gift wrapping needs.   The tags are housed in such a pretty container that can be used over and over again.  Thanks so much for viewing my project.  I really appreciate it.  See you soon.

Orchid and butterfly

Hi, Vladka here. Another project where I found my inspiration in a photo. Here it is.

Background is made from blue and white acrylic paints and with some stamps. I used the same colours to colour the butterfly. Orchid is cut out from white cardstock with Fancy Orchid die and I leave it like this. White and blue, the colour combination which always reminds me on the sea. And just in time when you reading this, I´m on my way back home from my vacations
at the coast.

I wish you great weekend!

Elegant Christmas Bell

Hello everyone!

Time flies and here I am (Simona ) with a Christmas card for
The Scrapping Cottage Blog. This card was made with
beautiful Elegant Christmas Bell die. For the inside of my card
I used Season's Greetings die from the beautiful

I used Graphic 45 paper for the background of my card.
The Elegant Christmas Bell die was cut out of white cardstock.
The Christmas Bell and the Bow are made out of 2
pieces. The top lacy cuts I sponged with a clear
VersaMark embossing pad and heat embossed it with
a fine gold embossing powder from Ranger and some
red embossing powder from my stash.
All the other cuts I sponged with distress ink pads.

On the inside I  used Season's Greetings die from the
Homemade Christmas Gift Set  and some sprigs from

A close up photo from the Christmas Bell.

The background behind the Christmas Bell was
dry embossed with a snowflake embossing folder.
I used some Spellbinders dies to cut the frame for
the Bell and added some white liquid pearls.
For the corners I cut out 4x intricate Merry Christmas
cut with scissors just the corner bits I wanted
to use on my card.

Thank you for looking!

Hugs,
Simona

For this card I used only one NEW die cut corner from Summer Fancy Floral Collection 2013 - "Fancy Floral Butterfly Corner die.

I cut corner out two times using dark orange and cream card stock.

One corner, I glued to the cream background, and from other corner I cut out two butterflies. Sponge butterflies with orange craft ink and glued on original butterflies in the corner. Stamped sentiment and decorate card with Dew Drops and Liquid Pearls.

Stocking Gift Card Holders

Happy Sunday everyone!

Kathy with you today and I have a couple of gift card holders for you that I made with CottageCutz's Large Confectionery Bag and the Build-A-Christmas Stocking Dies!

I have one in red and greens:

And another in red and brown:

I love this Build-A-Christmas Stocking Die, perfect to decorate the front of these...so adorable!!!

I made these holders with trim so they can be hung on the Christmas tree for Christmas morning. You could also put candy in them like chocolates or candy canes and hang them like an ornament. I think they will make cute gifts!

The first holder is made with double-sided designer paper and the second is cardstock so I added a piece of red cardstock inside it before assembling. These are super easy to make!

Here are the dies I used on these:
