Wish Card

Hello!  This is Sukie and today I'm sharing this sweet card for my design team post.  I used the new Birthday dies for the focal point and also pulled in a couple of older Cottage Cutz dies for this festive card.
The inspiration for my card was the patterned paper from the Bo Bunny Surprise 6x6 paper pad.  The different colored polka dots were used to draw out the bright colors of my die cuts.
The Party Elephant and Party Favors are from the new Birthday dies. I used the Nested Wacky Stitched Rectangle Set for the white card base and the Stitched Alphabet for the sentiment.  Once I cut out my pieces, I shaded them with some cheerful colors of Oxide Inks.
I layered the Wacky rectangle frame on my pattered paper.  The "wish" sentiment was adhered at the bottom of my card base and the adorable elephant was placed above the phrase.
Next, I added the presents above the sentiment and layered them slightly for a more cohesive design.
I created an embellishment cluster with the three tiny flowers in the corner of my card and finished off the birthday scene!
Here are the dies used on my card, available in the shop:

Round birthday cards

Hi! Janja is here. My summer holidays are over and I'm with you again.
For my today post I prepared 4 cards with a new release - Birthday.
Let's see how they are made.

- round card bases
- white and colored cardstock
- colored ink pads
- self-adhesive foam pads, glue

Cut out all the pieces from a colored cardstock. Color them around the edges with colored ink pads. Then assemble all mouses.

Prepare white round card bases. Cut circles from patterned papers and colored cardstock. Paste all circles on card bases.

Attach the mouses to the background with glue and self-adhesive foam pads. Stamp a sentiment and we're done.

Thanks for stopping here and happy crafting.
Janja

Make A Wish

Hi!

It's Anja here. I got a package of new Birthday dies this week. And got so exited I decided to make two cards for this week's post.

For my project I used:
- Cottage Cutz dies (Birthday Hedgehog, Birthday Cake with Pedestal, Nested Stitched Scallop Oval Set, Fairytale Birthday),
- Distress Inks (Broken China, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot, Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint, Pumice Stone, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Seedless Preserves, Brushed Corduroy, Vintage Photo),
- white card base (2; 15x15 cm),
- white card stock for die cuts,
- patterned paper (2; 14x14 cm),
- black pen,
- white pen,
- paper glue.

First I cut and colored the hedgehog and the cake.

Next I cut and colored the sentiment. I made two.

And then I cut patterned paper and two ovals from white paper.

When I had all the pieces ready I combined it in two cards.

Hope you like the project I did for today.

Before I go want to remind you to check the store for some lovely discounts of Christmas dies.

Have a nice Sunday.

Anja Z.
