Bouquet of Flowers

Hi!

This is Anja. I hope you're doing well. I was on a short vacation last week and came back home rested and in good mood. And now I'm back to crafting again. Yesterday was a National Scrapbook Day and you can find great discounts in the store. Don't forget to check it out. And also the new Mother's Day release is in the store.

I have a Mother's day card for you today. I used Botanical Garden dies to make a spring bouquet for mom.

For this card I used:
- Cottage Cutz dies (Botanical Garden 1, Botanical Garden 2, Watering Can, Tulips, Sugar and Cream Alphabet, Mug with Heart),
- Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Squeezed Lemonade, Black Soot, Wild Honey, Mustard Seed, Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn, Seedless Preserves, Dusty Concord, Peeled Paint, Bundled Sage, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick),
- craft card base (15x15 cm),
- white card stock for die cuts,
- white water color paper for background (14x14 cm),
- lilac card stock for background (14,4x14,4 cm),
- gold pigment ink,
- Glossy Accents,
- heat gun,
- brush,
- water spritzer,
- paper glue.

First I die cut the flowers and colored it with Distress Inks.

I used gold pigment ink for letters and heart.

Then I made the background. I used craft card base and lilac square.

Then I cut a square from water color paper and colored t with the smooching technique. I put some Distress Ink on my glass surface, spritzed it with water and then tapped the paper over it. I heat it with the heat gun. Then I used gold pigment ink, mixed with water and spritzed it over the paper.

I also used gold ink for the edges.

When I had everything cut and colored I arranged the pieces into a card.

Have a nice Sunday.
Anja Z.

Ornate Cross

Good morning everyone!

Hey, Vladka here again. This is my fourth post on the CottageCutz blog already.  This time with Easter theme; two cards, one main die and two dies for combination.  I really wanted to have one Cross die and with Ornate Cross I get three dies, how cool is that! :)  First card is fresher and brings a little spring on the blog :)  I combined it with tulips, which I cut out from Watering can and Tulips die.  I just love this one and here is another idea with it :)

On the second card I experimented a little bit with background and with both cross die cuts, brown and white.  To get a little color I used this beautiful wedding die Trellis and Vines and cut out vines and wrapped it around the cross.  Both cards can be also use like invitations for Baptism or Confirmation.  You just have to change the sentiments and here you go.

And here is another idea with foil.  Do you remember my last project with watering can?  Here I used two die cuts of each middle and smallest cross.  I glued it together, put the foil on and a little color.  It looks like silver and I thought it will be fun to put it on the necklace. :)  What do you think about it?

And here are all dies, which I used:

CottageCutz Bunny TricZ-Gate Fold/Video

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with my TricZ-Gate Fold Card and Video on coloring CottageCutz Easter Basket Bunny!
I created this card using the Z-Fold and moving it to the bottom. Then I thought how fun would it be to have the z fold gates smaller on top. So I thought the Name TricZ-Gate Fold would be perfect for my card!(Tric is for Trick)
I really think these types of cards are super fun to make and perfect for adding photo's.

I used the DARLING CottageCutz Easter Basket Bunny, and Ruched white Crepe Paper to cut her out. Ive colored her with Distressed Inks and show how in my video below.

CottageCutz Dies I used:

I used the CottageCutz fancy Filigree Wreath for layering behind my Bunny. The Bunny is holding the Tulip from the CottageCutz die called Watering Can ,and Tulips, I thought the Tulips would be perfect fit for this DARLING bunny!!!
I also used leaves from these 2 CottageCutz Dies as well

I thought using a mixture of leaves from the 3 CottageCutz dies would be perfect spot for the bunny to sit :)

Video/ how I colored the CottageCutz Easter Basket Bunny 4x4

Hope everyone has a nice day!!

Hugs to all,
Cheryl
