Hello Card

Hello!  This is Sukie and today I'm sharing this CAS card for my design team day.  This card came together very quickly with a few die cuts.
The patterned paper inspired the colors and rustic tones of my standard A2 sized card.  The scraps left over from other projects worked perfectly with the patterned design.
The Telephone is absolutely adorable with the coordinating speech bubble.  I used the Hello die cut for a larger sentiment.  The sweet tag is from the Love Tags Set, I added a strip of brown behind the heart cut outs.
Once I created the base of my card, the tag was offset to one side of my card.  I adhered the tag directly on top of the patterned paper.  I love the striking contrast of the colors.
The next step was to add the speech bubble with the sentiment onto my card base.  The rustic telephone was adhered in the center of the tag creating a "happy hello card."
As a finishing accent on my card, I added a small bow created with some Totally Natural Trendy Twine.
Here are the dies used on my card, available in the shop:

Valentines, Part 1

Hi, Janja here!

I wish you all a happy new year full of joy, and creativity.

In the next three posts, I'll share with you a few simple cards created by new CottageCutz dies - Valentines. These dies will be available in store in the next few days.
Motives that are cut out with these dies are very cute, and they speak for themselves.
Let us show someone that we love. Such small attentions are never too much.
To warm up a little, today I will show you two cards from Valentine's series, that I have created.

Supplies:
- white card base: 4.1 x 5.4" (10,5 x 13,7 cm), folded
- patterned paper: 3.7 x 5" (9,5 x 12,7 cm)
- white and colored cardstock
- Distress ink: Worn Lipstick, Antique Linen, Tea Dye, Hickory Smoke
- glue
- double-sided adhesive tape
- adhesive foam pads

Prepare two card bases from white cardstock for both cards. On one card base cut out corners with corner punch. Trim patterned papers, and cut out with dies all the elements that will be placed on cards.

CottageCutz dies: typewriter, love postage, sweet love borders.

Assemble the card as on photo.

CottageCutz dies: telephone, love hearts, rounded square set (7th die from the middle of a set), rounded rectangle set (the largest die from the set).

Cut out polaroid photo frame.

Completed card.

Thank you for coming over and have a nice day.
