CottageCutz Vintage Loveseat and Chair

Hello crafters and welcome to another Cottage Cutz creation.   Today we have the Vintage Loveseat and Chair and Shower Peeper dies.  Isn't this sentiment true?  That little peeper looks like me!  Just scrunch my nose up at the housework as I would rather be creating!!!  lol  Doesn't it seem like you never get done housework.  If it isn't the cleaning, it's the laundry, or the cooking, and then the dishes.  It's a wonder we ever have a moment to create!
DCWV At Home Stack paper was used to create this card.  Very appropriate don't you think?  The sentiment was created on the computer.  Spellbinders Labels Eight was used for the background along with a paper doily.  Brushed Corduroy ink was used for the distressing.  The rosette has a Recollection bling in the center.   Here are the dies that were used:

Thank you for viewing my creation today.  I really appreciate it.  Have a wonderful day.

Cottage Cutz Shower Peepers for Easter

Hi Bloggers!  Today it's Carol here and I have a cascading card to show you.   I saw this technique on Splitcoast Stampers.  You can get all the instructions by clicking here.

Look how cute these "Shower Peepers" are.  They are all just darling and this style card lets me show them all off.  They are just filled with personality!

This little guy is all smiles.  I cut him with yellow card stock and dry brushed the edges with black ink then I followed the little cut lines to add the "feathers" and added a few more of those lines around the whole image.  I gave him character with some blushed cheekcs (Copic R20),
When I first saw this chick I said, "Yep, that is exactly what I look like when it is house cleaning day".  lol  Isn't she adorable!
I used the following Cottage Cutz dies for this card:

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  It was so much fun to make this and bring to you today.  I appreciate your visit!

CottageCutz Treat Bag

If you are need a cute treat bag to make, I've got one to share with you. When I saw the CottageCutz / Peachy Keen Shower Peepers die from The Scrapping Cottage, I knew what I wanted to make. I always think that shading my die cuts with distress ink adds so much more life to them - but on this little chick, I was having a hard time getting too much ink, so I added it a little different. I used my water pen, and picked up a little Scattered Straw ink for her body, and just a touch of Worn Lipstick for her cheeks. This gave me much more control, and a very light touch of ink. The face is so cute - it's a Peachy Keen stamp that comes with the set (actually you get three different faces so your little peeper can have different expressions).

If you want to make the gift bag, here's how:

The acrylic bubble that I used on the front of the bag is a Flower-Soft Display Globe, but you could also just use a flat piece of acrylic, and cut your opening to any size and shape that you would like.

Cut another strip of paper, 1" x 12" and attach to the sides for a handle. Use dimensional tape to attach your die cut.

Scrapping Cottage Dies: Shower Peepers
Patterned Papers, Buttons: American Crafts Garden Cafe
Acrylic Dome: Flower Soft Display Globe
Distress Ink: Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick
Water Pen: Close to My Heart

Take Time To Smell The Flowers

Good morning!  It's Lorie here today to share a fabulous Cottage Cutz creation with you.  It's still technically winter around here, even though our weather has been more like spring, so with all this spring in the air, I couldn't resist playing with the new Cottage Cutz dies from Peachy Keen Designs.  Some of my all time favorite  images are now available in die form, and they come complete with adorable face stamps to give you all the versatility you can imagine!!

For this card, I used the Cottage Cutz Shower Peepers 4x6 die, along with the My Little Shoebox Ornate Circle Frame 4x6 die.  I added some pearls to the flowers, and pretty satin and organza ribbon for embellishment.  I found this sentiment in a set of stamps I had from Peachy Keen Stamps called Spring Bouquet.  I cut this chickie out with white card stock and I colored it with Copic markers.  Before I colored, I stamped the face with Memento Tuxedo black ink, which is great for use with Copics because I never have to worry about it smudging.  The patterned paper is some I had in my stash from Stampin Up!, and I did pop this cutie up onto an action wobble, so she's got a little bit of wiggle going on.  What a happy card!!!

Be sure to head over to The Scrapping Cottage to check out all the wonderful new dies.  There's still time to get your order in for the Valentine's Day release, and these Cottage Cutz by  Peachy Keen Designs like I used today are now in stock, AND if that's not enough newness for you, you can now preorder the beautiful and absolutely gorgeous spring release!!

So glad you could join us here today!  I wish you a blessed and beautiful day and some happy crafting, too!
