Happy Birthday

Hi!

It's Anja here. My new dies are still on its way, so I'm still combining dies from previous releases. This tame I made a birthday card with a cute puppy sitting on a sofa chair.

For this card I used:
- Cottage Cutz dies (Puppy & Kitty on Chair, Doghouse w/Pup & Hydrant, Happy Birthday Cupcake),
- Distress Inks,
- white card base (10,5x15 cm),
- white card stock for die cuts,
- background stamp (bricks),
- black pen,
- white pen,
- paper glue.

First I cut and colored the puppy and the sofa chair.

Next I did the same with the sentiment. I cut off the cupcake using the scissors.

I did the background with a brick themed stamp.

And when all the pieces were ready I adhered the card together.

Thank you for stopping by.

See you again next week.

Anja Z.

Have a purr-fect day

Hi everyone! It's Janja here with a card for all cat lovers.

- kraft card base: 4.25 x 5.5" (10,8 x 14 cm), folded
- patterned paper: 4 x 5.2" (10,2 x 13,2 cm)
- colored cardstock
- colored ink pads

Cut out all the pieces from a colored cardstock. Color them around the edges with colored ink pads.

Prepare a card base from a kraft cardstock. Trim a piece of patterned paper and stamp a sentiment in the color of coffee.

Attach the background to the front of the card with a double-sided adhesive tape. Paste cutouts with glue and self-adhesive foam pads.

Recently, the new release Magical Garden was added to the shop. All new dies are currently on sale at 25% off.

Thanks for stopping here and happy crafting.

Waiting on Santa

Hello Scrapping Cottage Friends!

It is Pam creating with you today

I am getting so excited Christmas is almost here!  I look forward to spending time with my family.  My cards are almost done.  I have mailed most of them out already.  For the card today I combined one of our older dies with a new one and I love how it turned out!

Designer Steps:
 1.  Use an A2 white card base cut a slightly smaller piece of red and glue it to the card. Cut a piece of  DP slightly smaller then the red and glue it to the red.

2.  Cut a piece of green 1 1/2 x 4 then run it through the embossing machine for texture.  Glue it to the bottom of the DP
3.  Use DP and cut out the chair using the Puppy & Kitten on Chair die.  Shadow the chair using black ink
4.  Cut out the puppy using the Puppy & Kitten on Chair die.  I cut the pup out of light brown and dark brown card stock
5.  Using dark green and brown card stock cut out the tree with the Rustic Tree and Sign die
6.  Glue the tree flat to the card front and then pop up the chair with the pup
7.  Decorate the tree with rhinestones and add the sentiment layered on red

Black Friday Release Samples (Part 3)

Hello Scrapping Cottage friends! Thanks for taking the time to stop and visit today. We are sampling DT cards from the brand new Black Friday Release Bundle.

There are 16 new pet designs in this release. And for a limited time the individual dies are on sale at 30% off. Or you can purchase the entire release for $99.95 and you will save 60%.

We have been featuring designs from the team this week. So if you missed them check here and here. We wanted to  give you some creative ideas for using the dies. So let's get started with the cards for today.

Card 1:  Our first sample today is from Jeanne Knobbe. She used the Puppy & Kitty on Chair die to create a cute living room scene featuring this sweet little kitty.
Don't you just love the color scheme in this room?  The colors are so chic and on trend. Looks like the kitty has found a comfy chair to relax and take a nap.
The finishing touch is the sentiment she used. It's so perfect to send that special friend to let her know you value the friendship. And, handmade cards have the ability to make someone's day so special.
Card 2:  Our next sample is from Sukie Dhillon. She is featuring the Goldfish & Bowl die on her card. The vellum fish bowl and Glossy Accents on the fish add a realistic appearance to the card. She used the Nested Stitched Eyelet Circle die as the background for the fishbowl.
The bright and cheery papers and fun sentiment make this the perfect birthday card.  The CAS design makes this an easy card to recreate for a stash of birthday cards.

That's our samples for today.  I hope the team has given you some inspiration and new ideas for using these dies.  Stop by again tomorrow for our final group post using this new release.
