Movie Night invites

Hello everyone, Cheryl here and super EXCITED to share with you all some Movie Night Invites I designed using the CottageCutz Lights , camera , Action Release.

Absolutely LOVE these, as they turned out super CUTE! Will have to have a MOVIE night, and use them to invite Family & Friends over.

Supplies Used:
Film Strip- cut in white card stock, and colored with copics
Clapboard-also cut in white card stock, and colored with copic markers (3)
Movie Night and Ticket - cut in white card stock and colored
Popcorn & Cotton Candy(past release)- cut in white and design paper, and airbrushed with the copic airbrushing system
Other supplies:
design paper, glue, copics to color, airbrushing, stickers, thickers, paint, toilet paper roll, card , glitter

First I flatten my toilet paper roll using the big shots machine, and then cut out the ends using a circle punch. I then painted with black paint, inside and out/set aside to dry. Next I cut my design paper to fit and leave a tad bit of the edges showing black. Then I glued on the paper using a liquid glue. Next is time to decorate(Fun Part), and work on the slider card for the inside. This is where it will say "DATE/TIME/PLACE" :) you can print it out on the computer, or use stickers like I did.

These are super fun and EASY to make!! Hope you enjoyed my post today, and thank you for stopping by!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

Movie Night

Hi, Vladka is here today!

I like to experiment at card creating sometimes and this was one of my little experiments. Every time I'm surprised how I enjoy such things. My hands, dirty because of the different colors, make me feel like artist, which I'm not, but we can feel like it sometimes, don't you think? :)

So, I took light blue and white watercolor tubes which I added to my working surface and with a little sponge I started to tapped and drawing lines on my piece of kraft paper. But I was careful not to press too much, because I didn't want to cover the whole surface. This was my base. Then I cut out all my die pieces, for what I used dies from Lights, Camera, Action release. Special set which I like very much and it's perfect to create invitations for Movie Night. I used following dies: Film ReelsFilm Strip and Movie Night and Ticket.  Except word Movie, which was cut out of red paper, everything else was cut out of black paper. Also on these pieces I applied some white and light blue colors and after that distressed them with brown distress ink to get more rusty look.

I needed something more, so I took a little piece of scrapbook paper with text, tore it apart and glued all pieces back together with Vintage Antique Matte Mod Podge glue, which gave me yellow look. After it was dry, I also distressed it with brown Distress ink. I glued everything together and here is the finish look. I hope you like my mixed media experiment. :)
