Flourish Love Heart

Hi, Vladka here today!

It is so nice when you walk to the hills, and you see small, cute, idyllic cottages. Here in Slovenia they mostly have a red and white checkered patterns on curtains and shutters or doors have carved heart in the middle.

I´ve used only the part of the shutters where the heart is located. I cut it out twice - first piece I colored with red Distress Ink, and left the second one as it was. I also cut out the shape of the heart from the card base to get the opening. Then I  glued the first die cut on the front side of the card and the second one inside of the card, but not directly on the red one but a little bit on the side. For this I used a brand new die from CottageCutz  Sweet Love release: Flourish Love Heart. Sentiment is stamped on one part of the Homemade Tag die cut. I like this wooden look of the card, I hope you like it too.
Have a great day.

Gift tags as mini cards

Hello everybody, Vladka here!

I have new project for you. This time I want to show you my two gift tags and they can also be used as mini cards.
Basis of the first tag is made from Homemade tag die and I embellished it with Home Baked Stamps and with word Love, made with Tweet Love die. The inside of the tag hide some sentiments, flowers and a little greenery.

For second tag I used Oval Doily for the basis die and added birthday wish in the inside.

And here are all dies on one place. Click on the photo will take you to the store:

I wish you beautiful Sunday!

Home made Tag on a card and like a magnet

Hey, Vladka here!

This time I present you a card and a magnet. This idea with magnet is something, I really wanted to try before but in the meantime I forget about it. But Homemade Tag die was perfect to realize my wish. I already know that this die will be one of my favourites. It can be used in many ways and I can't wait to use it again.

To make a magnet, you just need to cut out more pieces and glue them together to get more thickness. Now you just need a magnet and glue it on the back side and here we go.

You already know that I'm a huge fan of kraft paper and this post is not an exception. But to add some colors, I used another die, Greenery. Also one die with a sign: must have :)

As I told you before, I just couldn't wait to use Homemade Tag die again. So I will show you another project. I put it on my recipe book, together with another of my favourite dies: Spice Rack&Jar. I also used some other dies and for whole list, please look bellow.

Have a nice week!

For a card and a magnet I used these dies:

For recipe book I also used:

Homemade Salsa Tag

Good morning!  I have something yummy to share with you today, and I'm not just talking about my homemade salsa.  I think I love this tag even more than I do that homemade goodness in the jar.  I made this cute little tag using the Homemade Tag die, and the coordinating Home Baked Clear Stamps that are a part of the recent In The Kitchen release at The Scrapping Cottage.
I started with a base tag, and you can cut your own, or use a die, as I did.  Mine was a Sizzix die.  I then used the Homemade Tag die to cut the the lighter paper to be applied to the base tag.  I stamped the veggies with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with my Copics.  The edges of the tags are sponged with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Vintage Photo.  I did a little bit of paper piercing along the edges of the tag, and each layer is popped up with foam dimensionals.  I added some vintage hardware, a bit of burlap, and seam binding ribbon, which I crinkled for a more vintage look.  The homemade salsa is some from last year's garden.  I sure hope this year will be bountiful so that we can whip up some more of this.  I've given lots of it away for gifts, and it would be a great bake sale item.  The tags just make them irresistible!!  Oh!  Have you checked out the first Cottage Blog Challenge?  There's still time to enter, and you can find all the details here!!
Have a safe and wonderful Memorial Weekend!!  Happy stamping and scrapping!
