Autumn On The Farm

Hi, Janja is here with you.
A little more, and autumn will come. This is the richest time of the year, enchanting us with beautiful autumn colors, juicy fruits and vegetables.
I tried to capture some of this on a card I share with you today.

CottageCutz dies - Lucky Leprechaun, Hats, Glasses & Mustaches, Old Farm Fence, Cornucopia, Ivy, Carrot Patch Bunny
- white card base: 5.3 x 5.3" (13,5 x 13,5 cm), folded
- patterned paper: 5 x 5" (12,7 x 13,7 cm)
- colored cardstock
- corrugated kraft cardstock
- colored ink pads
- watercolor brush
- glue, double-sided adhesive tape, self-adhesive foam pads
Cut out the central motif with Lucky Leprechaun die and add a mustache.

Now cut out the various autumn crops.

Cut ivy from watercolor paper. I colored ivy with Distress Inks, brush and water.

Prepare a card base and trim a patterned paper. From corrugated kraft cardstock cut a frame and a fence. The outer edge of the frame is the same size as the card base.

First, attach a pattern paper and frame to the front of the card. Then paste the central motif, a fence and ivy. Finally, fill the bottom of the card with all the vegetables and fruits.

Have a nice day.

Happy Father's Day!

Hello!  This is Sukie and today I'm sharing this Father's Day card. These masculine dies made it easy to create this fun card for celebrating dad!
I created my card by cutting the pieces from the Hats, Glasses & MustachesHappy Father's Day Phrase and the Nested Stitched Scallop Square die sets.
I found this mustache themed paper in the Doodlebug Day to Day paper pad and coordinated the solid colors with the patterned paper.
Once I created my card base, I layered the background with the larger Nested Stitched Scallop Square.
The smaller Nested Stitched Scallop Square was turned on it's side and adorned with the die cuts.  I added some Glossy Accents inside the glasses.
While the Glossy Accents were drying, I worked on the inside of my card by adhering the sentiment along with the hat and mustache.  I also stamped a sentiment on a hand cut flag from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Fun Celebrations stamp set.  A piece of solid card stock was also added as a decorative element.
Finally my card was ready to be put together by adhering the die cut pieces to the card base.
To finish off my card, I added the stamped sentiment at the bottom portion of my card.  The whimsical design of this card will be so fun for Father's Day.
Here are the dies used on my card, available in the store:

Father's Day Card

Hi!

It's Anja here. Hope you're having a great day celebrating Father's day. This new Cottage Cutz dies are great to make different cards for your dads and men in general. Not just for Father's day, but also for other occasions. I got mine a few days ago and I look forward to using it in my future crafting projects.

For today's card I found inspiration in Lois's card. I really liked what she did with background and I thought all the small icons and pieces would be so great to use. And this is what I did.

For this card I used:
- Cottage Cutz dies (Happy Father's Day Phrase, Automotive Icons, Classic Car, Hats, Glasses & Mustaches),
- black card base, made from black card stock (21x15 cm),
- patterned paper (10x14,5 cm),
- black and white card stock for die cuts,
- Vesafine Black Onyx Ink pad,
- sentiment stamp,
- stamping platform,
- paper glue,
- scissors,
- Fiskars cutting machine,
- white pen.

Making this card was easy and quite fast. First I made the card base and cut the patterned paper.

Then I die cut all the small pieces from black card stock.

I glued the small pieces on the patterned paper.

I cut the Happy Father's Day phrase from white card stock.

Then I stamped the sentiment with black ink on the white paper and cut it out with the scissors.

And then I just glued both phrases on the background. And my card was finished.

Before I go, I would like to invite you to the Scrapping Cottage store, to check out Anniversary sale and discounts. It's definitely worth the look.

And now I'm off to my craft room. I have some projects to finish and some football to watch. Enjoy your Sunday.
