Country Christmas

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Friends,

It is Pam sharing with you on the Thursday post.

Just a reminder that our online store is featuring some beautifully detailed Christmas dies.  The dies are from Christmas Part 1 (22 designs), Christmas Part 2 (21 designs), and Christmas Part 3 (12 designs).  All of these fabulous dies are on sale right now in the store for 25% off.  Just click here to check them out.

Today,  I am working with the Farm Truck Ornament die.  I just love the country feel to this sweet little ornament.  This is a quick and easy card great for multiples!

Design Steps:
1.  Using the Farm Truck Ornament cut it out of a deep red, using the 4th from the largest Pierced Circle die cut one out of a grey parchment paper, using the Lantern with Pine Boughs cut out 2 different green shades of card stock. I made 3 cuts to get the amount of pine boughs I needed
2.  Use an A2 grey parchment base, cut a deep red piece of card stock 4 x 5 1/4 and a piece of plaid DP 3 3/4 x 5.  Glue the red and plaid paper together then glue to the base card
4.  Glue the pierced circle to the card as shown and then glue the ornament on the top of the circle be careful to get it lined up.  Arrange the pine boughs in the upper left corner of the card
5.  To complete the card add a small ribbon to the upper left hand side of the card

Merry Christmas

Hello!  This is Sukie with a project to share.  There's a brand new release of Christmas and Halloween dies in the store with so many fun designs which are all on sale!  I created this festive card using a couple of the new Christmas dies.
I die cut the pieces from the Joy Ornament, Noel Ornament and the Farm Truck Ornament.  The Merry Christmas sentiment was trimmed off of the Farm Truck Ornament.
I added a circle from the Circle Set behind each of the ornaments which helps to showcase the intricate design of the ornaments.  I found the perfect plaid paper for my card base in my stash which was adhered to the green card panel for a pop of color.
I cut out a tiny strip of the metallic card stock and strung the ornament from the top edge of my card base.
The second ornament was also hung from the top of the card panel with a longer piece of card stock.
The Merry Christmas phrase was affixed to the empty space on my card base.  It fit perfectly next to the ornament.
This card was such an easy card to create to create with the fun ornaments.  The classic colors make it the perfect Christmas card!
Here are the die sets used on my card, available in the store:
