Sweet Treats

Hi!

This is Anja. Today I have another scene for you. This is the type of cards I like to make the most. I used colored paper this time. This bunnies are so cute and you can give them different props. I used sweet treats this time.

For this card I used:
- Cottage Cutz dies (Easter Bunny & Chicks, Spring Meadow, Pastry Goodies, Retro Alphabet),
- Distress Inks (Vintage Photo, Stormy Sky, Barn Door, Peeled Paint) and Oxides (Broken China),
- white card base (21 x 10 cm),
- brown card stock for die cuts and background (20,7 x 9,7 cm),
- green and white card stock for die cuts,
- patterned paper for background (20,4 x 9,4 cm),
- black pen,
- white pen,
- Wink of Stella glitter pen,
- white pigment ink,
- clouds stencil,
- paper glue.

First I die cut and colored the pie and the muffin. I used brown and white card stock.

Then I made the bunnies. I also used brown card stock. I made the eyes with black and white pen.

Then I cut the letters. I really like this new retro die. I colored the edges with Distress ink.

I cut the grass next. I used green card stock and Peeled paint for the edges.

Then I made the background. I used brown card stock and colored the edges.

I also used patterned paper and decorated it with clouds. I used a stencil and white pigment ink.

I glued patterned paper over the brown background and then added bunnies, grass and pastry. I used Wink of Stella glitter pen to add some interest.

And this is my finished card.

I wish you all a nice Sunday. I'm gonna craft a bit and watch some sports while doing it.

See you again next week.

Anja Z.

Sweet ice cream bars

Hi,  Janja here!

On these hot days, ice cream is a pleasant refreshment. That's why two sweet ice cream bars are on today's card.

Supplies:
- CottageCutz dies: Sweet Phrase, Tropical Frame, Circle Set, Easter Bunny & Chicks (small bows)
- Peachy Keen Stamps: Ornament Face Set (1 5/8")
- white card base: 5.5 x 5.5" (14 x 14 cm), folded
- patterned paper: 5 x 5" (12,7 x 12,7 cm)
- white and colored cardstock
- Distress ink: Twisted Citron, Vintage Photo
- Distress oxide: Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo
- scallop circle punch, corner punch
- ruler and cutting knife

Cut a half-circle into a colored cardstock with the fifth die from the middle of the set. Finish the ice cream bar with cutting knife and ruler.

Stamp and emboss cute winter faces on cutouts.

The lower corners and a part of the circumference are treated with punches. Attach sticks and add small bows.

Cut out a sweet phrase twice. Paste them together, so that they partially overlap.

Cut out two frames, which are later cut with scissors.

Draw lines on patterned paper 0.4" (1 cm) from the edge with a pencil, and attach all the frame elements on them.

Completed card.

Have a lovely day!

Happy Easter

Hi, Janja here!

Today I share with you two Easter cards created with Spring CottageCutz collection of dies.

Supplies:
- CottageCutz dies: Easter bunny & chicks, spring bunny with flowers, build an Easter egg, stitched circle set
- white cardstock for card base
- patterned paper
- white and colored cardstock
- Distress ink pad Spiced Marmalade
- Color Box pigment ink pad Frost White

Cut a circle with the largest die from the stitched circle set.
For card base, fold cardstock in half. Mount the die on cardstock, so that the upper part is slightly sticking out over the edge and cut. Glue circles to each other to obtain an easel card base.

From patterned paper also cut out two circles. Use eighth die in a row from the middle of the set. Stamp sentiment Happy Easter.

Cut out Easter bunny with chicks. Shadow all elements and compose them.

Attach patterned paper on white card base. To finish the card, attach all the elements as shown to a card base using foam pads.

On another card with kitty I added some Easter eggs.

Supplies:
- white card base: 4.25 x 5.5" (10,8 x 14 cm), folded
- patterned paper: 4 x 5 " (10,2 x 13,2 cm)
- white and colored cardstock

Shadow cutouts.

Completed card.

Thank you for coming over. Have a nice day.
