Baby Sleeping on Moon

Hello CottageCutz friends!

Kris here to share a sweet baby card with you today featuring Baby Sleeping on Moon die.

This card came together very quickly with some cute papers and dies ☺

I die cut the white circle for the focal image using the Double Stitched Circle set.  I then sponged some clouds using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink and spattered some RV81 Copic ink using a small paintbrush.

I die cut a peach mat using the largest of the Nested Stitched Doily Set

I die cut the Baby Sleeping on Moon and the Expressions Baby dies from white cardstock and colored with Copic markers.

My card base is a landscape A2 card.  I cut some layers from the Bundle of Joy papers (Doodlebug Designs) and layered onto card front.  I then popped up the main focal circle onto card front with foam tape.

Sweet li'l baby card

Thanks for looking!!  I hope you're inspired to get crafty with your favorite CottageCutz dies!

Thank You Berry Much Card

Hey crafty friends,
So glad you stopped in today! Whew what a whirlwind this holiday season has been.... but wait it's not over yet...lol! We still have the new year coming. Today it's my turn to share here on the Cottage Cutz blog...so I wanted to take a break from all the holiday "stuff" and create a thank you card that is completely out of this season...
I needed a thank you card, so I decided to go with a fun, bright and very spring"ish" card. I used the new Strawberry Thank You Berry Much die that was part of the recent Black Friday release. This die is a fantastic one to have in your craftty arsenal!

Here's a closer look at the berry. I cut it out in white and also some patterned paper. I did ink the edge of the large berry and then added the white letters. I then used the Strawberry plant die and added the flowers and the smaller strawberries. I anchored all of the berrylicious goodness onto a double-stitched circle cut from some patterened paper. Lastly, I used the double stitched rectangle die and cut that out in white. I added a multi-colored polka dot mat to that and then seated all of that onto my card base that has another patterned paper mat. I do like to put lots of layers on my cards.

This is a quick and easy card that you can recreate very fast and in a variety of themes to have on hand.

Well, that about covers it for today. Be sure to come back real soon. You will want to keep up with my crafty adventures! Until the next time, have a wonderfully crafty day!

Thanks Accordion Fold Card

Hello Cottage Cutz Friends!
Melinda here with you, on this wonderful day! For today's project, I am sharing a simple and pretty card I created with dies from the amazing Flowers & More release from Cottage Cutz!

Here's a look at my card. It is an accordion top fold card. The base of the card is 4.25 x 11.
I scored it at 5.5 inch. I then scored it at 2.75" and did a mountain fold. I then added some mats to the two halves on the inside or with the base open. I then also put a patterned paper mat on the right side as well. Each mat was a quarter inch smaller than the base dimensions. 2 at 2.5 x 4 and one at 4 x 5.25.

Here is a shot of what the base will look like when folded.

Here is another view with the card slightly open. I did add a rectangle double-stitched mat with a couple of mats. I then also used the Thanks die and cut the sentiment out. I colored the sentiment with a blue marker to match the patterned paper.

Here is another view of the card opened up to show the inside. I added a white rectangle stitched scallop mat so I could write a sentiment.

Here is a closer look at the beautiful flower die cut. I colored them and then put them on a patterned paper mat that went onto the double stitched circle mat. I put adhesive on only half of the mat so that it could open. I did also add some sequins to dress it up a little. I also added some perfect pearls to the centers of the large flowers.

Sweet I Love You Card

Happy Valentine's TuesDIE Cottage Cutz Friends!
Melinda here with you, on this day to express....our love!   So I thought that was the perfect sentiment for my card today! I am sharing a sweet and pretty card I created with dies from the amazing new Flowers & More release from Cottage Cutz!

This release is amazing and a true MUST HAVE for your creative collection! All the dies in this collection are a wonderful addition and will fast be staples in your creative stash!
Here are my projects for today.

I created this simple yet pretty card featuring the Little Flowers and the Celebrate Banner dies from the new release! My card is a Horizontal top fold card. It is 4.25 x 5.5 with the fold along the 5.5 side and in landscape position.

I added a yellow cardstock mat sized at 4 x 5.25 and also a patterned paper mat sized at 2.5 x 5.25
I then cut out the Largest double-stitched circle, the three smallest stitched hearts in that set and the second smallest pierced circle die from that set.
I then used my various colored markers and colored in the two larger hearts and the pierced circle. I didn't have the right colored patterned paper, so this was a great alternative. I just tried to stay to the inside of the pierced or dashed lines. Here is an example of the larger heart.

I then cut out the celebrate banner in white and colored in the various little hearts and stars. I added dots of stickle to various ones for a little extra touch.
Here's a closer look at the assembled piece. I added the sweet little flowers to the center of the pierced circle. I cut them out of white cardstock and then colored them in as well. I added some sequins and scattered them for an extra touch. I then added the sentiment, I Love You and curved the words around the circle.

Here is one last look at my finished card. I think it turned out super cute!

Have a Cup of Cheer

Hello!  This is Sukie and today I have a sweet card to share.  Warm drinks remind me of the holiday season which inspired me to create this card.
I used the Warm & Cozy Cocoa die set from the Christmas Part 2 die release to cut out all of the pieces for my card.  The circle is from the Double Stitched Circle Set and was inked to coordinate with the patterned paper.  The sentiment is from the Scrappy Moms (retired) Merry and Bright stamp set.
The holiday drink paper is such a happy pattern and was the inspiration for my card.  I added some red and white striped paper along the edge for a festive look.  The circle was layered on top.
The cocoa mug was centered inside the circle and the cookies were added as a cluster next to the mug.
Next, I scattered the 3 snowflakes above the cookie mug creating a visual balance inside the circle.
I finished off my card by adding the sentiment flag above the circle with a small bow in Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine.
Here are the dies used on my card available in the store:
